Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y41/S1

René knew he should be aiming for the seekers, and he sort of was, but he didn't feel too bad when his next hit slammed into @Linden Cullen instead. He had a few bludger hits to make up for after missing the entire season last year anyway.

Renata surprised herself and actually hit a bludger again. This time she was aiming it away from anyone and yet it still managed to hit @Lucas Fletcher . Great, now she'd never get subbed in this season. "Sorry! You okay?"

"Good one!" Tilly shouted as Renata hit Lucas. Glancing to make sure her co-captain was all right, she carried on.
 
René had been pleased with his hit until he saw Renata managed a hit on Lucas. Deciding to shift to defense, even if Lucas made him a little nervous, René flew closer. If he was going to be one of the starting beaters he needed to get used to flying with Lucas anyway.
 
Tilly aimed a bludger at Felix. Instead, it went off course and hit @Blair Bianchi.

He was just sitting there in front of the hoops, so he really hadn't expected the bludger, reacting just a little too late as it smacked right into his side. Sucking in a lungful of breath, Zagreus tried to blink back tears, feebly nodding his head. "M'okay," he managed to get out with a long breath, not wanting to look like too much of a baby. Sure, it hurt, but he could manage.
 
René was relieved Zangreus didn't look too hurt by the bludger, feeling a little extra sympathy for him over the other players after spending most of last year playing the same position.
 
Felix tried not to mope but he wasn't feeling very good about not finding the snitch.
 
Lucas grunted in pain when the new beater managed to hit him with a bludger, but he shot her a weak smile. It was good practice, after all.
 
Felix frowned and kept up his search.
 
Lucas was starting to wonder if the snitch had gotten away somehow.
 
Professor Drage ran off the pitch when she realized she'd apparated into the wrong thread.
 
Felix kept looking for the snitch.
 
While Tilly meant to hit Felix, her bludger went off course and battered @Leonardo Orr instead.

Felix ducked when he thought a bludger was about to come his way but winced when it hit Leo instead. He still hadn't found the snitch and wished he could blame his failure on a bludger hit instead.
 
Tilly meant to whack away the next bludger so she could make sure everyone was all right. However, it turned around and clobbered @Felix Carnahan.

Felix hadn't noticed the bludger coming at him at all and he was nearly knocked over completely when it crashed into him.
 
When Leonardo got close to the hoops he was hit with a bludger and missed the hoop entirely. Merlin these hits did not get easier.
 
Felix kept looking for the snitch. But he wasn't happy about it anymore.
 
René did his best to try and keep up with Lucas to help fend off bludgers. Tilly was on a hot streak and he didn't fancy his chances fending her off if she came after Lucas again.
 
Lucas winced as a few other players were hit by bludgers. He hoped the beaters would bring this energy into the match.
 
René managed to knock a bludger away harmlessly, though he didn't think it was in any real danger of hitting Lucas either.
 
Felix kept looking for the snitch.
 
Lucas still saw no sign of the snitch anywhere.
 
Felix sighed and was starting to give up an hope that he might find the snitch today.
