Y37 Hufflepuff Practice S1

Tilly winced as Connor’s bludger hit Elliot. That looked painful. She sunk down to meet the next bludger and tried to whack it away from one of the chasers. Instead, the bludger veered off course and struck @Lillith Montgomery. Her mouth agape, Tilly first turned white and then red. How embarrassing, and awful for Lillith.

Hunter caught the quaffle and flew towards Linden, who was in front the hoops. He flew towards the boy, not really sure if he should try to score or not when he noticed a blunger flying towards him that Tilly hit to keep it away from him, he owed her one, that would surely be painful.
Hunter decide it was better to pass the quaffle to another chaser as Linden seemed to be watching him, hopefully they would be able to score.

@Abian Hunter @Amy Jewel

As glad as he was to have made a good hit, Connor felt bad about hurting his teammates. So he flew over to Elliot's side, hoping to protect the captain for a bit from incoming bludgers.

Amy hoped that Elliot and Lillith were okay, since they had both been hit. She watched as Hunter threw the Quaffle and she reached out to catch it. She looked around for Abian, hoping to pass to him, but couldn't see him anywhere. She decided to throw it back to Hunter."Have a shot!" she called to him. She knew how stressful it was to try and score in front of everyone, but wanted to give Hunter a chance to score.
@Hunter Robinson

Lillith had never been hit by a bludger before, and so she was caught off guard. "Ah!!" She shouted, even before it hit her. The bludger hit her right shoulder hard, and her cry of surprise turned into a cry of pain. She held onto her broom as tightly as she could, trying hard not to fall off. With the impact of the bludger, Lillith was brought down lower to the ground. She checked on her arm, wincing at the pain her shoulder was feeling. Luckily there seemed to be no damage to her arm, but it was going to leave a bruise for sure. "I'm okay!" She shouted towards Tilly. She could handle it for now and she needed to continue on, so she readjusted herself and flew towards the other chasers, watching as Amy passed the quaffle to hunter.

@Tilly Drage

Hunter smiled at the girl that passed him the quaffle again, he felt like she was giving him a shot to prove himself. So he decided to try score but Linden was able to defend it. "Sorry" he said to the girl who had passed him the quaffle, she was probably thinking that it would have been better if she had taken a shot at scoring.

Connor stuck close to Elliot's side and tried to keep an eye out for nearby bludgers, though he felt his attention drifting to the chasers over by the hoop.

Circling the hoops, Elliot sped up when he spotted something glinting closer to the ground. Shooting forward, he barely noticed the sound of the bludger approaching until it was in his line of sight, too late to pull up or dodge. He winced at the impact, veering off course and pulling up to nurse his shoulder from the rattling hit, wheezing a bit as he glanced up to see Connor had managed to hit him this time. "Nice," He managed, eyes watering as he glanced around to see if there was another sign of the snitch.

Just to clarify, are we supposed to say a bludger hit a specific person? Don't want to get all godmoddy if it's not allowed :)

Tilly was happy that Lillith seemed to be all right. She flew around the pitch, looking for bludgers to whack to another dimension.

OOCOut of Character:
@Tilly Drage For the purposes of practice, you can pick whomever you want at random. If you do so, we appreciate if you would @ your target so they know what to RP and don't miss it. During an actual game, you'll be able to select your target from the opposing team.

Lillith was now a lot closer to the other chasers and the hoop, she watched as Hunter tried to put a goal in. "You'll get the next one!" She encouraged Hunter as she flew upwards towards the goal and catched the quaffle with her left arm, as Linden threw it back. She turned her broom to see who was open and passed the quaffle to Amy.

@Amy Jewel

Amy grinned at Lillith when she passed the Quaffle to her. She decided to try and score, flying towards the goals. Getting into a good position, she threw the Quaffle. The keeper, Linden, she reminded herself, caught the Quaffle. Disappointed she'd missed, she was still pleased that Linden was catching the Quaffle well.

Still aching, Elliot appreciated that Connor had switched over to defense for a bit. Bludger hits always hurt, and Elliot hadn't missed the sensation over the break. He was pleased to see the chasers all working together great as well, trying to let their good spirits bolster him as he resumed hunting for the snitch.

Connor stuck close to Elliot as they flew on, keeping his eye out for any bludgers encroaching on the seeker in the hopes of keeping him safe.

Linden watched as the other players moved around balls flying everywhere. it was hard enough to keep up to where the quaffle was let alone the bludgers which sort of went to show when it seemed like a lot of people were being hit. he watched as hunter flew towards him and pass the ball off before having it passed to him. he could hear the shout that singled that there was going to be another attempt to score. he kept his eyes on the boy and watched focusing on the ball. he was glad that the focus helped and he caught it and fhrew it into the game towards one of the youngest chasers. he watched it change hands a few more times before one of the other chasers started to come towards her. he kept his eye on her and tried to remember that he had to both move the broom and catch the ball. as it came sailing through the air he deflected it enough for it to miss the goal before going to catch it and throw it back into the game.

Tilly advanced on one of the bludgers. She swept it towards the group near the hoops. Thankfully, it missed for now. She didn't want to hurt any more of her teammates, but she also needed to get used to it.

It was nice to have Connor on guard, but it did always make it a little extra difficult to pay attention to what he needed to. Scanning the pitch again, Elliot's heart shot up when he spotted movement again, this time closer to the other end of the pitch. Without much warning to Connor, he shot off after it.

Lillith received the ball and decided to go for another shot. She was ambidextrous, but Lillith was used to shooting with two hands. She attempted to make a shot but it hit the ring of the hoop and bounced back.

The snitch banked hard, as if sensing Elliot was after it, and he had to course correct quickly to avoid getting tangled up with the chasers.

Hunter grabbed the quaffle after Lily tried to score and tried to dodge so bludgers that were flying towards him. He passed the quaffle to another chaser as he had tried to score before but wasn't very successful, maybe someone would have more luck than him

Abian got the quaffle as Hunter passed it to him and flew to the hoops. He hadn't had the chance to try and score yet, and wanted to show off a bit. He threw the quaffle with a slight flourish, and grinned at it sailed through the hoop.

Bludgers were flying around and Lucas was kind of terrified of getting hit, it sounded painful. He tried to focus on getting the snitch, but kept glancing around in case a bludger came near him.

The snitch darted straight up and Elliot lost sight of it for a moment. Flying higher, he lost a few precious seconds before he spotted it again further down the pitch, taking off after it.

Connor tried to stick close to Elliot to protect him, but as the seeker caught sight of the snitch and shot off Connor quickly lost pace, deciding to move away and go on the offensive again, flying off in search of a bludger.

Amy caught the Quaffle as it was thrown back into play. She flew around and kept an eye out for someone to pass to. Spotting someone behind her, she checked to make sure it was another chaser before passing it to them.
