Y39 Slytherin Practice S1

Ruben kept looking for the snitch, Blake would surely have caught it by now. How could he ever expect to win against other teams if he couldn't even find the stupid snitch during practice?
 
Celia was hoping to go four for four with the chasers, so she smacked a nearby bludger at @Indira Khatri. She smiled when it made contact and gave her bat a twirl before flying off to find her next bludger. Just two people left to hit.
 
Eleanor pursed her lips as she saw another missed shot. She caught the quaffle after it was thrown back into play and quickly tucked it under her arm.
 
Lucie was doing quite well blocking some shots as she had blocked quite a few now. She caught the quaffle as the chaser attempted to score, then threw it back into play.
 
Indi was just about to reach for the quaffle after Liusaidh's missed shot but was stopped short by a bludger hit. She glared at one of the new players who was responsible but she grit her teeth and kept moving. Not wanting to waste her time or look weak. It was just a bludger and she would be fine.
 
Ivelisse was getting a bit tired of the snitch being nowhere to be found.
 
Lucie could feel herself getting tired, but not tired enough to stop focusing. She wanted to block all of the shots she could.
 
Parker was still keeping up with the practice even if he started to feel even more and more tired.
 
Ruben was tired to search the snitch but not giving up anytime soon
 
Truth be told, Celia had put off aiming for Daintree since she didn't want to give him any ideas and provoke him into targeting her. But she also knew that the beaters in a real match wouldn't extend the same courtesy to her, so she might as well get some practice in now. She trailed a bludger for a few seconds before lobbing it at him, but it flew off and hit @Parker Reed instead.
 
Parker was still staying on tbe alert until he felt something break right in to his side. Parker quietly cried out before showing Celia thumbs up. "Good hit," tho it hurted a lot. This was the moment he was even more confused about what he was doing there.
 
Celia smiled at Parker, glad that at least one of her teammates could take a hit in stride. She tried to smack another bludger at Daintree, but this one flew off and hit @Eleanor Kingsley instead. She supposed she shouldn't be too annoyed since she was hitting people at least. But it'd be nice if the bludgers could hit her actual targets.
 
Ruben noticed everyone was getting hit, Calia was doing a pretty okay job, hopefully he could catch the snitch once more before she decided it was time to aim for him.
 
Celia wondered if her sudden burst of success was due to her teammates growing tired. She certainly hoped not. She liked to think she had gotten a better handle on batting the bludgers around since the start of practice. Hopefully she'd continue to make progress.

Natalia flew close to Eleanor and managed to take the quaffle from her. She grinned and then flew forward towards the hoops.

Ruben kept searching the snitch not sure when he was gonna find it.
 
Ivelisse was starting to get a little annoyed when she suddenly noticed a glimmer of gold near the stands. She quickly glanced sideways to see if Ruben had noticed it as well before pushing forward and heading straight for it. She chased the little ball around for a second before stretching her arm out as far as she could, content when she was able to wrap her fingers around it. “Got it!” She grinned as she held it up, making sure her teammates had seen before letting it go again.
 
Celia raised an eyebrow, more than a little impressed when she saw that Ivelisse had caught the snitch a third time, especially since it hadn't been that long since she'd hit the girl with a second bludger. Maybe Ruben needed a second bludger as motivation. Celia chased after one before slamming it in his direction. But once again, it switched directions and hit @Natalia Novak. She sighed and set off to find another one.
 
Ruben looked at Ivelisse and just thought 'ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!', this girl had the nerve to catch the snitch again. He smiled at her not letting his true emotions show, maybe this was what Blake felt during the first practice, it was just beginner's luck anyway.
 
Indi couldn't help but let out a dry laugh as Natalia stole the quaffle. Maybe she wasn't useless after all. She kept close on her tail to see if she might have a chance to steal it for herself.
 
Just as Natalia tried to score, the bludger hit her. It made her fumble and miss the goal completely.
 
Liusaidh grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out and began heading towards the hoops again.
 
Daintree spotted that the young seeker had catch the snitch again. He was very hopeful for their next game even if he was hitting nothing useful.
 
Eleanor followed Liusaidh as she took possession of the Quaffle.
 
As soon as Liusaidh was close enough she threw the ball hard and was then real happy when she actually managed to score again.
