It had been a busy few days for Jacob but he was actually feeling pretty excited about the year to come. He wanted to make the most of it too, especially since it was his last year in the castle. The teen had sent out messages to all of his teammates with practice times so he expected them any minute now. The teen had already set up, pulling out some practice brooms as he was unsure if some of the newer players had used them during tryouts. Seated on the grass, Jacob was busy stretching as he waited for everyone to arrive.

OOCOut of Character:
I'll give about two days for arrivals before I officially begin practice!

Noel was ready for an new Quidditch season. He had faith in Gryffindor and now Liam and Leda were gone it was perhaps an new start and he hoped they made a good chance. Also it was Jacob his last year as their captain so it would be an nice gift. He would try his best to combine quidditch with study and friends. The brown haired boy walked to the pitch to practice and noticing that he was the first. He smiled to Jacob and had his broom in his hands. '' Hey Jacob. How are things? Last year will be the best right for us?'' He than said with an grin and was excited to start. He just wanted to win badly with the best house. And waited for the rest to show up as well.

Sully was amped for Quidditch this year. He'd finally managed a starter spot on the team, and even better, had Chloë, Knox, and Noel as his fellow chasers. Spotting Noel already on the pitch, Sully sprinted the last few metres over them wrapping an arm excitedly around Noel's shoulders and giving him an enthusiastic shake. "Noel! Chaser squad gonna crush it this year," He said with a wide grin, giving Jacob a wave hello in greeting with the arm that was now somewhat wrapped around Noel's neck. He was eager to get up in the air though, releasing Noel after a moment to do a few impatient stretches like Jacob so he could be warmed up enough to kick off.

Emma was thrilled to attend practice today. It was a shame she hadn't been on the team last year along with Fleur, but she was here now and could make her sister proud. Wearing her brand new Quidditch robes, she rushed to the pitch and grinned at the people gathered there. She moved closer to Sully, giving him a winning smile. "Hi!" She said brightly. "I'm so excited for practice. I bet it will be wonderful!" She said, wishing she had something more clever or funny to say.

Chloë had been absolutely thrilled to gain a position on the quidditch team. Confident as she was though, she still couldn't help but to feel slightly nervous as she was heading over towards her first practice. She hadn't played last year like most of the others and to be put in a starter position felt like a huge responsibility. Her nerves slowly started to settle when she got closer to the pitch and spotted Noel and Sully already there. She had been happy to know who her fellow chasers were, hoping that their friendship would gain them some sort of advantage in their team play. "Hi guys!" She greeted the others excitedly with a little wave and shot their captain and Emma a bright smile, before taking a stand close to her friends.

Christian was looking forward to Quidditch starting, and was hoping for a successful year. He made his way down to the pitch for the first practice of the year, a few of his teammates were already on the pitch when he arrived, Christian headed straight to greet the captain. "Hey Jacob, I've got a good feeling about our chances this year,"

Lysander was still reeling from Jacob's private announcement to him and Sierra. Everything Emma had been saying to him about them made so much sense, but he still couldn't believe he was being asked to lead, too! Out of everyone on the team, even all the older kids. It was amazing, and he felt quite proud of himself. There was an extra pep to his step as he marched down to the Quidditch pitch, and he quickly joined his friends while they waited. "Chaser squads got nothing on Beater squad!" Sander challenged Sully playfully. If the beaters could play amazingly like Slytherin had against Beauxbatons, then they could win without anyone even having to score! He was excited for Emma to finally be on the team, and it was even better now that she'd moved away from wanting to be a seeker. He didn't want to see Jacob go, but having his best friend hopefully take his spot was something he could look forward to.

Willow made his way to the quidditch pitch. it was their last year, it was her last chance to win. she looked at the team. she was excited about this season. she reached the pitch and saw that most of the team was there already. "Hey Guys" she said as she reached the group there were quite a few new players and she was looking forward to the practice to put them through their paces. though this year she would not be doing a wronsky feint. she didn't want to send her teammate to the hospital wing like she did last year.
She smiled as sully said that the chasers were going to be the best and chuckled as sander said that the beaters were best. "Actually guys. I think you will find the seeker squad is the best, isn't that right Sierra " she said teasing the boys. and looking at the other seeker. maybe she, as a seventh year should be a bit more mature about things however she was in the mood for a bit of banter. and apparently she wasn't mature enough to be head girl so maybe she was excused for having a bit of fun.
@Sierra Woodlock

Sully gave Fleur's little sister a returning grin when she greeted him. "Sure," He said vaguely to her, quickly distracted by Lysander and Willow's posturing. "Oh bring it," He called to the other players, making to drag Chloë over into his makeshift huddle with Noel. "Bet we can manage more goals than you can hit bludgers. Or snitches or whatever," He said confidently.

