Try outs had gone really well, and Sierra was really excited with the team that her and Lysander had decided on. She was over the moon to have someone like Lysander along side her, she knew that they were going to work well together - they already were. Soon after the Quidditch team had been announced, the two decided to have a practice, to start getting the team into shape for the up coming year. Quidditch was something that brought out the competitive side of Sierra, and she was extra keen to get a win this year, especially with it being both hers, and Lysander's first year at captainining.
The blonde arrived at the pitch a bit early to get things set up, before waiting excitedly for the rest of the team to show.

OOCOut of Character:
Just arrivals for now! We will start the practice soon!

Lysander felt great about the new team. They'd lost two of the best people, sure, but they'd brought in some fresh faces and he thought they'd turn out to be some stronger players. He was particularly excited to get to play alongside one of his best friends in a real match for a change. He showed up early to the pitch to help his co-captain set up, feeling pumped for the practice, and to see how the newer members meshed with the older ones. With everything ready to go, he tossed his bat in the air while he waited, for something to do to quell the fidgeting he felt before taking to the sky.

Flynn couldn't believe his eyes when he saw his name on the new Quidditch roster pinned up in the common room. He had been so sure he had failed and the captains would never pick him. Everything had seemed so bleak and hopeless but now, now he had been given a small chance to change things and he was not going to pass it up. He was a whole bundle of nerves as he headed towards the pitch for the first team practice, trying to act a lot more confident about things than he was feeling as he headed towards the two co-captains, offering them an anxious smile, "Hey guys."

Chloë was happy for tryouts to be over and training to start again, determined to do good and in general just happy she to be playing again. Even if quidditch brought out the competitive side of her and she really wanted to win she also thoroughly enjoyed it. She liked the sport but what made it even better was the fact that she'd be playing alongside so many of her friends. She had been glad to see Emma get a starter position on the team and for Knox to be back as their alternate, having to admit that it would've been weird without them. When their first training had been announced Chloë hadn't wasted a second in making her way down to the pitch, happily smiling at the others already there as she reached them.

Noel his world was upside down. Things were coming his way and it seemed like this was his year, but the love of his life had ended things. He was mad at the world, at Minnie's head of house and her parents. He didn't blamed her, he knew how hard she worked. And he still loved her. But that was why it was so painfull, she broke up. Noel tried to get some diversion with Quidditch and this year would be pretty busy. So he stepped on the pitch and spotted Chloe soon. And some other teammembers already. He than went standing next to Chloe and put his arm around her friendly. '' Hey Chloe. Ready to win this year?'' Noel than said. With an small smile.

Even though Sully still thought Lysander was a bit of a weird pick for captain this year, Sully was still psyched to be back on the pitch. They'd come so close to the cup last year and he was itching for them to try it again. Besides, between Lysander and Sierra it was going to be an interesting year at least. "They don't stand a chance," He said breezily to Noel as he arrived on the pitch, giving Noel and Chloë a nudge hello. "Captain, Captain," He said somberly to Lysander and Sierra before grinning.

Emma was thrilled to be on the team for real now, thrilled. She had to resist the urge to hug Lysander in joy, But she had to be a professional, as she was a professional now basically. She practically jumped up and down with her broom as she waited for practice to start. It was so exciting to be a real part of the team now, and to be best friends with the captain as well. Emma couldn't wait to get started and show her skills.

Knox was eager to play quidditch again. Even if he was still an alternate, he wanted to do all he could to help the Gryffindor team win the cup that year, just on the off chance he was called into a game. He didn’t want to be the weak link that would bring the team down, and he didn’t want to let the fact he was an alternate keep him from staying on top of his game. Thus, Knox arrived to the first quidditch practice of the year with a spring in his step. He smiled when he saw his friends and stood next to Sully at first, before smiling over to Sierra and Lysander, the new captains.

Nikko could hardly believe he had finally made the team. He was only an alternate this year but it was a step closer to actually playing. He was excited to get a chance to practice with with the team and get even better. He did feel a little awkward as he arrived to the quidditch pitch and waiting for practice to begin.

