Professor Kalif Styx just finished setting up the tables, using magic to conjure them, for all the electives, including the chairs involved. He conjured cloths to cover the tables. Last time, Kalif played a small prank on Cyndi, but decided against it this time. It would need to be a surprise so he would only do something every so often, around a blue moon. This was not one of the occasions. Kalif conjured himself a chair and sat down, while folding his arms across his chest. Now, to witness yet another fair, to see how it would turn out.

Professor Bryce Chamberlin was glad that he had not overslept. It was like that during the other several times he was back. Bryce walked over to the area designated for Divination, and conjured a beautiful banner above the table, decorated with sparkles, as well as images of crystal balls and tarot cards. Bryce beamed in pride as he walked behind the table, and sat down at the chair. He would have to wait for Elvera as well. After all, they shared the subject, and she also taught him.

Wendall was honestly clueless when it came to his electives and what he wanted to do next year. Stepping into the Great Hall he noticed a number of tables set up to showcase the different subjects, but where was he meant to start? He wanted to take the fun ones but how did he know what they were? He pondered through the tables, walking slowly and wishing he’d waited for one of his friends to turn up, feeling a little lost in this brand new ocean of choice.

Jenna walked the Grate hall and today she was a little bad mood and hoped she would be hear Electives Fair. She saw familiar faces but nothig to say and she waited what happened next and what need to do.

Andrea alredy was herr and waited what happened next. Today she was a realy good mood and she smiled everyone. She spended almost time in the library and she wanted be a good student here but she never know Electives fair and what was that?

Professor Kingsley nodded at her colleague as she entered the courtyard to set up. Surprised that Professor Josephs hadn't beat her to it as she usually did, the woman moved to set up the Ancient Runes table. She'd brought some pamphlets down from her office about the subject and how it could help someone in the future, hoping that students would take it and read it at some point in the future. She also had brought some of the more exotic runes - bone and glass ones in a pretty coral color. The woman had found those to be good talking points in the past. She also had her own set should anyone want a small reading. The room was still a bit empty but she expected business would pick up soon so she settled in to wait.

The electives fair had been one of Kahurangi's favourite parts of the school year for a long time, and held a prominent spot on her office calendar. Working with teenagers for most of the year, she relished the chance to introduce younger students to her subject and see the wide-eyed wonder on their faces before they aged gradually into cynicism. With an armful of supplies, she greeted Cyndi with a smile as she took a seat next to her colleague and began setting up her own half of their table. Kahurangi had brought the usual supplies; amulets bearing bind runes designed by her sixth years, several different sets of runes for students to look over, and a few books and pamphlets about the different branches of study the subject would open up for students futures. Once her half of the table was arranged, Kahurangi settled into her seat with a smile, hoping she would soon be approached by curious students intrigued to learn what runes could offer them in their futures.

Ajaccio wasn't sure what he wanted to learn, he would given the opportunity do all of them, but he was somewhat hopeful that in the following year he might improve on his grades and knew he wouldn't be able to do it if he was doing all of them. He got the feeling that care of magical creatures would be good, it was outdoors and looking after animals, one thing he liked and the other he'd do for the first. He walked into the great hall and spotted both Star and Andy were in the room, it was a pity in his mind that they didn't know each other, because it would make things easier, but given all the problems he'd had with Andy and not being around her all that often, he approached her, "Hey Andy," he greeted with a little smile, "What are you thinking of taking?"

Andy was thinking about Electric fair and what was that then she hear familiar voice and that was Ajax. She finaly was happy and things alredy go better when she talk with him and she smiled and hear progress was realy good at this time and she tryed be better friend to him. "Ajax!" She say cherfuly voice to him and shake his hear a little. "Huh, i'm thinking what is Elective fair? Do you know what is this monster?" She joked and today Andy was the grate mood.

Iris had been looking forward to certain electives from the moment she had started Hogwarts, and was this time dragging Emma into the courtyard for once, instead of the other way around. She told her sister to listen to the professors, as she knew Emma still wasn't sure what she wanted to do. Then she wandered over to the Divination table, the biggest draw for the Ravenclaw. "Hello Professor." She said eagerly. "Are we using all these forms of divination in the classes? What do we start with? When do we cover tarot cards?" She asked, the questions bursting out of her quickly in her excitement.

