Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y40/S1

Staying tight on one of the bludgers, René's bat connected with a solid hit, and he tried to see if he could manage sending it off at a hard right angle. It wasn't a total success, but he still managed to send it in the direction he'd been aiming and straight to @Tilly Drage .

Felix kept up his search for the snitch and tried flying lower to the ground to see if that would help, or at least keep him out of the way of bludgers for a bit.

René was tired, but he figured he'd done a pretty good job in practice so far, despite Linden heckling him a bit, so he let himself have a lap of the pitch just resting his arms before searching for more bludgers.

Linden continued to hover waiting for the quaffle to come his way. He caught a couple of the other players eyes and gave them a thumbs up

Ducking back into the flow of the game, René had to actually duck as he mistimed a swing, dodging out of the way of a bludger gunning for his head just in time.

Connor flew on towards the bludger René had just missed, pelting after it and swinging his own bat in an attempt to redirect the ball towards Felix. But he had no luck, the ball sailing harmlessly past the younger boy.

As soon as Leo was in throwing range, he threw the ball and was disappointed when he completely missed.

linden watched as the new chaser came closer he was going to let it go in as heh ad had a few shots that had missed however the shot was a little short. he rescued the quaffle. how on earth was he going to gesticulate what he wanted to stay. he smiled slightly and made a pacifying gesture with his hands. he rolled his eyes glanced at Connor then back at Leo. "Good try. remember this is training, you can take your time if you need it to line up your shot. I'm not that scary, and neither are the other keepers." he said. before throwing the ball back into play and glancing back to Connor winding if he had just earned himself a bludger his direction.

Felix kept looking for the snitch.

Lucas kept on looking for the snitch, hoping for another snitch catch before practice ended.

Connor seemed to be gunning for Felix so René tried to knock the next bludger he caught towards Lucas, grimacing as his hit was unstable and shot into @Blair Bianchi instead.

Blair grabbed the quaffle once it was back in-game and then got hit with the bludger again, this time she kept quiet and just put the thumbs for Rene. "Good aiming," and continued her way to the hoops, hoping that the pain won't distract her.

Leonardo followed in behind Blair as she grabbed the quaffle.

With her ribs still hurting a lot, Blair aimed for the hoops and proudly followed the quaffle with her eyes as she watched it sail through the hoops. Well, she was ready for Rene to beat her up with bludgers, if it meant that she was going to score every time.

René's face flushed when Blair called out to him, nodding dumbly and nearly fumbling his bat when he tried to follow another bludger. At least Blair still managed to score so he didn't feel so bad about hitting her.

Tilly was just approaching a bludger when another slammed right into her. Merlin, had she become a sad excuse for a beater! She gave Rene a pained nod and put some distance between them.

Seeing the quaffle was free, René tried aiming for one of the chasers, gratified when he was able to knock the next bludger towards @Leonardo Orr. Seekers were still tricky to hit with how fast they moved but René was feeling better about his aim improving.

Jordie was trying to be more involved this time. He caught the quaffle as Linden threw it back in and started back around again.

Getting into a roll, René stayed on the chasers, knocking a bludger at @Jordan Harris when he saw he'd grabbed the quaffle.

Linden saw Blair approaching and tried to save the ball but it went sailing just past the ends of his fingers. He went to retrieve it before it hit the floor. And gave blare a big thumbs up before tossing it into play pleased to see Jordie come forward to catch it.

Lucas saw no sign of the snitch and was sad.

René got overconfident after his last few swings, nearly taking a bludger to the stomach for it when he mistimed a swing. He nearly unseated himself from his broom trying to jump aside, only managing to hold on barely with his legs and arms wrapped around his broom handle as the motion spun him around.

Jordie had just reached Linden again, but right as he went to throw a bludger smacked into his side. He yelped in surprise, and his shot was caught by Linden. He hovered a moment, cursing under his breath.

Linden saw the bludger hit Jordie causing his aim to fail. He easily managed to save it. He looked at horsey for a moment a look of puzzled concern on his face. Asking if he was okay before he threw the ball back into play.

Leonardo was hit by a bludger and the impact made him completely halt playing. The pain wasn't bad, but it wasn't fun. He took a moment and just got back to playing. He couldn't do that in a game but this was a practice. He'd get used to it. He flew in next to the older chaser and when the ball was thrown back out, Leonardo caught it.
