From the end of the hall, the Headmistress stood waiting for graduates and guests alike to enter and take their appropriate seats. Gone were the long tables that usually resided in the hall, leaving a large empty space for rows upon rows of padded chairs. Gone too, were the usual banners and drapes depicting the four individual houses and their respective colours, replaced now by banners depicting only the Hogwarts insignia on a plain, black background. Today, the seventh years weren't Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs or Slytherins. They stood together as one, the graduating class of 2054

As everyone settled into their seats, Katherine strode across the stage to take her position at the podium. With a raise of her hand, the murmur and chatter of those present ceased, and she spoke. "Welcome all of you, family and friends, students and staff, to the graduation ceremony of twenty fifty-four. Thank you for joining us in celebrating the long journey of our honoured graduates, and in commending their seven years of growth and dedication at Hogwarts New Zealand. Truly, each and every one of you have been the heart and soul of this school." There was a brief moment of applause, and once that too had died down, Katherine continued. "To the class of twenty fifty-four, remember that your lives are only just beginning. You are all the future of wizardkind, and it is your actions and achievements that will continue to shape the world we live in. With that said, I'd like to call upon our head students, Elliot Briar and Selene Le Fey to take the podium. Please give them a warm welcome." The Headmistress finished, stepping off to the side to allow the two students to take her place and present their speeches.

Taking a deep breath, Elliot stepped onto the stage, glancing out at the gathered crowd and doing his best to ignore the weight of their eyes and the overwhelming awareness he’d was about to have to speak in front of all of them. Finding Alice helped and he released a shaking breath with a small smile. He’d spent more time prepping his speech than he’d like to admit and still didn’t feel like it was quite ready, which was somewhat ironic considering. But he didn’t have any time left to fret, giving Professor Alicastell a quick nod of thanks as she introduced him and Selene before stepping forward to speak.

“Tena kotou, tena kotou katoa*. Welcome and congratulations to all of you, graduates, friends, guests," Elliot began, trying not to let his hands or voice shake as he spoke. "I admittedly spent most of my time here at school hoping that when I reached this day, I would somehow know everything, be ready for anything, and that it would all seem that much less terrifying. Now that we're finally here, I have to acknowledge that is decidedly not the case," he said sheepishly. "If I have learnt anything while at school, it’s that deep down, there is so very little that I am ever actually ready for in life. But, I have also learnt that that is not necessarily a bad thing. Our time here at Hogwarts has prepared us as best as our peers and professors could probably hope for, and now the rest falls to us. All we can hope is that we have gained enough knowledge and wisdom to know that we will not be able to control everything, or to study or practice for everything that life plans to throw at us. We can simply do our best with what we have going forward.

So, that is my hope, for myself, and for all of us beginning something new today. That we can take that lesson, and many others large and small we've learnt over the last seven years with us, and learn to embrace all the new, scary, difficult lessons we have yet to learn and will be woefully unprepared for. We will never know everything in this world, I think. But hopefully we are ready enough that we will be able to make it through, regardless." Elliot paused, taking a deep breath. "It is that hope and advice I pass onto all of you, along with my heartfelt congratulations to each and everyone one of us for navigating ourselves to this point today. Congratulations again, class of 2054, here's to finding our way together from here on out," he said, stepping away from the podium with a small smile and a nod to Selene, glancing out at the crowd, his classmates and friends, one last time.

*”Greetings one and all”. A common opening for speeches in NZ.

There are some mements that you know are inevitably going to come but never really think they will arrive. For Selene le fey this was one of them. She was sitting on the front row in the great waiting to graduate Hogwarts. She had logically known from the first day she stepped into the hall seven years ago and tried on the sorting hat that she would end up here. But it had seemed like such a far off idea of a time that is would never actually occur. But now it was and not only was she graduating she had somehow made it to be head girl and was expected to give a speech.

Ever since the newt exams had finished she had been living in a bubble state of almost shock marred only by the lingering headache at the back of her head. But today even that didn’t hurt her. The morning had been fun in the dorm getting ready there was still sometimes a bit of an icy feel in there but the but the excitement of graduation had let her at least block it out. It had just been fun to hang out with some of the girls helping each other style hair and Sophie had drawn some wicked eye liner and her far better than she could remotely conceive to do herself. Coupled with the slinky blue dress she had chosen the end result made her feel so grown up and feeling as close to pretty or beautiful as she had ever felt before.

