Open Spin the Bottle!

Still tense from unexpectedly seeing her ex boyfriend, Diana had a bit of trouble focusing on the game again. She looked at Sapphire and frowned as the girl tried to put the bottle in front of someone else, clearly not intending to play. She was about to say something about it, when Onyx appeared instead. Diana stared at what was happening uncomprehendingly for a moment, before it became clear that Sapphire was giving her twin her turn and leaving. Why had she come in the first place if she wasn't going to play? Diana was disgruntled, and watched her go with a frown. She then turned that frown on Onyx. "Fine." She snapped as she nodded, waving her hand dismissively. She wasn't thrilled about this, but at least the game would go on. Onyx landed on a girl with red hair Diana didn't really know. For once, she was kind of glad it wasn't on her, though she still really wanted a turn.

Fleur was a little surprised by the switching between twins that was happening, mostly startled by the boy's timing. It seemed like he had popped up the moment his sister needed him, which made Fleur wonder if twins really did have some sort of special bond. She had to ask her sisters sometime. But she couldn't wonder about that very long, as the boy who was now taking a turn spun the bottle which pointed squarely at her. She had been excited at the idea of kissing someone, but now that she had to kiss a stranger she felt a little uneasy about it too. The boy she recognized from her house, and from hanging around with Kira sometimes. She gave him a nervous smile as he approached, then decided she should just go for it. She was here to play, and she would play properly. As a true Gryffindor, she stopped thinking about what she was doing and just closed the gap between them, kissing the boy on the lips briefly. It was... fine. Not amazing, definitely. Fleur immediately wondered why she had been making such a big deal about this, and why everyone else did. "Cool." She said, blinking. Then shrugged and grabbed the bottle. She gave it a spin, then watched as it landed on a younger Slytherin girl she didn't know. Fleur had been curious about kissing girls as well as guys, and wondered if kissing a girl would be any different. She sort of doubted that this kiss would be any better than the last, as she figured it was the 'kissing a stranger' part that was taking the magic out of it a bit, rather than the gender of the person involved. But that was fine, it would be good practice for the future anyway. She headed over to the girl and gave her a smile. "Lips or cheek are both fine with me." She said softly, leaning in slightly, letting the Slytherin decide.
@Anastasie Vernier

Jacob had been watching Sapphire pretty intently as he waited to see what she would do, so he was a bit surprised to see Onyx appear at her shoulder. He crossed his arms against his chest and looked away when he learned Diana was going to let him play and take Sapphire's turn. If Jacob wasn't so reluctant to call attention to himself in that moment, he'd have cried foul mostly to annoy Diana. But he didn't want Onyx to see him there and wanted Onyx's spin to land on him even less. It wasn't much better when the bottle came to a stop on Fleur, who was sitting just on the other side of Willow. Jacob pointedly looked towards his cousin Jemma so he wouldn't see Onyx kissing anyone else before mouthing 'I'm bored' to his cousin and then leaning his head against her shoulder.

Jemma grinned at the Slytherin girl as she returned to her seat next to Jacob. She had actually kinda enjoyed the kiss. She thought she was getting the hang of the kissing thing, and this game was pretty fun. She saw Analei across the room and gave the girl a small wave. However, the game quickly took a turn as Onyx came into the room, taking Sapphire's place in the game. Jemma thought it was weird that she showed up to the game when she was so obviously in a relationship. Her green eyes immediately went to Jake, who happened to be looking at her. As he put his head on her shoulder, Jemma traced I'm sorry, wanna bail? on his arm like she used to when they were younger and didn't want her mom or Aunt Cyndi to hear them.

Jocelynn sat back in her seat quietly watching the bottle spin around and around feeling more out of place the more it spun. She was glad it hadn't hit her yet and hoped it didn't. She wasn't very interested in kissing and dating like everyone else was and she thought this event was going to be a much different affair. She spent most of the time side glaring at her sister who dragged her here and the rest glaring at the bottle to not land on her.