As Sierra arrived at the Quidditch Pitch, she laughed to see that there was already friendly rivalry happening. "Yes! Seekers are the best!" She cheered in response to Willow. She was glad that she had Willow to help train her, she definitely was one of the better seekers in the school. She 'pfffted' Christian's comment, but gave him a grin. "You're pretty alright."

Knox was only an alternate chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team, but he was proud of himself for his try out being good enough to give him any place at all, and eager to be part of something that solidified his return to Hogwarts. In being on the team, he was truly part of something, and he wanted to make the most of it, showing up to the first Gryffindor practice with a spring in his step. Regardless if he would be asked to play or not, he wanted to be there to experience a practice, and to see what everyone else on the team had to offer, and how he could use their cues to improve his own playing. Approaching the small group on the pitch, Knox stood near Sully, and then smiled to the teammates nearby before focusing on the captain as he waited to hear what would happen next.

Jacob chuckled at the banter between the players. He genuinely liked the members of the team and thought they all seemed to like each other as well. It was nice, and he found that it helped them practice better and play better. "Ok" Jacob stated as he stood up ,giving a small clap. "Let's get started. Let's split off into teams for the first part of practice and then later we'll do some speed drills. " Jacob took a look around.

"Ok, Team Scarlet will be Lysander and Emma, Sierra, Chloe, and Knox. Team Gold is Willow, Noel, Solomon, and me. Christian, you're team Gryffindor. Just try to stop us all. " He gave the Keeper a smile before continuing. "Ok, let's get to it. Jacob moved to the Gryffindor practice trunk and released all of the balls, tucked the quaffle under his arm and then tossed it up into the air so they could get started.

Sully was keen to get into the practice, ready to show off that team chaser was the most solid team. "Team Gold for first," He called, shooting into the air after Jacob released the balls and scooping up the quaffle. It was a shame Knox and Chloë were technically now on another 'team', but he had Noel and they were gonna crush it together.

Lysander held his hand up for a high-five when he heard Emma was on his team, and quickly took to the sky to pursue one of the released bludgers. "Let's go, Scarlet!" He whooped, motivated to try and hit more bludgers than the chasers could score goals.

Keeping an eye on where Noel and the Team Scarlet chasers were as he flew, Sully shot down the field towards the goal, hoping to take Christian by surprise.

Jacob grinned as Team Gold took possession. He swung at a bludger but only succeeded in moving it away from himself.

Willow listened as Jacob slot the team she was a little surprised to be on the same team as the captain. She wasn’t sure why she was surprised. She’sTook her wand out and changed the colour of her training from red toGold does anyone else want colour changing? sheOffered before She mounted her broom woo go gold she called as she kicked off then did a lap of the pitch to get a feel for the conditions.

Too impatient to wait to get close enough to Noel for a pass, Sully shot towards the goal, chucking the quaffle to the center hoop. His shot was blocked though and Sully scrunched up his face in disappointment. "Next one," He told Noel confidently, flying back into position ready to chase after the Scarlet chasers.

Lysander raced forward to swing his bat towards a bludger and send it rocketing away, though it ended up nowhere near any of the Gold members.

team gold

Willow kept flying. Letting an eye out for the snitch. But there was no sight of the pesky gold ball. She saw sully approach the goals and miss too bad sully. Well saved cade” she called before returning to her search.

Eager to get the practice started, and happy he was able to play with his teammates, Knox excitedly picked up a broom from the ground, and flew into the air shortly after Jacob tossed the quaffle. Too slow on the uptake to immediately take possession of the quaffle, Knox settled with chasing after Sully instead, following him along the pitch and looking for an opening to intercept. He wasn’t fast enough to intercept before Sully made an attempt at a goal, though luckily it was saved and Knox was in the right place to catch the quaffle as it was thrown back into the game. With the quaffle now tucked under his arm, Knox turned to fly a lap around the pitch, hoping that he would be given a chance to attempt a goal for team Scarlet.

Sully gave a quick whoop when Knox scooped up the quaffle, following after him closely, more to be a nuisance than really try to gain possession. "Knox, Knox, Knox, pass it. Pass it here," He chirped, seeing if he could trick his roommate but giving himself away almost immediately by laughing.

As Knox took possession of the quaffle, Lysander turned his broom around to follow after him, in case any opposing bludgers came his way. He stuck out his tongue playfully at Sully, and attempted to squeeze between him and the scarlet chaser.

Focused on flying and not losing the quaffle, Knox tried not to get distracted. Though he couldn’t help but turn his head when he heard Sully’s voice next to him, trying to convince him to pass the quaffle over. Smiling as one of the beaters got between them, Knox also stuck his tongue out at Sully and swerved away, before he sped back towards the hoops. With the keeper in his line of sight, Knox flew as close as possible to the hoops, before throwing the quaffle into the furthest hoop with all his might. It was unfortunately saved, and Knox swore under his breath, laughing at himself a little as he turned around, preparing to chase whoever caught the quaffle when it was thrown back into play.