She sat in her seat nervously fidgeting with one of the sequins on her skirt as the head mistress gave a speech and then Elliott. He seemed like he knew what he was doing. She didn’t. she had never been the good talker. When they were younger she hardly spoke to anyone except helia. Even when she was asked a question it was helia who answered for her. Of course that time was well over but it was slightly different answering one persons question than making a speech to everyone here. ”Good luck” she whispered to Elliot. Before he stepped forward. Though Elliot was the kind of person who people liked. Someone who had charisma. Someone who wasn’t her. She ws so worried about herown speech that she hardly remembered to pay attention to Elliot.

When Elliot finished she let out a breath that she hadn’t realised that she was holding. She took a step forward. She cleared her throat ”Thank you Elliot, Professor Alicastell” she said glancing back at where the others were before looking forward again feeling like all eyes were on her. Probably because all eyes were on her. ”um. Hello. Kia ora koutou.” she said scanning the hall eyes clanking over faces people she know professors, classmates until they landed on her head of house who had been the professor who had mostly introduced her to a few phrases of te reo and used that one in front of most large group meetings. So here we are. Today. Graduation day. There are some days that are made turning points. Where you stop and the future is up to you. Today is one of them. Once again we are sitting in the hall. Listening to someone trying to impart wisdom on the stage, I’m sorry that out of everyone that someone is me, I am not claiming to be wise, or even have any insight but here goes.. Unlike seven years ago, today your future isn’t about to be determined by a hat. Today you are on the edge of the precipice of the rest of your lives. Today is a day you can decide your own future.” she said. she paused and glanced at where her mum was seated and her grandma and aunt. ”but you don’t need bug days and formal clothed and ceremonies to make a change. the future is not set in stone every day, every decision you make can change it.” then she looked at the students, or rather graduates, before her. ”the last seven years, your professors have done all they can to equip you for the journey” she paused and clapped a couple of times before raising an invisible glass to them ”And in the eleven years before then your families have done the best to guide you to be the best you can be.” she paused again nodding to the people sitting at the back, the mums, dads, grandparents, boyfiends, girlfriends uncles aunts and whatever else. ”what the school has given you is not just the spells and potions learned in class. It has given you friendships. People who will be there long after you leave. It may have given you strength or confidence or an idea where your passions lie.” she bit her lip and then smiled. ”I am not going to tell you to follow your heart. Hearts are reckless things that fly into things too not thinking about the consequences. But don’t follow your head either. Or you will be stuck deliberating things and never doing them. Maybe follow your guts, especially if they are telling you to find a toilet. she paused and let a moment of chuckling die away. But really follow all three. and like with a compass, when they all align you know your are on the right track. Do what is right. You have a family here who will support you. Even if they are not family by blood. The time here makes us all a Hogwarts new Zealand family. The future is not set in stone. But be warned trying to change it may be the spark on the beautiful but potentially dangerous fireworks.” she paused for a final time looking at the audience as a whole. ”best of luck to you all. Not just fhe graduates but to everyone. Can we please have a round of applause for the professors. She let the applause fade. "for your families and guests" she paused to let another applause rechp. "And to the graduates, Hogwarts New Zealand class of twenty fifty-four" she finished looking at the headmistress before making her way back to the seat only no realising how much her legs had been shaking. [/B]

Katherine stood quietly to the side as the two head students gave their speeches, applauding each in turn as they finished and stepped down from the podium to make their way back to their seats. With all said and done, the Headmistress took their place once more to address the hall. "Thank you, Mr Briar and Miss Le Fey for those words. To the class of twenty fifty-four - the future is yours - don't be afraid to leave your mark in the history of wizardkind. I look forward to seeing what each of you bring to the wizarding world. Now, let's move on to why we're all here. When I call your name, come up to the stage to receive your diploma." The woman said, taking a moment to look across the sea of faces in front of her, many for the last time. Her eyes dropped to the parchment she held, and she called up the first of many names.

It's time Graduates. You can now RP your character coming on stage, getting their diploma and then sitting back down until the end of the ceremony.

Jasper had to admit he was a little sad to see his time at HNZ coming to an end. He sat at the crowd, listening to Elliot and then Selene going on. He smirked a bit. With his graduation today, Jordie was the only Michaels left at school. He hadn't spent much time talking to the younger boy- he was so friendly he had easily surrounded himself with people. Sapphire had asked him to keep an eye on Jordie, and he had.

But now, he had a future to get to. An internship under Grandmother, more classes to take. A beautiful woman to dote on. His eyes scanned the crowd until he found Arinna. He winked as he caught her eye and blew her a kiss. He waited patiently for his name to be called, smirking a bit and walking up to the Headmistress. "It has been a pleasure," he gave her his best smile, accepting his diploma before walking back down to his seat. @Arinna Desai

Lily couldn't believe it. Graduation had come, finally. She sat in her seat, tears already streaming quietly down her face. She couldn't believe this. She listened to Elliot's speech, making sure to clap for him as he finished. She didn't think he had seen her, but that was alright. She would find him soon enough. She looked around, smiling warmly at each of her closest friends. Lars. Jasper. Elliot. Clifton. Her heart skipped a bit at the thought of Clifton. There was a mess.