A small grin crossed his face as Jemma began tracing a word on his arm. He recognized what she was doing immediately and paid attention. Thinking about it for a minute, Jacob gave a slight shake of his head before moving to trace on her arm, I wanna but Diana. He picked up his head and made a face. He'd told Jemma all about their grudge because he still told Jemma everything. He couldn't bail on the game now that he knew Diana was leading it. She'd probably never let him hear the end of it and figured she would say something along the lines of him not having been invited anyway. He couldn't give her that satisfaction. He'd stay.

the next few minutes of spin the bottle were interesting. it started when a boy walking in, turning around and walking back out again. she didn't know who he was. but it seemed like there was a story there somewhere that he didn't know. she tried to think what h knew but didn't come up with anything.
the next point of interest was Jacob asked who the guy they had both kissed was. "I don't think I have ever seen him before" she whispered back. which probably wasn't very helpful. Thankfully fleurs answer was a little more useful. saying that he was a fourth-year Hufflepuff. she would have to ask Chante about him. when she next saw her. she hadn't seen her for a while and was pretty sure that she had found somewhere willow didn't know about to hang out.
the next interesting thing was that the bottle landed on sapphire. and all of a sudden onyx was there taking her place "did anyone see him come in" she whispered to her friends. she certainly hadn't. however, before there was time for anyone to respond the bottle, was pointed to fleur and she and onyx kissed. and fleur was off to kiss a Slytherin girl in her year. She watched wondering if fleur had kissed someone before or if like her these were her first two kisses."how was that" she whispered once her fellow redhead was back beside her.

Ana watched as the game unfolded in front of her. It was a weird thought that girls could kiss girls on the lips and Ana was glad that she wasn't one of the first people the bottle had landed on. She didn't want to have to kiss anyone on the lips, unless they were a cute boy, and Ana found it peculiar that some of the girls kissing girls actually seemed to enjoy the game. Some people however felt more comfortable kissing people on the cheek and this seemed like such a more reasonable choice. As the bottle finally landed on the Slytherin she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, realising that the person on the other side was a girl. The older girl crept closer to her and Ana could feel herself become tense as she looked her in the eyes. "Uhh you can just kiss me on the cheek." she told her bluntly, letting her do just that. As the girl made her way back Ana picked up the bottle tentatively before spinning it, cringing as it landed on another girl. Sighing, Ana made her way over to the Gryffindor. "Please just make this quick, whatever you do." Ana muttered to her.
@Willow Cullen

Before fleur was able to answer her question the bottle was spun and pointing at Willow again. the same girl who fleur had kissed was in front of her looking scared asking to make it quick. willow smiled. "no worries," she said giving her a light peck on the cheek it made sense as the girl had asked for a cheek kiss off fleur. hang on, isn't she meant to be the one kissing me willow thought. not that she cared. she had reached that state of brazenness that she didn't care. next, she spun and as the bottle came to a stop she couldn't help but smirk. as it landed on the girl who had chided her and Jacob earlier. she got up and walked over a wicked smile playing on her lips. she leaned forward and kissed the girl straight on the lips. she moved back and smiled at her then returned to her seat raising an eyebrow at Jacob on the way back. to be honest, the girl seemed okay, nice even, but for the duration for the game, she would be the adversary.

Wendy hadn't been paying much close attention to the game as it took off. She daze out blaming on the atmosphere of the room, the low dim flicking candles in the dark and sitting on cushion pillows made it relaxing. If she wasn't taking part of the game, Wendy would be laying out on those pillows drifting off to a lovely afternoon nap. If the room was empty that would be feasible, Wendy would only daze for a minute there before she pulled back into the game. Wendy caught the end of the bottle spinning and it landing at her direction. Wendy was shocked left almost at lost for words when Willow's lips smacked against her own, the redhead never giving her a fair warning before she kissed her. "Did you enjoy yourself?" Wendy couldn't help to chime in, her lips twitching at the corner of her mouth. Wendy tapped her own plump lips, this wasn't her first kiss. A friend back home had been her first kiss, it was her first kiss with someone of magic blood and a girl too. Tracy Bell should not hear about this, or whoever was next. Wendy took the bottle and spun it like the others had done before her. The bottle spun like a wheel and landed on fairly, pretty brunette. In this dim lighting, Wendy couldn't tell. She stepped up and gave the girl options to decide on. "Lips or cheeks?"

