Y39 Slytherin Practice S1

Ivelisse continued looking for the tiniest hint of gold, getting a little annoyed at how easy catching the snitch had been at the beginning of practice yet now it was nowhere to be found.

Ruben kept searching the snitch, he blamed winter break for being so out of shape.

Eleanor followed Natalie closely, looking for an opportunity to take the quaffle back into her possession. She wanted another chance at scoring especially since her last attempt had gone so poorly.

Ruben kept searching the snitch with no luck.

Indi felt a little better as Liusaidh finally missed a shot but let out a grunt of frustration as Natalia managed to block her and grabbed the quaffle next. Eleanor also seemed to be keeping but she still found a way to maneuver around her classmate and grabble the quaffle from her grip. "You're going to have to do better than that." she said smugly before flying away to try and make a goal of her own. @Natalia Novak

Indi approached the hoops quickly and again threw the ball with all her strength. But again it missed the mark and she girt her teeth so hard her jaw nearly cramped.

Ivelisse continued her search.

Liusaidh caught the ball as it was thrown back out. She had so far had the most success of the chasers but she wouldn't slack off now.

Daintree spotted a bludger racing towards him, he raised his beater bat and hit it hard, directly towards the new young seeker.
@Ivelisse Burleigh

Lucie had been doing well blocking the quaffle each time. She threw it back out and kept her ground as the game went on.

Celia was setting up her next shot against Ivelisse when she saw a different bludger hit the seeker. Frowning, she decided to switch targets. As much as she wanted to actually knock someone out, she knew it wouldn't help anyone to do that during a practice. Spotting @Eleanor Kingsley nearby, Celia slammed the bludger towards her, smiling when it made contact. It seemed that her aim was improving.

Ruben kept searching the snitch, this was starting to get ridiculous, where was that cursed snitch?

Ivelisse was a little annoyed the snitch still was a no show but didn’t have too much time to worry about that when a bludger slammed into her. She winced at the impact but tried to act like it wasn’t that big of a deal. Even when it hurt a lot worse than she had imagined.

A bludger came rushing towards her, and Celia just barely had enough time to lift her bat, letting the ball glance off the wood and spiral away. Scowling, she chased after the bludger.

Ivelisse was determined not to show how much the bludger hit hurt, she had to get used to that after all. Unfortunately, the snitch was still nowhere to be found.

Celia caught up with the bludger and tried to hit it towards Indira, but the ball soared harmlessly over her. Frowning, Celia flew off in search of another bludger. She wanted to land a hit against everyone on the team by the time practice was over.

Daintree was pleased on of the new beaters managed to hit another bludger. They were a strong team.

As soon as Liusaidh got close she threw the ball and swore loudly as she missed.

Ivelisse was starting to wonder if the snitch had just flew off and gone on a holiday.

Celia glanced at the seekers, trying to gauge if they had recovered enough from their bludger hits to take another one. But they were still struggling to find the snitch, so she decided to aim for a keeper instead. The bludger had other ideas, however, and swerved away from her target before flying through one of the hoops.

Ivelisse was starting to get a little tired of not being able to spot the stupid little thing but wasn’t going to give up.

Celia readied herself to hit another bludger, but it flew by so quickly that she wasn't able to land a solid hit. The ball continued on its original trajectory, seemingly unaffected by her efforts.

Natalia glared at Indi. She grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play, she wouldn't let it get stolen this time.

Ruben kept searching the snitch, the snitch could be good at hiding but he was the best at seeking.

It seemed like the team had hit a slump. The seekers were still searching for the snitch, and the chasers kept on missing their shots. At least that hopefully meant there was more room for Celia to shine. She caught up with a bludger and smacked it across the field, but it steered clear of the other players.
