Hufflepuff Practice Y43 S1

Veronique tried to block Renata's shot but somehow went the wrong direction, allowing for the quaffle to easily sail through the hoops. She gave Renata a fake smile before cursing under her breath.

Jordie would be the first to admit he wasn't really on his game today, just following after the others. But he knew he needed to pull out of it. He smiled at the others as he flew in and took the ball, starting back around towards the other keeper.

Leonardo followed Jordie as he caught the ball.

Jordie wasn't surprised when he missed, offering a shaky smile and looking to see who'd grab it next.

Chase missed another bludger.

Leonardo caught the ball as it was thrown back out after Jordie's attempt.

Rene was pondering if he could give the chasers some sort of advice about formations or passing, but it'd been years since he'd played as a chaser himself and then he had to duck away from a bludger and the thought was gone for the moment as Rene steadied his broom.

Leonardo rapidly approached the hoops and tossed the ball, pleased when it went in.

Chase groaned when he missed another bludger. He just wanted to hit things.

Zagreus hovered in place in front of the hoops, silently wishing practice would be in much nicer conditions next time around.

Scrunching his nose, Fin grabbed the quaffle himself when no one else went for it.

Veronique unsuccessfully tried to block Leo’s attempt at scoring, trying to shake it off and keep going.

Felix was still catching his breath but he continued to search.

Finley attempted another shot, but huffed when the poor visibility made him miscalculate the distance.

Penny was starting to feel miserable. The drizzle was no fun to fly in and she still hadn't seen the snitch.

Chased missed another bludger.

Felix kept looking.

Veronique watched as another chaser tried to score on the other side and saw it be blocked, wishing she could have been able to do that.

Chase did not hit a bludger.

Leonardo caught the ball after Finley's attempt to score.

Rene felt his bat slip as he took a swing at a bludger, sending it harmlessly backwards and away from where he was aiming. He just hoped the weather would be better for their first game.

Zagreus stayed ready in front of the hoops, determined to try and save more.

Chase was getting a little annoyed with the weather, almost tempted to just touch back down onto the ground and call it a day but he knew he couldn't.

Penelope sighed, still no sign of the snitch.

Renata fiddled with her hair, sitting back for a bit and thinking about how to boost morale in this lousy weather.