@Kinsey Wilde

Kinsey hadn't been paying extremely close attention to the game until she felt eyes land on her. She looked down at the bottle which was pointed at her. She didn't know who had spun the bottle but her cheeks became hot at the prospect of kissing someone for the first time. She heard a voice speaking to her and followed the sound to a really pretty girl. She felt intimidated by her but she didn't want to seem like a wet blanket so instead of going for the conservative response Kinsey just moved in closer to the girl and moved to have their lips meet but didn't push herself on the girl. She only hoped that it would be reciprocal otherwise she could move in for the cheek kiss.

After their kiss Kinsey moved back to spin the bottle herself. She watched it move until it landed facing a red headed girl. She was just as pretty as the girl she had her first non-platonic kiss with. But in a different way. It was really confusing to Kinsey who had never really thought about people in this sort of way either. She shrugged her shoulder indicating to the girl that she didn't care however they kissed. She was pretending that it wasn't a new idea to the girl because she didn't want to seem so inexperienced as she truly was. After getting a response from the girl, Winnie, the two briefly kissed on the lips and she sat back down with cheeks bright red at this point.

@Winnie Marsh (godmod approved by Anna)

Winnie was excited about spin the bottle at first, eager to get to know new people and support Diana, but as the game dragged on and the bottle repeatedly landed on anyone but her, Winnie grew annoyed, questioning why she was there at all if she wasn't able to participate. Her posture slumped as she watched the other people in the room continue to spin the bottle and kiss each other, finding everything less exciting as each moment passed. Even an appearance by one of the weird twins, likely the one Diana used to date, to the room wasn't enough to entertain her, and as the boy left as soon as he arrived Winnie barely batted an eyelash when she otherwise would have stared daggers through him. She was so discouraged that when the bottle finally did land on her and one of the girls she shared a dorm with moved closer she almost thought it landed on someone else. But when the girl shrugged Winnie realized it was indeed her turn.
With her shoulders squared again, Winnie nodded in response and quickly kissed the girl on the lips, pulling away a moment later with a smile on her face. "Alright, let's see who's next." Winnie said as she reached out to spin the bottle herself, suddenly more interested in the game now that she had been involved. It landed on Kira, another girl Winnie shared a dorm with which pleased her, it was nice to have the chance to kiss people she at least knew a little bit. "Cheeks, lips, its your choice." Winnie said after she made her way over to Kira, not minding where the kiss went as long as it happened.
@Kira Wolf

Kira was surprised and a little disappointed when her best friend left her there. At least she wasn't alone. She scooted closer to Onyx, holding his hand. Her heart beat rapidly with each spin of the bottle. It wasn't long before it landed on her again. She swallowed. She couldn't rely on Sapphire for everything, right? Taking a deep breath, she leaned forward and pressed a brief kiss to Winnie's lips. She had been kissed by Lauryn, so it wasn't the first time she'd kissed a girl. And Winnie was her friend... sort of. She gave Winnie a small smile. With a calming breath, she spun the bottle again.

She blushed terribly as the bottle landed on an unbelievably cute boy. She recognized him. It took her a moment to place him, but her blush deepened even more as she did. Arvel Ayers. She knew him from her friends' stories. Sapphire said he was a sweet guy. Onyx liked him, but was afraid to talk to him. She even heard Nyx's breath catch when he noticed who she got. She took a deep breath and walked over, giving him a shy smile. "Hello," She murmured softly. She wasn't sure what would happen next.

