Open Spin the Bottle!

Wendy didn't know what was going on. There was this rising tension in this crowd, and she could feel it and she had nothing to do with it. Imagine those involved, she was sort of happy to be excluded from whatever that was happening here. But, she couldn't help feel like a lot of it was directed towards Analei and Arvel, that much she had noticed. "Hey, you should try better at whispering," Wendy glared at Willow and Jacob. She heard them make the bet over Arvel, like Analei she felt compel to protect the boy even if they weren't that close. Shaking her head, Wendy nudge Arvel to step-up.

After a few more spins, Arvel started to relax. The bottle was probably never going to land on him. And then, just as he thought that, it did. His heart skipped a beat as he watched Maggy get up and make her way over towards him. What - she was actually going through with it? She wasn't going to pretend the bottle had landed on Analei, or insist on spinning it again? Colour crept into his cheeks. He expected this to just be a quick kiss-on-the-cheek affair, but then Maggy seemed to imply she wouldn't mind a real kiss, and, well, Arvel was hardly going to say no. He closed the gap between them, planting his lips softly on hers, pulling away again after a second. It was only slightly more than a peck, but it was nice. At least, Arvel thought so. Scared that she would have a disgusted expression on her face, he looked away, unable to meet her gaze. Now it was his turn to spin. He spun the bottle quite hard, for some reason thinking this might help prevent it landing on Jacob. For a second, it looked as if it was about to... but then stopped on Simon. Simon! The boy who had dismissed Analei's affections. Arvel glanced at his friend anxiously before standing up and crossing the room, his heart thumping manically. He paused in front of the boy. "I don't really mind," he mumbled, as way of letting Simon decide what sort of kiss to go for. Not everyone liked kissing boys, after all.
@Simon Vanity
Feel free to godmod whatever!!

willow heard someone else speak from across the room and looked over to the girl a glare in her eyes. they were having fun. this game was boring if you didn't really know most of the players and their own drama. or if you hadn't had a chance to play. the only thing she knew about the two people she had bet on was their house. however, as they kissed she looked back at Jacob. and raised her eyebrows in a 'look who owes me ten knuts' kind of way. bet you five knuts that you will have to kiss buzzkill over there" she whispered purposely making it loud enough for the girl to hear. she knew she would probably lose. but that didn't matter she just wanted to tick the girl off.

Simon looked towards Joshua and nodded as the boy sat with him, "Of course not!" the boy told him honestly and happily. he was quite eager for such a game, and it got underway. He had never been interested in boys, his preference had always pretty firmly stayed with girls, but he was open to kissing and kissing wasn't anything so when a younger hufflepuff boy spun it and it landed on him, he would lean into it. Leaning in as the boy had approached him and kissing him very lightly on the lips. The part veela smiled easily as he leaned out from the boy. Now it was his turn. He took the bottle and spun it, it went around and around until it stopped on a Ravenclaw girl in the year below him. Something wolf. he went over to her and smiled with ease, he would allow her to decide if it was a kiss on the lips or just something on the cheek. It was all harmless fun, but he figured it was only right that much like he was given a choice of how to kiss and others had been too, that she get a choice. "However you want to," Simon said to her with a warm expression. He was mostly just glad it hadn't landed on Analei, that would've just been so awkward.

Maggy was surprised when Arvel agreed to kiss her. When he did she found it very light and squishy. She wasn't sure if she really found it that enjoyable but it wasn't unpleasant. She tried to smile at the boy afterwards but he seemed to be focused on spinning and he ended up with Simon and she wondered after which he'd prefer kissing. She watched as the game continued enjoying the fun and laughter. She had overheard the bet made on her kiss and was glad the girl was the one who won the money off her kiss. She looked pretty cool with her hair color and all.

Sapphire hadn't really been paying attention to the game, more interested in a pattern she'd found on the ceiling. When she felt movement nearby, she looked up to see some redhead approaching Kira. Her eyes narrowed a moment and she lifted a foot to keep some space between the two. She looked to Kira to gauge the girls reaction, wanting to make sure she was okay with the guy before lowering her foot. She didn't return to her pattern just yet, though. She kept a close eye on the pair to make sure Kira didn't need her to intervene.

