Y48 End of Year Feast

Miroslav was so over this semester, so over this whole school. He just wanted to go outside and do whatever he wanted with no curfew, nothing else but just him and whatever he wanted to do. The slytherin did not care that they'd won, did not care who had had top points. He was so over all of this. Instead at each occasion he just booed loudly, making sure he'd be heard and then just began eating quickly so he could just go.

Being part of the winning house was always good, but Winnie hadn't exactly managed to get the level of points that everyone else seemed to have managed. Or the top points earners. She was no where close to it. She knew her parents would be disappointed but she knew also that until she was a third year her chances of managing that were slim. She applauded and was glad when things moved to the actual feast. She was happier to focus on that.

Lilith attended the feast and clapped at everyone who'd earned points. Though her mind was racing through the fact that next year would be a little different. Tori wouldn't be at the school and she couldn't help but wonder whether it'd feel emptier, probably would. The Ravenclaw tried to focus on the now but her mind wandered off as she took some food and watched the people around her chat. She was sat next to Eoghan and was half listening to him chat to someone as she leaned further into his side.

@Eoghan Blyth

Daiki was glad exams were over, he hadn't really loved the stress that seemed to be associated with them. It was just a lot of work really. Even when he really wasn't doing all that much. The hufflepuff sat with kairi as things got underway. When they were able to actually eat, he leaned into her. "Wanna come to mine over the break?" he asked her.
@Kairi Kennedy

Felix was ready for the end of the year although he wasn't ready to go home for the break. He looked up from his pile of food when he heard Finley calling out about Nia, and peered across the table to see a few of the first years flinging food at each other. Did Nia have.. potato? In her hair? Figuring it was a good way to distract himself more from thinking about the end of the year, Felix loaded up a fork full of baked beans, being catapulting it straight at his cousins head while he was distracted with his friend.

Teo cackled, even as it was cut short with the potatoes to his face. He couldn't keep the smile off his face. "FOOD FIGHT!!" He declared boisturously, flinging his potatoes blindly before digging his hands into his plate and throwing the food blindly, eager now to just hit as many people as he could. @Finley Mackintosh Baros @Mania Athanasiou @Felix Layton-King

Finley didn't notice the food heading towards him until the back of his head and side of his face was suddenly splattered with something. "EW!!" he turned to see where it had come from, and put his hand to his hair to see what it was he'd been attacked with. Oh, this means war! He hated baked beans! He picked up his own fork and shoved a bunch of the dripping potatoes as he could onto it, before throwing it back at Felix. "Food fight!" He followed along from the boy before, slinging more potatoes at him.

Kairi always felt a little melancholy when the breaks came. She was pushing blindly at the food on her plate, leaning a bit into Daiki. "I can't," She replied softly to his question. "They're sending me to a foster home in a different city. They're only keeping me until the break is over- then they're giving me up again." @Daiki Saito

Vex was attracted to all manner of naughty things that happened in the school, and when he started seeing the food being flung about at the Gryffindor table it was only going to be a matter of time until the poltergeist got involved. Surely everyone knew that? With a big scream of enthusiasm, Vex swept down to the Gryffindor tables and started levitating whole plates of food into the air, flinging it at anyone who got too close. "FOOD FIGHT! YES COME PLAY WITH VEXXIE!"

Teo was already a target and he loved it. With a plate of pasta upside down in his hair, he pushed up to stand with his knee on the table, throwing whatever food he could get his hands on, not caring who he hit and instead just trying to involve the other tables in the mischief now. Though he did try and hit Vex, too- the creature couldn't be left out, after all! Even if Teo had no idea what the thing really was. @Vex

Echo turned around at the sound of commotion to look at the Gryffindor table next to her in time to see the plates levitating by the poltergeist. Her eyes widened as she was suddenly very concerned things were going to get way way out of hand. "Stop it!" She raised her hand just in case someone was going to try and spread out to the students next to them, "Put the potato down!"

Henri had been surprised that the semester was already over. He was looking forward to seeing his parents, but seeing his books and everything else. In fact as things got started, he'd been reading his book, ignoring most of what was happening around him, and just focused on it and nothing else.

Sage had been meaning to grab food and run- but then a food fight broke out and she could not just pass that up. She grabbed the closest thing she could- turned out to be a pudding of some kind- and flung it straight at Henri, a smirk on her face. She barely waited to see if it connected before throwing another handful at Finley, too. @Henri Fontaine @Finley Mackintosh Baros

June was glad this year came to and end. It had been an tough one, one she felt more than usual. And perhaps it was the hard work from all those years and the new excitement and mixed feelings from having an boyfriend which was totally new. But she could actually use a break this time. And perhaps now saw that having an break was more productive than spending all her break on studying. She still had her training for Occlumency too. She would only have one more year left at Hogwarts and it made her think of her future and the time on this school she still had. It was exciting to see if her goal would be achieved next year, if not she would have to write her father about that and the last thing she wanted to do was disappoint him. He already had lots on his mind being in Azkaban, so she wouldn't want to give him more stress.

It was no surprise that Slytherin had won again, so the blonde clapped and smiled bright after the headmaster finished. When her name wasn't called for the top point earner but an other student the blonde felt that. She hadn't been working hard enough it seemed, or that other student just cheated. June liked to blame others more than herself, but she was critical on herself when it wasn't good enough. Not that she let other show that. Perhaps having Fraser as her boyfriend had been distracting her. She ignored Vex, who was annoying always. At least the boy who beat her this year at points was working for it. That was better than people like Vanity who did nothing and still got prefect. June had no energy to react to others and didn't want to waste it on them. She could use her energy to other stuff. She took an sip of her pumpkin juice and watched around judgemental to the Gryffindor table who were behaving like idiots. She tried to spot Fraser, and was glad he was different.

