Y39 Gryffindor Quidditch Practice S2

Flynn still felt a little sore, but he was finding it easier to push through the pain and kept his eyes peeled
 
Lysander swooped around, speeding up after a bludger while he sought out his next target.
 
Chloë caught the quaffle when Nikko threw it out after Sully made his shot, keen to get back to the other side of the pitch.
 
Isaiah swung his bat at another bludger, a little disappointed when he didn’t manage to hit anyone.
 
Flynn kept circling around and hoped the snitch would make an appearance soon.
 
Nikko let out a little cheer as Chloe scored and got ready as Sully started to come his way. But again Sully made it past him and he frowned. With a sigh he tossed the quaffle back into play and gave Chloe a thumbs up as she caught it again.
 
Chloë headed straight back for the hoops Ronald was guarding, not wanting to give Sully and Noel the possibility of stealing the quaffle. She looked back a few times to see how close they were. Once she reached the hoops she swerved, throwing the quaffle at the left hoop and watching it sail through.
 
Isaiah looked around for a bludger, itching to hit another one and show that he could.
 
After a little more flying around, his eyes finally zeroed in on something shiny. Zooming after it, he grinned as his fingers finally wrapped around the snitch for the first time. "Got it!"
 
Sully tried to stay hot on Chloë's tail as she took the quaffle again but he wasn't able to get up close enough to steal. He wasn't surprised when she made her own goal again, shaking his head fondly as he caught the quaffle from Ronald. He turned to head back down the pitch when he heard Flynn celebrating, glad to see he'd caught the snitch even if technically he was cheering for Elara today.
 
Nikko got ready as Sully grabbed the quaffle again and headed his way.
 
Lysander moved forward to strike a bludger at one of the other team members, but Flynn's snitch catch distracted him and his swing struck the bludger toward @Isaiah Thompson instead. "Heads up, Thompson!" He shouted in warning, in case the younger beater could manage to defend himself, though he realised how difficult it was to call out to the right Thompson. Having two on the team was going to become very confusing, very quickly.​
 
Sully kept an eye out for Noel as he moved forward, pausing just slightly before taking his shot when Lysander called out. He wasn't sure if he'd been calling out to Chloë and his brief hesitation must have made it easier for Nikko to be ready for his shot. Sully groaned as it was stopped, shaking out his shoulders as he moved back into position.
 
After letting the snitch go again, Flynn waited for a moment before searching for it once again.
 
Ronald shocked to hit the bludger but he refuse the pain and start to guard again his hoops because the other team going to his area.
 
Sully winced in sympathy when Ronald took a bludger, moving back to see if he could intercept the quaffle as it came back into play.
 
Ronald see that sully worried to me I thumbs up to him to say that I'm okay and then he passed the quaffle to his teammates. Ronald felt that he is playing a quidditch game like a true event like a real game is he focused to conquer his doubts and play as good as possible.
 
Nikko finally seemed to be catching up and caught the quaffle before it went through the hoops. He was relived to have finally blocked something and threw the ball back into the game. Now practice wouldn't feel like a total loss.
 
Flynn seeked.
 
Isaiah flew after another bludger, hesitating for a second when he heard someone call out his surname whether it was meant for him or his cousin. He looked around just in time to see the bludger coming, but too late to do anything about it. Still, he aimlessly swung his bat in the general direction of the bludger before feeling the painful sensation of it colliding with his ribs. “Dude.” He groaned as he rubbed his side for a second before trying to shake it off and continue on.
 
Chloë had been flying after Sully when she heard Lysander call out, turning her head to see if the warning had been for her. She grimaced when she noticed Isaiah get hit instead before focussing back on the quaffle just in time to see Sully’s shot get blocked. She swooped up the quaffle when Nikko threw it back out and shot Sully a smile before speeding off.
 
Sully clicked his tongue when Chloë smiled at her, competitive streak rising as he gave chase with a laugh. If he couldn't catch her he could at least make sure she didn't have as easy a chance on goal this time round.
 
Lysander flew up alongside Isaiah, trying to lightly laugh it off. "Sorry. Good swinging." He said with a chuckle. "Timing's everything. If you don't think you can hit it back you can always try use your bat as a shield instead of flailing it around. Softens the blow and hurts way less." He said. He leaned out, batting at another bludger rocketing nearby, and sent it spiraling into @Solomon Tofilau.​
 
There was no sign of the snitch again. Sad.