Kira had been watching the game with interest. Could she really do this? Her heart started pounding furiously when the bottle landed on her and an older boy came closer. She swallowed nervously. What was she supposed to do? Sapphire put her foot up, giving Kira a moment to collect herself. "It's alright Sapph," She murmured, blushing furiously. She could do this! Right? Gathering all her courage, Kira darted forward and just barely brushed her lips over his before falling back. She offered him a very shy smile. She'd done it! And now she had to do it again. Taking a deep breath, she took the bottle and spun it around. It moved weakly before stopping halfway through the circle. It pointed straight at Jacob Kingsley. Kira felt her blush lessen a bit. "Oh, Jake." She almost sighed in relief before scooting over to where he sat. She knew she should have brought Onyx along as well. She offered him a shy smile, waiting to see what he would do.

Jacob snickered at Willow's comment just after he'd shaken his head to let Jemma know he hadn't had a turn just yet. He would probably throw in an extra knut just for that. "Let's hope not" he muttered, continuing to watch the game progressed. No one wanted to be the first one to back out and when the bottles opening finally landed on him, Jacob knew he wasn't going to either, even if it meant he had to kiss a girl. At least he knew Kira, and Jacob leaned forwardly easily, his lips meeting hers quickly. It was nothing at all like kissing Onyx had been. Nothing at all.

Jacob gave her a kind smile, not wanting her to feel bad if it was a let down for her as well and then turned towards the bottle. There were a lot of people here he didn't want it to land on. Jacob gave the bottle a spin and then sat back on his heels, holding his breath as it spun and spun, slowing down well beyond Diana. That was a huge sigh of relief. But then it stopped right on one of the few people in the room he didn't know. Jacob had found the crawling around the room a bit odd, so he stood and made the short walk over to the guy. "Hey" he said before kneeling and closing his eyes, letting his lips lead the way. He had no idea if the guy would give him his cheeks or his lips, but he'd find out in a few seconds.

@Shane Ackley

Shane had been watching the game, he was sure he’d noted the organiser looking at him at one point, and did glance towards her with a little smirk on his face. This was easy, this was a harmless game and he could just flirt. He could keep a smile on his face if it was the purpose of flirting. The boy noted the way others in the room sat with friends, one girl got annoyed with another boy and the game finally got underway. They were interesting to watch, girls to boys, girls to girls and boys to boys, all sharing kisses with varying degree of interest and reluctance. Eventually the bottle settled on him and he glanced towards the boy who’d spun it, keeping a light and charming smirk. The boy was cute at least, Shane was sure he was in the year below him, but it wasn’t like any different to him, other than Kinsey he didn’t know anyone personally, the fourth years in his classes were only people he knew from faces. ”Hey,” the boy returned with as charming a smile as he could put on. He noted the boy closing his eyes, oh that’s cute. Shane leaned in, put his hands on the boy’s cheeks lightly, guided him the easy and small distance to his lips, pressing an easy kiss to them. He let go and pulled away, ”Thanks,” Shane said to him, before letting the boy retreat. Now it was his turn. He leaned forward, and spun the bottle watching as it went around and around and eventually settled upon the girl was sitting right next to the boy he had just kissed. She was cute too, though a lot of the people in this circle were cute. He took the short distance across to her and kneeled in front of her, ”Hi,” Shane said to her. He was easily keeping himself smiling, as charmingly as he could manage, it wasn’t as difficult to hold a smile when he meant for it to be more flirty and the teen kept his gaze on her, ”Cheek or lips,” if it was lips he would likely do like he’d done with the boy and if it was cheek he would just give her a quick peck on the cheek. He’d let her decide. Shane had always swung both ways, so he felt as comfortable and keen to kiss girls as he was boys. There was little limit for him.

The game started to get a bit more interesting as people she knew get picked. Keira a Ravenclaw she knew more by association than actually knew got kissed. she then kissed Jacob. who spun a boy who she didn't know and must have been a fourth year. as he returned to his spot she turned "you haven't won yet" she whispered. he may have not kissed the girl who had hissed at them this round but the game wasn't over.
she hadn't been paying attention to the bottle and was surprised to see the boy who Jacob had kissed was right in front of her asking lips or cheek. she returned his smile and raised an eyebrow as if saying why are you bothering to ask i am not a chicken before leaning forward and meeting him on the lips. Willow's first kiss. was with a boy she didn't know in front of over twenty people. how did it make her feel? it was nice she supposed. but it was just a game there were no real feelings involved.
she watched the boy return back to his spot and almost forgot it meant it was her turn to spin. she gave the bottle a spin and sat and watched as it slowed down. "no freaking way" she said as it came to a standstill. it was pointing directly at her, not even slightly towards fleur or Jacob on her sides. she went back and spun it again. this spin seemed to take forever before it eventually stopped painting to Jemma. Jemma wasn't a bad option. if she hadn't thought that her first kiss would be a stranger with a crowd watching she certainly hadn't thought her second would be a girl. but at least Jemma was her friend. She got up and made her way over to her roommate. "how do you want it?" she said leaning forward and letting her friend decide where the kiss landed.