@Professor Bryce Chamberlin

Emma didn't get why Iris was so excited about this fair. She already knew what she wanted to do, so what was the point? Emma on the other hand, had no idea. Care of Magical Creatures sounded pretty cool when Fleur talked about it, but what else? The girl sighed and wandered around on the fair, looking at the different tables a little hopelessly. Finally, she moved over to Professor Kingsley, the one familiar face here. "Professor, between you and me... what's the best elective?" She asked in a stage whisper. "You're going to say Ancient Runes, right?" She added, gesturing at the table.

@Professor Cyndi Kingsley

Professor Chamberlin did not expect someone to approach the Divination area so quickly. It did please him that some second years were taking interest in this subject. He smiled, answering as he signed, "Professor Le Fey teaches lower years, and covers tarot cards and variations of scrying. I cover dreams, astrology and palmstry. I suppose you can say that we cover everything! You would start with methods of scrying, such as tea leaves and crystal balls! Fourth year, you learn about tarot cards!"

@Iris van Houten

Chloë had some sort of idea of which electives she wanted to choose as she made her way into the courtyard. It would be good to look around and talk to some of the professors though, as she felt like she wanted to do more than would actually be smart. She decided she'd start by walking around for a bit as she made a mental note of which professors she might want to talk to and where their tables were.

In memory of her father, Madlyn started walking with the staff he carved out many years ago. It was tall as where her chest stopped, it had a knotty wooden end. Very cliche looking when it comes to staff, except created by the hands of a giant man who once never had a proper surname. Thanks to her dear mother, he was given one. And thanks to Jackie, Madlyn had possession of the staff for a while. The half breed giant arrived to the elective fair, walking with the staff and a muted Fwooper bird resting on her large shoulder. Zora, she was one of Pip's lovely. Madlyn wanted to make an impression with these second years so she requested Zora from the Sanctuary. It wasn't an easy task, Pip is still grumpy over Nugget. It took a lot of convincing to get Zora and a promise to try and get him reconnect with Eve. She said she would try, keyword: try.

Lysander was pumped for the elective fair. There were tons of classes he was interested in taking, or finding out more about if he didn't really understand what they were meant for, and other classes he knew he'd be picking no matter what. When he entered the courtyard, he'd figured he'd pass over the Care of Magical Creatures table, since he didn't need to be told twice to take it, but the moment he laid eyes on the fwooper that Ateara had brought, he couldn't simply keep on walking by. "Hi Professor!" He called out as he hopped up to her stall. "I like your fwooper! What's its name?" He asked. The Menagerie had a few, but they were one of the animals he wasn't often allowed to help look after. "And hows the niffler?" He continued. He missed the little creature, and her class was another good excuse to hopefully see him again.
@Professor Madlyn Ateara

Madlyn smiles broadly over Aeon's young boy. She already become acquainted with the young cub, the same goes for Nugget. "Hello, Mr. Summers. She pretty isn't she?" Madlyn sits down on a chair stable enough to hold her up. She a lot less intimidating than standing up at full length. Madlyn figures she more approachable when dealing with a younger crowd. "This is Zora, she lives at the Sanctuary along with Nugget. You know the niffler you helped capture? That very same one. Zora is visiting for the day. If I have to guess, you probably already know all about fwooper birds?"

Wendall had spotted a few of his friends, but smiled when he noticed Lysander up ahead talking to one of the professors. He headed across but as he got closer, he realised that they were talking about Nugget. Why would they be talking about his cat? Alarm bells went off in his head when he heard about a Sanctuary. Had he missed something? Had he managed to get Olive's cat captured and sent away? He backed away before he heard any more about it, deciding he definitely did not want to take that subject, especially if they put animals in bad places. The second year stood there wide eyed, unable to move from his spot.

So finaly Jenna started walking the proffessor and asking about this and she see dark arts proffessor. She always liked dark arts and she wanted talk with this proffessor and he always be so serius. "Hello, Proffessor! Can you please tell more about Electives fair? What need do?" She was here first time and she know that he mayby would know.