Lysander greeted the players as they arrived, giving Sully a mock salute. When it looked like everyone had arrived, he looked up at Sierra before beginning. “Okay, so uh. Hey, guys! Welcome back, and welcome to the team, you two.” He said, grinning at Flynn and Nikko. “We’re gonna split into two teams like usual. Team Gold can be me, Flynn, Christian, Sully and...” He paused, looking at the chasers. “Chloe! Team Scarlet is Sierra, Nikko, Emma, Knox and Noel. Christian, you guard the north hoops, Nikko, you can take the south. We all know what we're doing, right?" He asked. "Right. Okay well, let's get started." He mounted his broom, ready to kick off, before remembering they hadn't actually released the balls yet. "Oh wait, hold on. Haha." He laughed, and unlocked the box to set the bludgers and the snitch free. "Okay, now let's go." He finished, tossing the quaffle into the air for the chasers to take, before kicking off from the pitch himself.

Sierra grinned at Flynn when Lysander said who was in what team. "Show me what you've got!" She said with a grin, before taking off into the air, waiting for the boy to join her up there, before looking around for the golden flying thing.

Sully laughed at Lysander's salute before he got the practice going. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad having him in charge. As Lysander split them up into practice teams, Sully was pleased that he was on a team with Chloë for once. Not that he didn't like teaming up with Noel and kicking ass, but Chloë was awesome too, and she'd already proven to be an amazing chaser in just one year too. "Team Gold's got this in the bag already," He announced, scooping up the quaffle as they kicked off.

Flynn swallowed nervously as he gripped one of the school brooms, carefully sitting himself on before kicking off into the air. "Right, yeah," he should have maybe sounded more competitive about things, but right then he was more concerned with his nervous he was. But, all he needed to do was to catch the snitch and prove to himself that he deserved a spot on the team. So, Flynn wasted no time in setting off in search of something shiny.

Lysander chuckled, pleased to see Gold already in possession of the quaffle. He shot off, bat raised to chase after the closest of the bludgers, and kept an eye out for Emma to see what she was up to.

Nikko nodded as he listened to Lysander give out instructions. South hoops, he could do that. He followed the rest off the team and kicked off before taking up his position. He watched Sully grab the quaffle first and he started to get ready to block the shot.

Sully kept an eye out for an opening to pass to Chloë as he approached the hoops. He didn't know their new keeper very well yet, but he was keen to see how he managed on the team, lobbing the quaffle towards the hoops. New keeper was able to block the shot and Sully let out a hiss of disappointment. "Gave you an easy one, aye," He called with a grin, just to let them know it was no hard feelings, and waited for the quaffle to be back in play.

Lysander slowed down to watch Sully take his shot against the new keeper. He didn't expect the guy to block the first one, especially against Sully, and was surprised when he failed to score. "Good job Blackwood!" He called, applauding the younger boy. "Don't go too easy on him! The other houses won't!" He shouted with a light laugh, and continued on his pursuit.

Chloë smiled at Noel as he joined them, chuckling when Sully answered his question before she could. She listened when Lysander announced their teams, nodding at the mention of her name for team gold’s final member. “Let’s gooo!” She laughed, excited to get started as she pushed herself off into the air. She was pleased Sully managed to scoop up the quaffle right away, sticking close and keeping an eye on the other chasers as she did. Even though Sully didn’t manage his shot Chloë still had to smile a little, feeling like at least it was a good start of practice for their new alternate.

Flynn was just trying to keep his head down in his search for the golden snitch, though he was still paying attention to what everyone else was doing, smiling slightly as he started to get into the groove of things. "Let's go gold team!"

Even after his miss, Sully was feeling pretty psyched with Gold Team, keeping his eye on the quaffle in case there was a chance he or Chloë could grab it again.

Lysander approached a bludger and took a swing, watching it rocket past one of the Scarlet members. He frowned, and continued on his search.

Chloë turned around after Sully missed his shot, getting back in position to either start chasing the other team if they caught the quaffle or see if there was a chance for them to intercept.

Emma smiled proudly when Lysander started the practice. He almost sounded like a real captain, which was somehow surprising. She frowned when he didn't put her on his team, but she guessed they were the only beaters on the team and they had to be split up for it to be fair. She took to the air once practice started, eager to show how well she could do in team Scarlet. She flew after the bludger Lysander had hit, and tried to hit it in the direction of team gold. But she missed, which made her frustrated.

Flynn continued to fly in circles in search for the snitch, but so far, wasn't seeing anything and was becoming fustrated. But he wasn't going to give up, adjusting his foot and flying off again.

Sierra zoomed about the pitch before slowing down and having a proper look for the snitch. She tried to remind herself to keep an eye on players as well incase they needed help or training in something specific, but she only really knew how to train seeking. She looked at Flynn and gave him a thumbs up with a grin.
