Hi all and welcome back to another bi-weekly update. This isn't a long one, so let's get right to it!
Start of Semester 2!
As of yesterday, semester two has officially started! This also means that we're now immediately in week one, can you believe it? Professors, keep an eye out for the S2 professors meeting. Students third year and up should make sure they are registered for the classes they wish to take. If not, you won't be able to get graded or receive notifications when lessons are posted. Should you encounter any issues using the gradebook, please reach out to a member of the site staff.
Holiday Areas
Witht that said, holiday areas are now closed. Here's to hoping you all had some fun threads during the break!
Duelling Tournament!
The yearly duelling tournament is upon us! Any second years or higher who are interested in competing with their classmates should check out the sign ups right here. Make sure you read the information carefully so you know what you (and your student) are signing up for. Happy dueling!
Roleplay Roulette
Groups and locations have been assigned and all threads have been posted, which mean Roleplay Roulette is well on its way. Keen to what everyone has gotten up to so far? Head over to this post to find links to all of the Roleplay Roulette threads. Lurking is totally encouraged when it comes to these unusual pairings!
Pumpkin Carving Competition
With Halloween over and done with this means the Pumpkin Carving Competition has closed. Not to worry though, the fun is far from over! With the competition now closed for new entries this means we have gotten to the next stage: voting on your favourite creation! Voting will close in six days, so make sure to get your vote in on time. Voting can be done right here.
Shopkeeper App
In case you missed it: we currently have a Shopkeeper Application open for the Medley. Always dreamt of having your character own one of the first all-wizarding clubs in New Zealand? Head over to the application page and give it a go! The opportunities are endless.
