Y41 S1 Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice

Branson grabbed the quaffle when it was thrown back out.
 
Valeria continued to not find a bludger to hit.
 
Hamish continued his search.
 
Sawyer let out a huff of amusement at Michaels comment, waving grandly to the pitch around them. When Michael came in for a goal however he was ready this time, scooping up the quaffle to throw it back out.
 
Hamish took a moment to clean his glasses then continued his search.
 
Branson approached the hoops but it was an easy catch for the keeper, which was a little frustrating for him.
 
Valeria tried to hit a bludger but missed.
 
Sefina hoped she would catch the snitch again soon.
 
Out of the corner of her eye, Sefina spotted the snitch, for real this time. She leaned into her broom and advanced on the golden ball. Her fingers wrapped around it and grinned madly as she held it over her head. Not one to celebrate for long, she let go of it, watching it disappear. It was mad how quickly that thing could fly.
 
Sawyer was quick to block Branson this time, shaking out his arms after throwing the quaffle back out. He'd never felt the urge to go easy on the chasers but now that he was captain it was tempting to try and keep morale up, even if only for a moment. Sawyer was distracted when Sefina caught the snitch for a second time, letting out a low whistle. "Dang, alright, that one definitely counts. Nice," he called to her. He had no doubt in Hamish's ability as their seeker, but it felt nice that the new alternate he'd picked himself was doing a good job.
 
Xiuying managed to get a hold of the quaffle once it was thrown back in and made her way towards the hoops.
 
Branson flew in behind Xiuying as she went to the hoops.
 
Valeria continued to have zero luck hitting bludgers.
 
When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, the girl threw the quaffle towards the hoops and it successfully made it through the left hoop. She cheered.
 
Sefina beamed when the captain acknowledged her catching the snitch. She'd completely lost sight of it now.
 
Branson caught the quaffle as it was thrown back out and he began heading towards the other hoops.
 
Valeria was able to finally hit a bludger and it went completely in the wrong direction from where she'd wanted to send it but it still managed to hit @Sefina Drage

Sutton had been day dreaming, not that she intended to. Even though she was trying harder to be more focused on the real world, sometimes her mind would just wander. She flew around the pitch not quite thinking of anything in particular. She had completely missed the victories of the seekers who were certainly doing their jobs. Sutton shook her head, getting out of her daze as a bludger came right at her. She swung her bat, sending it flying off. At least it had not managed to hit her, but it hadn't hit anyone.
 
Sawyer was still feeling smug about Sefina, not moving nearly fast enough to out pace Xiuying as she took her shot. He supposed that should be a good sign too, he told himself, giving her a nod as he threw the quaffle back out just in time to see Valeria hit Sefina. Sawyer let out a hiss in sympathy, hoping she was alright; the first bludger always sucked.
 
Sutton was feeling more motivated right now. She had her head out of the clouds. Even if this was the case, she failed to hit the bludger, swinging a little too wild as it flew away from her to an empty spot in the air. She had to get the hang of this eventually. Right?
 
When Branson got close enough, he threw the ball and was disappointed when he didn't manage to score.
 
Valeria didn't manage to hit the next bludger that she was close to her.
 
Sutton searched across the pitch for another bludger. She leaned on her broom in an attempt to fly faster, but she just wasn’t quick enough this time. She missed the bludger that she had her eye on.
 
Sawyer was able to knock Branson's shot aside just in time, dropping down to scoop the quaffle back up and throw it out. He was wondering if he was imagining that the team seemed kind of down. Hopefully they were just focused.
 
Valeria failed to hit the bludger that came towards her.