@Arvel Ayers

Fleur had no time to answer Willow's question before the bottle landed on her. She laughed softly as then the bottle landed on the girl Willow had been arguing with a bit earlier, though it seemed like a smooch fixed a lot of that. Once the younger girl returned to her side, Fleur shrugged. "It was fine, not groundbreaking." She whispered. "What about kissing that Hufflepuff?" She asked her with a small smile.

willow smiled as the girl she had kissed asked if she had enjoyed herself. "it was worth loosing five knuts over" she said a slight chuckle in her voice. that wasn't quite true. or rather it had ben worth losing five knuts over but she wasn't sure if she would be. she had bet Jacob that he would kiss her. and he hadn't accepted the bet and it hadn't mentioned what would happen if she kissed her. but even if she had to pay Jacob five knuts the fun had been worth it. as she returned to her seat fleur answered her question from before and sne nodded. she understood that feeling. however, as the question was returned to her she smiled. "It was all good fun" she said. it was fun in the sense of playing a game. not really anything groundbreaking, and kissing girls was not something she could see herself doing on a regular basis. but she had reached the state of brazenness when anything could be seen as good fun.
she watched as the bottle spun again and landed on a Ravenclaw in her year called Kinsey. she was glad to see that the girl was looking slightly less hairy than last time they had met during the duelling tournament when she had managed to hit her with the hair growing hex. which sounded worse than it was especially as she had then been hit by a boil hex and had had to go to the hospital wing for the antidote. she watched as the bottle circled around the Ravenclaw third years. she looked around the circle to try and see who had not been selected and was a little surprised when she realised that almost everyone had gone once. she was one of only two people, well now rapidly increasing number of people who had been kissed twice. she looked around again trying to figure out who hadn't been kissed, there was a gryffindor fourth year, Jocelyn something, acacia, a Hufflepuff in her year, and a guy who she was pretty sure she had seen on the ravenclaw quidditch team but didn't know much more about.

Athena had heard from this game spin the bottle, but she forgot the time with studying. She knew that Jemma went and Willow too. Athena changed her clothes quickly after studying and looked at the inventation again. She walked in the classroom and smiled to people who were looking, why the hell she was so late. And yes she was. '' Sorry! Forgot the time.'' She than said grinning and went sitting quietly. A Ravenclaw girl seemed to be spinning the bottle and she went sitting next to some familliar gryffindors as Willow. She noticed Jacob also and Jemma. This seemed exciting. But she noticed Derek too, but no Emilia? That suprised her a bit. They seemed to go together to everything lately. Athena liked games, and this way she could meet more people.

Arvel watched quietly as the game progressed, not too sad that the bottle hadn't landed again on him. Kissing Simon hadn't helped him get over his aversion to kissing people he wasn't attracted to - though that might have been because Simon was cute. Arvel was daydreaming about this when he realised Kira was walking over to him. He swallowed down the lump in his throat. The odds of having to kiss a girl were high, but he'd still hoped he wouldn't have to. Somehow, kissing girls seemed more embarrassing. But he'd kissed Maggie on the lips, and he'd kissed Simon on the lips, so he couldn't really kiss Kira on the cheek - it might make her feel bad. Closing the gap between them, he gave her a quick peck, feeling a bit like he was sharing Winnie's germs as well. He definitely didn't enjoy it as much as kissing Simon. It was his turn again, so he gave the bottle a firm spin. It did several full spins and then stopped on himself. Blushing, he spun again. He thought it was about to stop on him a second time, but it went just a little further and landed on Analei. Horror surged through him. It wasn't that he didn't want to kiss Analei, but... she was his friend! It was weird! He looked at her, wondering what to do, whether she would make the move, or even if she would refuse to kiss him. That would be awful.

Diana watched the game progress, smiling a little. She was annoyed that she hadn't gotten a second turn yet, but wasn't going to show it. She watched as Kira's bottle landed on Arvel, smirking slightly at how awkward he was about it. Then he spun the bottle as well, and when it landed on Analei, Diana couldn't quite hold back a giggle. It was clearly audible in the room, but she didn't care. It was funny.

