Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y40/S2

Felix kept looking for the snitch.

Leonardo caught the ball when it was thrown back out determined to be a good chaser and score.

Felix groaned and looked up at the sky. He wasn't finding the snitch any time soon so why not take a little break.

René returned Jordie's thumbs up, feeling accomplished as he managed to block another shot before throwing it back out to Leo.

When Leo was close he threw the ball and was pretty disappointed to miss entirely. He could do better than that.

René tried to block Leo's shot but it ended up not being entirely necessary as it didn't quite make it to the hoops anyway. Still feeling confident either way, René scooped up the quaffle, throwing it back out again.

Felix yawned before starting his search again.

Jordie caught the quaffle as it came back into play.

Felix kept searching and tried to stay positive even if he was getting a little discouraged now.

René was still feeling pretty pumped about how practice was going, keeping an eye out as Jordie took the quaffle.

Jordie came back around, but his frustration was getting the better of him. He sighed, running a hand through his dark curls.

René didn't know if he was imagining that he was getting better, but he was definitely less nervous when Jordie approached with the quaffle this time, glad as he managed to knock his shot away once again.

Tilly whooped and hollered when her second bludger smashed into @Felix Carnahan. Then, she chastised herself for openly celebrating. Even though she shouldn't go easy on the younger students, since other houses certainly wouldn't, she still felt bad.

Felix's optimism didn't change, especially when a bludger slammed into his good side. He let out a yelp and held on tight too his broom until the pain eased a little.

Leonardo grabbed the ball when it was thrown back out.

Felix kept looking for the snitch.

When Leonardo was close he threw the ball and it seemed to be thrown directly into the keepers hands.

René was ready when Leo approached the hoops, moving to intercept the quaffle and enjoying how satisfying the catch felt before he threw it back out.

Lucas didn't spot the snitch anywhere, he sighed.

Felix was pretty sure he had let the snitch go after he caught it. He didn't have it on him, so he must have. But the snitch didn't seem to be anywhere.

René stretched out his arms as he watched the chasers. Keeping wasn't as intense on his shoulders as swinging at bludgers, but it had its own aches that were starting to make themselves known.

Leonardo was closest to the ball when it was thrown back out so he caught it and then began circling back to the hoops.

Felix was wondering if he somehow hurt the snitch's feelings and was now being punished.

Connor was more focused on his teammates than the bludgers, wincing slightly when Tilly hit a second bludger into Felix. "GOOD SHOT! EASE OFF FELIX NOW!" He called out to his co-beater, pleased that the younger boy didn't look too badly injured. No need to make things worse, though.

Leonardo threw the ball and was very disappointed when he missed again, this was more on target but he still didn't manage it.
