Hello, and welcome to the Biweekly Update. Your fortnightly source of information on the goings on on the site. While it is rare to have a quiet fortnight this week, there seems to be a lot going on. So, without further ado, let's get to it.

Week 5
I say this every time. But where has the semester gone? It is week five already. Make sure you are getting classes posted and marked. A reminder to professors. If you are struggling to get things done, don't hesitate to reach out to staff.

Love is in the Air
Even with the valentines dance closing, there is still a lot of love going on around the site.
Maddam Puddifoots is running a speed dating event—a big thank you to Kiersten for organising.
The minister is organising a valentines event at the mall, which includes a traffic light party at the medley. come and join in the fun dance the night away and maybe meet someone special.

CAC Showcase
The conglomerated arts club is hosting a showcase where students have the opportunity to show their creative side through music, dance drama and other performative arts. Watch the show here, or join the audience here

Duelling
The duelling tournament is over. A huge thank you to Ana for organising and to Kaitlyn, Camilla, and Kris for offering their professors as proctors. Congratulations to our winners

Quidditch
The last of the domestic games is over, with Slytherin beating Ravenclaw 150:10 in a very injury-free game (I bet the school nurses are glad). Next up, Slytherin will host Beauxbattons for ultimate victory.

Spotlight
Congratulations to Keirsten and her account @Tempest Vero for being this month's spotlighted Character. A very well-deserved award. I am sure Tempest is someone to keep an eye on as she progresses through the school.

Shopkeeper Reminder
With the year ending, here is a reminder to shopkeepers to spring (Autumn?) clean their stores. Sort out their inventory and ensure that they have enough staff for the busy back-to-school season. If you are a shopkeeper who no longer wants their store, then please let the staff know.

Raffle
With the changing of seasons comes the closing of the Winter/Summer Raffle. Congratulations to the winners Samantha Jacobs and Professor Sarah Harrington who will get snowflakey and sunny icons next to their names. Thank you to all who entered

Movie 7
Nick has almost finished the movie rewatch. Come and join in on the fun for Deathly Hallows Part 1. and join the search for the hallows.

• Not So Magical: Where two muggleborns talk about the cons of being part of the magical world and its effects on muggle friendships and family.
• A Boys Night Out: Linden and Casper go out for a fancy date. They both have an important question to ask, but neither knows how to broach the topic. The question is, who will ask first?
  • Celebrations of us: Casper and Linden decorate Casper's apartment for Christmas. Cas has an important question and a small gift for Lin, but it is not what is expected.
  • Two hearts in the forest: Linden starts to think about the future
  • A Question of Brunch: Linden takes Martene out for brunch and asks her a question
  • Deep Talks: Casper has a question for Briar and seeks some reassurance
  • Secrets Between Siblings: Ivy has a hiding spot in her room, the perfect place for her brother to keep a ring until needed
• It's Okay To Be Vindictive, Sometimes: Celia and Aine, some of the two most opinionated people at Hogwarts, complain about the lack of standards at school.
• All On The Table: Lauren's biological father is gonna come out soon from Azkaban. And that worries Lauren after all she has been through. Feeling the need to be completly honest and thinking of her sibling. She opens up to Landon, putting her complete trust in him. An action which will have consequences she knows.