@Jemma Potter

Jemma watched the game progress excitingly. She was especially interested when her cousin kissed two people in a row, then Willow kissed some boy she didn’t know before the bottle was suddenly pointing at her. Her green eyes didn’t betray any of her surprise but she was thankful that this wouldn’t be her first kiss. She didn’t want to be horrible at it. Brayden would have told her if she was. He was honest and blunt. Definitely didn’t inflate her ego any. The girl arched an eyebrow at the question. Jemma might keep to herself on the whole but it wasn’t because she was a coward or an introvert.

Jemma leaned forward and planted a kiss on Willow’s lips. She pulled away after a brief moment with a grin on her face. It hadn’t been unpleasant in the slightest. The Gryffindor girl picked up the bottle and spun it. As it spun around in a circle, Jemma had the horrifying thought that it might land on Jake. No way was she going to kiss him. Thankfully, she was spared as the bottle landed on a Slytherin girl she didn’t know. Jemma leaned forward. “Cheek or lips?” Jemma asked the other girl, letting her choose. @Dominique Malone

This game was so much fun, and Domi couldn't help bouncing in her seat slightly as she watched. She was more than ready for her turn to come around again, and she was double ready for that bottle to seal her fate and land on Arvel. It felt like forever before her turn finally came around again, and Domi felt bad for the people who hadn't been spun yet. The bottle finally landed on her again, and Domi gave the Gryffindor girl a grin as she approached, unable to help noticing that she was quite cute. "Lips, duh!" She grinned brightly before leaning in and meeting her lips sweetly, enjoying the moment.

Once it was over Domi's turn to spin came again and she grinned, looking around the group as she leaned forward. There was nobody here that Domi would especially mind the bottle landing on, but she knew exactly where she wanted it to go. Willing the bottle to do as she wanted, Domi spun quickly, a little dismayed as it landed instead on a boy she had never spoken to. At least he was cute. Hopefully Arvel would have seen how good she was at kissing, and want to kiss her himself. Leaning closer to the Slytherin boy, Domi grinned invitingly before leaning in, letting him choose whether to offer her his lips or cheek, but hoping for the lips.
@Zennon Baros

Analei was surprised to see Derek there - she'd figure that Emilia would trust him, but if he went any further than cheek kisses, there was no way that Emilia wasn't going to know that.
The blonde Hufflepuff was glad when the bottle landed on Arvel; she knew what a terrible feeling it would be for it not to land on you, and she didn't want people to grow bored of the game before he got a turn to kiss someone - someone other than Nixon. She ignored the whispers that Jacob was doing, slightly surprised to see Jemma sitting with him - she hadn't realized the two were friends. But she gave Wendy a smile when she snapped at Jacob. It was a weird, quiet environment, but what was she really to expect from the game? Arvel kissed Maggy, and then spun Simon. Her breath hitched in her throat slightly, and she wished it were her that had spun it instead, to show him what he had missed out on. She watched them kiss, it was so not fair, and even more unfair when he spun and it landed on another girl in her year. Analei rolled her eyes when the girl she knew as Sapphire tried to stop Simon - why was she even there if she wasn't going to kiss anyone?
The game got nerve-wracking again when the girl spun Jacob, and then it was his turn to spin. Thankfully, he didn't spin Analei or Arvel.
It eventually spun back to Dominique, and she found herself surprised that Diana hadn't had another turn yet. She really thought the girl would've figured out a way to jinx the bottle to land on her often. Though Analei wasn't entirely keen to kiss a girl again, she did wish that she would be spun on again, it had been awhile since her turn and she wanted to spin again. Analei sent a small smile to Zennon when it landed on him. He was someone that Analei fell out of touch with quickly, which was weird seeing as they shared classes. They weren't as close as they used to be, but she still thought he was a cool dude. Analei clasped her hands together, wondering why there wasn't at least music, or two bottles, or something else so that the people that weren't playing didn't have to watch two other people kiss. It felt weird.

Diana was glad the game was going so well. She looked on with a slight smirk. Jacob was kissed by a girl, but the to Diana's displeasure kissed the older boy she had been looking at. She wanted another turn, and thought for a moment it would land on her but instead it landed on Domi. Diana tapped her nails on the floor impatiently as she watched.

