Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y40/S2

Leonardo was relieved that he wasn't the only one failing. he grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out and hoped he'd have more success with it.

Felix was trying to stay focused on his task and keep looking for the snitch but he found himself getting distracted as he watched Leo grab the quaffle.

Leonardo was focusing hard, he wanted to do well, he wanted to show he was worthy of the spot. He threw the ball when close and was so pleased when it sailed into the right most hoop. Exactly what he'd been aiming for.

Jordie threw a smile to Leonardo and caught the ball as it sailed back in, circling around again.

René must have been getting too comfortable as he was too slow to block Leo's shot this time, trying not to look to dejected as he threw the quaffle back out to Jordie.

Felix kept looking for the snitch and hoped it would show up soon. This was starting to get old.

Connor caught up with one of the bludgers and swung, hoping to even things up between the two Seekers. He was disappointed when his aim was off, and the ball flew harmlessly past Lucas.

Jordie pouted when he came back around and missed again. Either Rene was doing really well or Jordie was doing really badly. He missed Linden again, resolving to practice with Linden later so he could get some tips.

René felt another bubble of pride as he managed to knock Jordie's next shot aside again. Being taller definitely seemed to help his reach as a keeper and he was feeling a lot better about playing in the upcoming game as he threw the quaffle back out.

Connor flew on, pleased that René was doing so well in his temporary position.

Felix thought he saw something but when he chased after it he realized it was nothing. He sighed. Eventually he'd have to find the snitch again.

Watching the team for a bit, René kind of wished someone else in his year was on the team, if only so they would believe him if he bragged to his friends about this later.

Determined now, Jordie caught the quaffle again.

Tilly wondered if she was going to get in trouble for showing up to practice late again. However, she came in strong, knocking a bludger straight into @Jordan Harris. Not so bad for her first swing.

Felix kept looking for the snitch.

Leonardo followed Jordie who had the quaffle.

Blair followed Jordie as well.

René winced as Jordie took a bludger, still keeping an eye on the chasers as all three approached the hoops.

Jordie yelped as Tilly hit him, sending her a pout, before getting back to what he was doing, determined, he threw the quaffle, letting out a cheer as it sailed through.

René had expected the bludger to slow Jordie down, which was his own fault when Jordie was still moving fast enough to get the quaffle past him. Frowning, he scooped the quaffle back up to throw it out to the chasers again.

Jordie caught the quaffle as it came back into play, but kept his eyes open for one of the other chasers to pass to.

Leonardo was followed behind Jordie as he caught the ball again when it was thrown back into play.

Felix frowned as the snitch seemed to be hiding exceptionally well. Maybe he had scared it off?

René tried shifting sideways a bit, wondering if that might help fend off Jordie again as he took the quaffle. He righted himself quickly though, realizing flying backwards if Jordie went after the hoop behind him would be annoying.

Not noticing Leonardo nearby, Jordie shot forward and tried to score again, pouting when he missed but flashing the keeper a thumbs up anyway.