A lot seemed to have happened in the few moments that Edmund had left, and Analei was surprised to see that the Slytherin girl - Sapphire - had left and been replaced by another boy. The kissing game continued, but Analei was fast growing bored and impatient, though she supposed that the people that hadn't had a go yet were feeling even moreso than her. However, a girl finally spun on Arvel again, so she could at least get invested in who he was going to kiss. She didn't know the girl that came over, but she seemed sweet enough. Analei was glad it wasn't Nixon again. Analei held her breath when Arvel spun again, praying that the bottle didn't land on the four people she hated there, giggling when it landed back on himself, and again smiling when it looked like it was going to land on him again. But it went just a bit further, and her smile disappeared quickly when it landed on her. Why hadn't she thought of this? There were so many people there was such a small chance she'd have to kiss Arvel...but he was her best friend and this was weird. Analei looked at him, and bit her lip, unsure. Was her first boy kiss about to be with him? But hearing a giggle that she was sure was Diana's, Analei leaned forward and placed her lips on Arvel's. She wondered if it was because of the nerves, or the fact that he was a boy, but this felt a lot nicer than kissing a girl. This one felt like a proper kiss.
Analei moved back, and avoided eye contact with everyone, especially Arvel, focusing instead on the bottle as she moved forward to spin it. She didn't even pay much attention to it spinning, her mind thoroughly confused and embarrassed that she had to kiss Arvel that when the bottle slowed she realized she hadn't even panicked about who it was going to land on. Analei hoped it would be a boy - just to prove to herself and everyone else that she only felt flushed because she had kissed a boy, and not just because the boy was Arvel. He was her best friend for goodness sake! But she lifted her eyes to see it had landed on one of her dorm mates. Acacia. She didn't know the girl very well but hoped that this wouldn't make any attempts at being friends awkward. Analei made her way over to the girl, not sure whether she'd rather a cheek kiss or not.
@Acacia Dunn

As the game went on and on, Acacia was beginning to feel more and more silly for having come. The bottle seemed to be missing her on every turn, and if she didn't feel obligated to keep a firm eye on Derek, she would almost be tempted to leave early, something Acacia had never done at a party before. She had come hoping to make some new friends, but as had been the case ever since she had arrived at Hogwarts, Acacia felt like an outsider. Everyone seemed to know each other, sitting with friends and whispering, and she felt disconnected from the dramas surrounding who was kissing who. Acacia regretted not making more friends with these people, feeling almost like she shouldn't have come after all, a feeling she had never experienced back home.

That all changed though, when the bottle landed in her direction. Acacia almost hadn't been paying any attention anymore, only really half focusing to make sure Derek didn't kiss anyone, and it took her a moment to realise why she was being approached. This was it, her first kiss. It being with someone she knew was strangely unexpected, but Acacia was ready, eyes lingering on Analei's lips for a moment before she leaned in to kiss her gently. Her heart fluttered slightly at the feeling, and Acacia had to remind herself not to linger, pulling back with a nervous smile at Analei. And then it was her turn to spin, and Acacia looked down, trying not to think too much. She didn't know anyone well enough to have anyone specific she wanted the bottle to land on, but when she looked up and saw that it was pointing to a boy, her heart sank slightly. One of the things Acacia had wanted to figure out today was why she had been finding her gaze lingering on girls more and more recently, and this instinctive disappointment went a long way towards answering that question. Acacia wanted to give him a fair shot though and moved over to the older boy, waiting for him to indicate what he wanted. After getting the go-ahead she pressed her lips to his, pulling away quickly with more certainty in her mind. That had definitely felt different, and Acacia had a lot to think about as she sat back down, preoccupied with her own thoughts.
@Nixon Mercury
((Godmod approved!))