Fleur hadn't had a turn yet, which she didn't mind too much. It came near her once when it landed on Willow, but then the game moved on. Fleur glanced at Willow with a smile. "How was that?" She asked in a whisper. She wondered if it was Willow's first and second kiss. It would be for Fleur if the bottle landed on her, though she also wasn't entirely sure if a kiss during a game counted as much.

Willow kissed Jemma on the lips waiting short moment to show that neither of them were scared or embarrassed before breaking away. after all, they had been sorted into Gryffindor for a reason. It was different from kissing the boy. she was glad that she actually knew Jemma, it somehow made the kiss feel a little more personal. but the fact that she Jemma was her friend also made it a little weird. she had never thought of kissing a girl before. she half stopped paying attention to the game as she thought on it. that was until a voice to her side asking how it was. fleur brought her back from her daze. as the girl who started the game was kissed. "I don't know. it was different, nice, but not what I expected" she said quietly. if people were going to eavesdrop she didn't particularly want them to know that has been her first kiss. but apparently people had heard a whisper so maybe they would find out anyway. "I wonder if you will get a turn soon" she said. it would be awkward to sit an watch everyone else kiss and be the only one who hadn't been spun.

Zennon was a little horrified when he realized what the game really was, especially since he had not had his first kiss yet. He watched and eventually calmed his nerves about the game, looking forward to when it spun on him. However, when Dominique spun it, it landed on him. 'Greatm a girl,' thought Zennon. She leaned forward to him, and he leaned forward as well. He was aiming for the lips, but at the very least second, turned his head so that she kissed his cheek instead. That was embarrassing. He gave her a weak smile, and then spun the bottle himself. Then, it landed on one of his friends. He blushed lightly, but decided to let her decide on where to kiss. He leaned forward toward Sapphire and smiled. He puckered up, half hoping for a cheek, but figured if he had to kiss someone, it better be someone he knew.
@Sapphire Michaels

Leda had stopped paying much attention after her turb, but when her friend landed on Sapphire, the Slythrin glared silently at the pair. If there wasnt a cheek kiss, the fourth year was going to kick off in Mervyns defence. It was unfair he wasn't here to witness this himself, but Leda wasn't going to stand for it and could only hope this pair knew the risks they were taking.

Being the kind of person to overthink and second guess decisions had only served Edmund poorly recently, and it was certainly serving him poorly again today. It had taken moments for him to regret letting Analei walk away at Valentines, and barely more time for him to realise how big a mistake dancing with Diana was. Their dance had lasted almost no time, Diana losing interest in him the instant Analei was gone, and Edmund had never felt like such an idiot in his life. Of course Diana had only approached Edmund to hurt him. Her cruelty had always been something he loved about her, but now that it was directed at him it did nothing but sting.

Edmund needed to collect his head, and he desperately needed to talk to Analei. He had heard whispers of some kind of gathering for people in their years, and decided to go there and see her. Or so he had thought. The walk down to the second floor had been agonisingly long, and Edmund had changed his mind half a dozen times before he found himself standing in front of the door to the classroom he head heard rumours about. Should he go in? Should he leave? Edmund had spent so long trying to decide that he was quite sure he was incredibly late by now. If Analei wasn't there Edmund would feel a fool, and he didn't especially want to socialise with any of his other classmates. If she was, though... Edmund took a nervous breath before opening the door, stepping into the dark room before really processing what he was seeing. It seemed to be some sort of... kissing party, and Analei was indeed here. And so was Diana, right in front of him, clearly presiding over the whole affair. Edmund felt all the blood drain from his brain and took a step back, turning and leaving the room as quickly as he had arrived, not a single word said. This had been a huge mistake.

Diana hid a smile as Zennon turned his head so Domi couldn't kiss him on the lips. That was a pretty smart move. She was sure Domi would be disappointed and dramatic about it later, but knew her friend wouldn't make a fuss now as she knew Diana wanted to keep the game going. She followed the spinning bottle and raised her eyebrows slightly as it landed on Sapphire. She was curious to see what the blonde would do, considering she had a boyfriend. A cheek kiss, probably. Her attention was drawn away from Zennon and Domi as the door to the classroom opened. Diana expected more students to join, but froze as she saw it was Edmund. She stared at him, certain it was him and not his brother the moment he looked at her. If only it had been so easy to tell them apart when they were still together. She opened her mouth to tell him to leave, but it wasn't needed. Edmund stepped back and left the room, and Diana felt her body relax slightly. At least she wouldn't have to deal with him. Still, she glanced at the door uncertainly, wondering what Edmund was thinking right now. She had wanted him to see how over him she was, but now she wondered if she had upset him. It shouldn't matter, but it did a little.

