Hello, everyone. Welcome to the next BWU, and it is a good one we have had a lot of things this last two weeks, and there is some very egg-citing stuff on the way. I don't know how it is there, but here the seasons are starting to change here, and it is the perfect time to settle down with a cup of tea and a biscuit and read the latest update (and maybe a few RPs).
Week 3
Firstly, the most shocking thing in this update. It is week three already
. I am still wondering how.
Love is in the air
If you haven't noticed all of the pink threads around the site, I am not sure where you have been hiding. We are in IC February, and there is love in the air on the site. This year Rose deliveries are back. There are over 270 roses being delivered throughout the school. so plenty of fun threads to lurk on and a lot of different reactions to receiving and giving roses. A big thank you to Kris, Kadi, Arle and Camilla for organising and for everyone volunteering to deliver flowers. Please try and get threads wrapped up or at least get the notes posted so people can see them. The directory of threads can be found here
And of course, with February comes the valentines dance. Enjoy time with that special someone, or fly solo and see what happens. Love, drama, and heartache. Anything is possible
Quidditch
Slytherin beat Ravenclaw 170:20 in the first quidditch match of the season was short yet intense, with each team getting two goals and a seeker being hit out all before the final whistle. Even though the game is over, you can still read the match, react to it in the stands, and the OOC discussion
Next up, Hufflepuff will take on Gryffindor for first place. Check the calendar for the date. Good luck, teams.
Club Events
With so much going on in the school, it is hard to keep track of things.
The SDA is into their second round of the duelling tournament check the Fixtures here and cheer on your friends. Or just watch for inspiration
The Brotherhood and Heta Omega are teaming up to bring speed dating. Sign-ups are open until 8th April and can be found here. The event will be held during brightstone weekend.
Keep your eye out for the Wild patch and Conglomberated arts club events coming soon.
Whoo. that was a lot to take in. things have been busy. A little personal thank you to everyone who had been involved in the site-wide events. It is great to see things so active, and events couldn't run without you all
This is your fortnightly reminder to step outside into somewhere peaceful and take a few deep breaths. have a few minutes for yourself to relax.

As the year is drawing to an end, Accio threads (other than valentines dance) will be closing very soon. Make sure to post your pictures to be in the yearbook.
Spotlight
Congratulations to Jess for being awarded this month's spotlighted character. Jordan Harris is certainly well deserving of the recognition. Head over to the announcement and see jess' questionnaire here
Reminder
There has been a lot going on the site recently, a lot of threads that people have wanted to get through quickly, such as old School and roses however; this doesn't mean that the site rules should be disregarded. There is a friendly reminder to be mindful when you post. Be careful of unintentional god-modding. As per the site rules, "You may control your character and nobody else's. You may not determine another person's character's actions without their explicit permission".
If you think it may be god-modding or invading someone else's personal boundaries, either check with the RPer prior to posting or leave it with enough space for the other character to react their own way.