Nixon reminded himself spin the bottle was a game, and the more he remembered how the ultimate point of a game was to have fun, the less he cared about the events unfolding as it continued. In the grand scheme of things kissing meant nothing and he was there to experience the thrill of it all; focusing on who was kissing who or who he wanted to kiss over anyone else would make the game heavier and more serious than it needed to be. When the bottle finally landed on him again, Nixon smiled at the girl that approached him, looking to her lips to show it was fine for her to kiss him properly, and after quickly returning the kiss she gave he sat back down, moving his hand to the bottle to spin it again. He watched intently, feeling his heart stop when the bottle landed on Arvel. In the moment it was difficult not to care about the game anymore in the same way he had been, feeling as if his spin was a cruel twist of fate, but he still attempted to seem unbothered as he moved over to Arvel. Not sure of how to initiate the kiss, Nixon stared at Arvel and shrugged, wanting to show Arvel he had the choice in what happened.

Analei's lips on Arvel's felt... strangely nice. Arvel hadn't thought he could enjoy kissing a girl - it was the boys, mostly, who caught his eye - but there was undeniably a flutter in his chest. He blushed fiercely as she pulled away, and looked down to hide his face. Of course, just the act of looking down made it obvious for everybody in the room that he was feeling embarrassed. He couldn't like Analei like that. He didn't want to. She was his friend. They lamented to one another about boy problems. Thinking about her in any other way made him feel weird and uncomfortable. He was still thinking about this when suddenly the bottle landed on him again. Arvel felt his stomach drop. Five minutes ago, he wouldn't have minded kissing Nixon, but after Analei it just felt odd. Yet as Nixon came close, Arvel felt long-buried feelings rise inexorably within him, so that when he leaned forward to kiss Nixon on the lips he did so with a little more enthusiasm than he meant to show. His face might as well have been stained permanently crimson. It was his turn yet again, and, starting to wish he hadn't come, he spun the bottle. It landed on a girl he didn't recognise, perhaps because she wasn't in his year. Well - this would be an interesting experiment. He stood up and crossed the room to meet her, pausing to give her the opportunity to choose what sort of kiss she wanted.
@Jocelynn Moors

Jocelynn watched as the kissing went on fighting her on urge to get up and leave the room. She didn't want anyone to think badly of her but she also was excited about this. She watched Nixon boy after girl after boy, he seemed to be rolled plenty of times and she wondered briefly how her sister was feeling about it. She knew Mars had a crush and hoped it would fizzle out soon, Nixon wasn't worth that sort of attention. He was starting to remind her of boy crazy over dating. Her sister deserved a guy who would be able to put his focus on just her and not other people he could go to dances with and things like that. Jocelynn liked Nixon but he was turning into a guy she wasn't really sure she could remain friends with, especially now that he'd gone and kissed her sister. Surprise really hit her when she was spun by a boy in the year below her. She really hadn't spent a moment while sitting there thinking of what she'd do when she was spun. Having spent most her time trying to plan an escape instead. She looked at the boy, he wasn't bad looking but she didn't really feel the need to kiss him or anyone there. In her quick thinking she held the back of her hand up to his lips, having him kiss her hand. It was her turn to spin the bottle and lucky for her it landed on Fleur, her housemate and friend. She went to her friend her intention to take her friend's hand and kiss it as well.
@Fleur van Houten

Jacob overheard Willow and smirked. He hadn't had to kiss the girl but she had, and he realized it was a missed opportunity on his part to not have bet. As the game continued, Jacob found himself following along passively as he wrote some more notes on Jemma's arm. Look at him blush was the latest as he waited to see who Arvel would land on. It was a Gryffindor, though he didn't know her name. When she held up her hand for a kiss, Jacob let out a small boo. She'd chickened out and he wanted to share his disapproval.

Athena watched the game continue. And a lot happend in a short time. She was a bit suprised by Analei and Arvel. The two always seemed to be together as friend, but now it seemed really cute this kiss. She smiled at Willow who already had to play. It was fun to see this, but she hoped no people would get hurt or things would go bad. But a kiss was just innocent? Athena never had kissed before. She wondered how it felt.
