Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y41/S1

Linden saw Lucas say something to Jordie and wondered what it was. Wondered what was said. If Jordie was to much like him and it would be a repeat of last year with other players. He didn’t have too much time to think as soon Blair was heading towards him with the quaffle he willed her on a weird feeling of wanting her to score and wanting to be able to st least block something conflicting in his mind.
 
Lucas sighed as he continued looking around for the snitch, there was no sign of it yet.
 
Tilly hit nothing.
 
Jordie's smile faded when Lucas scolded him. What? Discouraged, he trailed half-heartedly after Blair.
 
Linden continued to watch the chasers come towards him. come on Blair. You got this he encouraged before adding a mental come on lin you got this knowing that it was unlikely that they could both “got this” at the same time.
 
Tilly didn't mean to hit @Linden Cullen, exactly. It just happened.
 
Renata took a step back, keeping an eye on players and circling around, trying to get her head in the game.
 
While linden was anticipating a ball coming his way he was not anticipating a bludger. He almost ended up flying towards it to try and catch it before realising what it was he dodged but it was too late and got him hard on the wrist.
 
Felix kept flying in circles hoping the snitch would show itself soon.
 
René knew he should have expected as much trying to hit Tilly but it still stung when he didn't manage to fend off the bludger she sent back his was. He wheezed before straightening back up. Now he definitely needed to get in another hit.
 
Leonardo flew in behind Blair as she pushed forward with the quaffle.
 
Zag stayed ready, quietly watching the other players from his position in front of the hoops.
 
Blair attempted to score but missed this. "You got this!" She laughed, he was still the best keeper.
 
Linden was ready when Blair approached and was able to save it before it went through the hoop. you still got this he said as he threw the ball back into play.
 
Making sure Linden and Rene were all right, Tilly knocked a bludger towards Renata, wondering how she would deal with it. She was decidedly much more gentle than she had been with Rene. Instead, the bludger went off course, hitting @Leonardo Orr.

Leonardo caught the quaffle as it was thrown back out and then immediate was hit by a bludger. He fumbled with the quaffle, almost falling off his broom in an effort to keep the ball in his hands and then pushed towards the hoops.
 
When Leo got close to the hoops he tried to score, but missed. He was sore from the bludger and could at least blame that.
 
René took a lap to try and shake off the bludger hit, taking a few deep breaths before raising his bat again.
 
Making sure Leo was OK, Tilly made a lap around the pitch, watching the other players.
 
Spotting Tilly passing as she did a lap, René finally saw an opening, grinning as he managed to actually hit a bludger cleanly towards @Tilly Drage

Tilly tried to avoid Rene's bludger too late- it smacked her right in the shoulder. She gave him a painful thumbs up.
 
Felix was trying to remain focused but with the snitch nowhere in sight he was getting discouraged.
 
Tilly circled the pitch, making sure everyone was staying on task.
 
Jordie fussed over Leo a bit, making sure he was okay, before grabbing the quaffle as it was thrown back into the pitch. He brushed off Lucas' earlier comment and instead headed back towards Linden, quaffle tucked under his arm.
 
Leo flew in next to Jordie as the older boy took the ball.