Mania grinned as her mash hit the target. YES! She ginned towards Finley who was encouraging her and then watched Felix fling beans at Finfin. Oh this was awesome. Not long after the poltergeist was not involved too. Nia took some more mash and flung it towards Felix and then she heard another familiar voice yell to stop. It was too late to stop her now though. And judging by the chaos erupting around her the same could be said for most of them. "Finfin catch!" Mania yelled between laughter as she threw some mash at him too.
@Finley Mackintosh Baros @Felix Layton-King

Amory heard chaos erupt somewhere and raised his eyes to look at the Gryffindor table, oh a food fight? Seemed like a waste of food but when he heard a first year from his own house yell for it to stop he just shrugged. He decided not to get involved for now but if anyone started flinging anything at him he'd prepare for war.

As suddenly both Finley and Mania looked his way, armed with their lunch, Felix was quick to protect himself with an empty plate. He held it up in front of his face like a shield, the potato making a satisfying smack against the metal as it meant it wasn't making contact with his head instead. Felix was careful not to throw anything at those who weren't already participating, it wouldn't have been deemed fair to rope in those who didn't want to be. Instead he continued to swat the mash away from him, flinging it away in defence.

Audrey's ears were burning, but she wasn't sure if it was because the second years were talking about her or because she was thinking about the extra piercing or two she wanted to get. She'd be turning seventeen in a couple of months, and Dion had promised she could get a tattoo for Christmas. And maybe another ear piercing before then. She felt rebellious, though her slipping points was more that she'd dropped subjects she didn't need as much in favour of spending more time on her animagus studies. Ignoring the less than favourable mark in Divination, but that was whatever. She carefully cast an impervious charm on her hair before continuing to eat, just in case the food fight broke out further. She did not want to be getting potato out of her hair later tonight. "Ah, just in case we needed an argument against boarding school," she said, drily, whistling off-key to herself as she pondered her potential tattoo design.

Vex being active and around at any of the feasts was not ideal, but the chaos that ensued at the Gryffindor table didn't seem to be started by him. Matt watched in dismay as the food started flying at the table, a feeling of dread filling him as he realized this was his problem, since pretty much everything at the school was technically his problem. The fight was escalating quickly, and moving over to other tables. Matt knew he had to do something, though he also knew that he had no real control over Vex. He did, however, have some control over the students.

Even though other houses joined in, the main problem area was the Gryffindor table. This was not a new development. Matt cast a glance at James before getting to his feet. He pointed his wand at his own throat, amplifying his voice. "STOP!" He called, his voice booming through the hall and seeming to bounce off the walls. Within the next moment, he swept his wand int he direction of the chaos with a strong freezing charm, causing almost all the food that was currently airborne to freeze in place in the air. It would have been a comical sight, if he wasn't so angry. "The school year may be over, but anyone who continues to fight will start the new year with negative points and detention. And they can take a letter home to their parents. Now sit down and enjoy the feast." He said, his voice sounding uncharacteristically angry. "Vex, if you don't stop I will personally find a way to curse you." He added. Maybe he could find an exorcist or something. At the moment, it felt like an attractive option.

Christa had never been in a food fight before, but apparently she was in one now as she had been sitting beside Finley he'd been hit with beans. She had managed to duck out of the way just in time, but she watched and Mania attempted to defend herself and she passed over a plate of eggs before they were suddenly yelled at to stop. Christa had her hand in the eggs and was about to throw them, before dropping her hands to the table to try and pretend she wasn't involved.

Theodore managed to get one last throw of the pie towards the Slytherin table before the Headmaster yelled STOP. Oops. He was totally innocent. Surely they couldn't send his negative points to Hogwarts Scotland.

There was one boy in particular who was wild. He'd half climbed on the table and was now throwing all the food he could get his little hands on in every direction without purpose. "Watch what you're doing!" Echo wasn't sticking around to get covered in food when she'd spent so long doing her hair and make up today. She slipped out of her position on the bench, and moved over toward the Ravenclaw table where she felt a little safer beside her sister. Just as she slid into the seat beside Demi, she heard the Headmasters voice booming over the students. His version of stop had been a lot louder than hers, and she was glad it hadn't taken too long before someone stepped in.

Callie was just trying to enjoy her final school meal of the year when something warm and squishy hit her in the face. She'd got off lightly. Most of it had landed in Nia's hair. Well, nobody was getting away with flinging mashed potatoes at her best friend. She loaded up her spoon and let it fly. The mashed potatoes soared cinematically through the air... then froze. What?! Talk about anti-climactic. Callie scowled as the headmaster's voice boomed through the hall. Absolutely not. She was getting revenge, no matter how many house points it cost her. She stood up, scooped the potatoes out of the air, walked up to Theo, and applied them manually to his face.

@Theodore Shepherd

Demi was trying to ignore the commotion a couple of tables away, but it was hard to do that when Echo joined her table just as Professor Alcott-Ward told everyone to stop fighting. It was probably the Gryffindors, they were good at messing things up after all. The Ravenclaw sighed, glancing at the Gryffindor Head of House and wondering if he was this laid back with his own children as he was with his house. Probably, given how much Lumos got away with.

Vex watched as all of the food stopped in midair and he did a little jig on one of the pies that was stopped as he watch Not Kingy try and take control of a situation Vex hadn't even started. "VEXXIE DIDN'T START THE FIGHT NOT KINGY!" he yelled, making sure it was well known that this was absolutely not his doing. "BUT VEX FINISHES IT!" He said, picking up some of the plates ready to throw them at Not King, only he was slightly distracted when a Gryffindor girl stood up and smashed potatoes in a boys face. "YES! FOOD FACE!" So he threw a pie at the Not Kingy, and then aimed a pie at the Profesor Gryffindor.