Jacob was back at his seat before he knew it and then it was Willow who ended up kissing the same guy. And then she ended up kissing Jemma. It was an odd few seconds for Jacob but then the game was moving along on the other side of the room. "Anyone know who he is?" Jacob whisper asked Fleur, Jemma, and Willow. He'd never even seen the guy around, but now that he'd kissed him, he was obviously interested in knowing more about him. Jacob was only giving a little of his attention to the game so he was a bit surprised to see Zennon. His eyes widened but quickly recovered and was narrowing them as he observed the bottle landing on Sapphire. She was dating Mervyn who was noticeably not here. He didn't know what was up with either Derek or Sapphire for showing up to a game like this when they were dating other people.

Fleur looked up as the door opened and saw a boy in her year, but he seemed to have changed his mind immediately as he left. The Ravenclaw twins were always a little odd, so she didn't think much of it. Her attention was drawn to Jacob, who asked a quiet question about the boy he had just kissed. Fleur knew the answer, so leaned in a little. "He's in my year, Hufflepuff. Shane, I think." She said quietly. She didn't know much about him besides the fact that he was a transfer and had been the one to volunteer for the Imperius Charm in Professor Styx' class. She had been worried about him after that, but didn't know him well enough to ask him about it.

Analei glanced up as the door opened, doing a double take at seeing who had walked in, and then promptly walked out. She felt her cheeks flush and she suddenly felt ashamed to be apart of this game. Looking down at the ground, Analei almost felt her body move to follow Edmund, but she managed to stop herself. Not only did she have no idea what she would say, he hadn't followed her. He didn't follow her out of the Dance, or talk to her in the last couple of days since then. Analei had no reason to follow him, no reason to not enjoy herself here. He wasn't going to spoil this for her, he didn't deserve the pleasure.

Sapphire had been busy elaborating a few swirls in the ceiling into a bigger pattern. She'd been paying no attention to the game. She felt a presence nearby and looked up to see Zennon hovering near her expectantly. She rolled her eyes. She sat up, grabbing his chin and turning his head. She graced him with the quickest of pecks to the cheek before grabbing the bottle. She didn't spin it. She set it in front of Kira. "Your turn." She declared. She flopped back in her chair and attempted to resume studying the pattern in the ceiling. Kira nudged her foot before she could. She sighed and sat up to look at the brunette. "Nope, your turn," She repeated. "You said you needed back up, so I'm here. If you wanted a twin to play in the kissing game you grabbed the wrong-" She was interrupted by a too-familiar voice.

"Wrong twin?" She let out a startled yelp and turned, ready to hit her brother upside the head. She stopped and instead, she stood, pushing him into her seat. She kicked the bottle in front of Onyx, hands on his shoulders. "Have fun!" She declared to the two, waving to the others in the room as she left. She didn't apologize to Di. Her friend should know she wasn't really that big on touching. She wasn't about to play some lame game that revolved around kissing strangers. Shuddering as she hurried down the hall, Sapph decided it was probably time for a shower.

Small godmod approved by Daphne

Onyx was bored out of his mind. Where were the girls? He'd been wandering around the castle looking for them. He was passing by the student lounge when he heard whispers of a game in the abandoned classroom. That thing? He'd completely forgotten about it. But would the girls go to something like that? He shrugged. One way to find out. He hummed to himself as he made his way there. He popped open the door and stuck his head in, surveying the crowd. His eyes lit up as he spotted the two sitting inside.

He shut the door behind him and sauntered over. He had just stepped behind Sapphire when she brought him up. "Wrong twin?" He asked casually, smirking at her reaction. It was pretty fun sneaking up on her. The next thing he knew though, he was in her seat and she was gone. He blinked a few times before looking to Diana. Was... was Sapph allowed to do that? The girl nodded once. He shrugged. He cleared his throat and attempted to sound like his sister. "My turn," He smirked at how stupid he sounded and spun the bottle. Whatever. He could adapt.

He watched the bottle as it spun, surprised as it came to a stop on one of Kira's friends. Fleur something. Dragon costume. He couldn't remember all the details. He shrugged and walked over to her. He flashed her a charming smile as he waited to see what she would do.
