Welcome to White Elephant (also known as Dirty Elephant, Yankee Swap, etc.). Typically, everyone brings a gift to the party, draws a number, and then selects a gift at random - there's usually some stealing involved, as well. So, I'll break it down for you below. You can also see some past games here, here, and here.
General Rules:
1. Prizes are valid for up to one year, meaning any unused prizes from last year's White Elephant have now been forfeited.
2. There are only 10 spots available. If more than 10 people sign up, we will use a RNG to select who will play to be fair.
3. This is an OOC game, meaning that each RP-er can sign up once, not with multiple accounts. Please only sign-up if you know you're going to be active, meaning you'll sign in at least once a day.
4. You will have 24 hours to choose a present or steal, whatever your move is on your turn. After 24 hours, you will forfeit your turn.
5. Sign-ups will close Sunday, May 18 at 12 pm EST.

1. Player #1 will select a gift from the pool and 'open it.' Once I see your post with your number, I'll announce your present.
2. A) Starting with Player #2 and after, each player will have a choice: You can either steal a previous player's opened gift or choose an unwrapped gift from the pool. If you choose to steal a gift, you must announce the person you are stealing from and their gift:

If a player chooses to steal your gift, you may choose a new gift from the unwrapped pool or from any player other than the one who just stole your gift (ex. Player 4 (Nick) steals Player 1 (Cyndi's)'s gift. Cyndi must choose either a new unwrapped gift or she can steal a gift from Player 2 (Emzies) or 3 (Marga)... x (you). Cyndi cannot steal back her gift from Nick in this turn).
3. After every player has had a turn, Player #1 will have the opportunity to steal a gift if they so choose. And, of course, if you have your gift stolen, then you can choose to steal another gift. Once someone decides to not steal a gift, the game is officially over and prizes will be rewarded.