@Professor Kalif Styx

Lysander smiled at the bird as Ateara introduced it. "Hi Zora!" He greeted, his attention shifting back to the professor while she explained where it had come from. He loved the Sanctuary, and wondered if he'd seen Zora in any of the enclosures before. It seemed likely. "I miss little Nugget. Has he been up to any more crazy adventures?" He asked with a grin. He seemed like a handful of trouble. "I do know some stuff about fwoopers. Like, they make you go crazy when they sing." Sander nodded. None of the silencing charms on the ones in the Menagerie had ever worn off before his father had reapplied them, but he still wasn't often allowed near them just in case because of it. Honestly, he thought it was pretty dumb, since silencing them made them totally harmless birds. Fuzzfeathers was totally more dangerous. "What other kinds of creatures do you teach about? Do we get to play with them?" He asked. He was eager to ride a hippogryff, or see a unicorn up close for the first time.
@Professor Madlyn Ateara

Iris nodded, she had known Professor Le Fey taught the lower years, but she was glad that Professor Chamberlin was able to answer her questions. "Oh, that is so nice." She said, almost wishing she could take notes. Scrying was very interesting, and Iris immediately wanted to read a bit more about it. "Is there anything you recommend me reading before classes?"

@Professor Bryce Chamberlin

Spencer took a deep calming breath before he followed Ellie into the courtyard. He wanted to know more about the elective classes, but he didn't deal well with the crowds of people in his year. He stopped to hover around the diviation stall and listened to the conversation between the professor and one of the girls in his house. He couldn't muster up the courage to ask any questions himself yet, and hoped their exchange would answer any he had.

Chase hadn't put much thought into what classes he would take in his third year so he needed to have a good look around at the options during the electives fair. He made his way to the courtyard and looked around for some familiar faces when he spotted Wendall with some of his other friends so he made his way over to them. "Yo Wendall, hey guys,"

The orange feathered Fwooper would ruffle it's feathers, and open it's beak to twitter a deadly tone. Of course, nothing but silence would come out. "Nice try, Zora. Even though I know you're not doing this on purpose, silly bird. We cannot bring harm to the children, especially the ones that are interested in taking my class," Madlyn poke it's beak, and smiles over at Lysander. "Nugget, is Nugget. He's with his dad at the Sanctuary. I'm sure he's been up to many adventures," Madlyn said with a chuckle. While she indulge Aeon's boy with answers, not far from where she sat there was another boy looking quite odd to the side. "Yes, you're correct. As for creatures that I teach on, I teach about plenty in my class. Some that you're familiar with, some that you're not. The only way you'll find out about them if you take my class," she informs him. In this particular moment Zora would cock her birdie head to the side at the odd boy standing frozen still. That caught Madlyn's attention, the professor's gaze landed on the young Hufflepuff. "You alright? Are you stunned?"

@Lysander Summers @Wendall Layton

After hearing about the Electives Fair from Professor Carter, his head of house, Alexei was eager to know what sort of elective courses they had to offer. He remembers his dad telling him and Anastasiya he took up care of magical creatures and one other one Alexei was having a hard time recalling. He won't even guess what their mother took during her years at Hogwarts, from what he heard from his dad, his mom was too busy with quidditch and breaking hearts. Alexei is aware of his mother's rejection to his dad when he first propose to the former Gryffindor. It's a story he'll dare not repeat because, well, at the end it had a happy ending anyways. There is probably a lesson to be learn there, however, currently the young Hufflepuff couldn't be bother with that right now. He arrived at the Electives Fair looking around the courtyard to see what these electives professors had to offer in the respective subjects.

Roxy dragged her tiny feet to the Electives Fair, chewing a big wad of bubble gum when she appeared outside the courtyard standing in the middle of her surrounding area. Snaps. Roxy popped her gum, none of this really excited the Slytherin girl. I can be sleeping, or rolling in mud. Roxy sighs, only becoming lively spotting the Frenchie, redheaded girl. "Hey ya, what's up with ya mate? Any of this call to ya attention?" @Chloe Thompson