She was drawn from her thoughts as she heard her name called. She smiled softly. Standing, she straightened out the hem of her dress and walked up to the front. She peeked at the crowd through her tears, hoping to see her parents. She let out a soft sigh, taking her diploma from the headmistress. With a shaky 'thank you' she walked away to sit back in her chair, smiling softly at Clifton, though she wasn't sure if he saw her. @Clifton Ward

Sophie had been waiting for this moment for the majority of her lifetime at Hogwarts. It was an odd feeling for her to finally be attending the graduation ceremony as someone who was actually graduating and not someone who was just a spectator. She wished her father would have been attending however. It had been so long since his passing that she didn’t even know what he would say to her. He would be proud, she was sure of it, and perhaps would have made a joke or two to ease her nerves, but as every day passed, she was beginning to forget those small details about him, and it lingered in the back of her mind as she was getting ready for the event.

Sophie had spent the majority of the day helping her friend Selene get ready. She was the Head Girl, and so she had to look the best out of everyone. Sophie was flattered that Selene had chosen her to do her eyeliner, and tried her very best at it. Selene seemed happy, and this made Sophie happy too.

The Ravenclaw entered the Great Hall in her robes, taking her assigned seat and listening as the Headmistress started the ceremony. Elliot was the first out of the head people to step up and talk, and Sophie listened to him, glad that she wasn’t going to go up and make her own speech. It seemed like such a hard thing to prepare, and she was most excited to hear Selene’s. As her friend stood up to talk, Sophie smiled at her, eager to hear her words of wisdom. She spoke about friendships, and this part stood out the most to Sophie. She had made friends in her younger years that had drifted away so suddenly after her life turned around, but Selene had always been there to stick by her. Her words meant a lot to Sophie as she watched her friend speak them to the hundreds of people in front of her. It ended with applause, and a small tear escaped the Ravenclaw’s eye, falling down her cheek. She couldn’t remember the last time she cried about something other than her insecurity or her loneliness.

Soon enough, the Headmistress began calling everyone’s names. Sophie stood up once she heard hers, heading towards the stage so she could grab her diploma and quickly head back down to her seat. She didn’t know how Selene managed to keep herself together in front of so many people, whilst Sophie just wanted to get off the stage as soon as possible. She couldn’t wait for some freedom once leaving the castle, despite the inevitable near future that lay ahead of her. She would figure it out though, she was sure of it.

Jasper was feeling very jittery about graduating. His leg kept wiggling and he couldn't help tapping his fingers on his legs as well. Part of him wished he could run a few laps around the school, hoping that might help him calm down. But that wasn't an option. The headmistress spoke a few words that Jasper hardly heard, then gave the stage to Elliot who gave his speech. Jasper tried to focus on the words this time, knowing the Hufflepuff probably put a lot of effort into it. It was a pretty nice speech, and Jasper smiled and clapped when he was done. He was a bit less enthusiastic about Selene, but that had more to do with his personal feelings about her than her speech. He had never quite forgiven her for breaking Nell's heart. When they were done, it was time to get their diplomas. Jasper's turn wasn't until about halfway through the list, so he first made sure to cheer for Elliot, Blake, and Lily as they went before him. Then, it was his turn. He took the Diploma from Professor Alicastell and grinned widely as he returned to his seat. He'd done it, he had graduated. He only regretted not having brought a dung bomb to go off on the stage or something, to make the event truly memorable. But he hadn't wanted to risk them taking the diploma back.

Lars was glad for Blake's steady support besides him, as everything about today felt like a dream. He had been thrilled to see Fleur again, as she had come to support him at graduation. It was sweet of Blake to invite her so Lars could invite his other two sisters. He knew it had to be rough for Blake that none of his family was here today, and he squeezed Blake's hand slightly. He knew he had to be support for him as well.

The headmistress started the ceremony off with a quick speech. Then it was time for Elliot to give his big head boy speech. He did very well, and Lars couldn't help smiling proudly. He knew how hard this had to be for him. Selene did well too, and Lars clapped for them both. Then, the names were called. Lars would be up before Blake, and he reluctantly let go of Blake's hand when his name was called. With a shaky sigh, he made his way to the headmistress to accept the diploma from her. He was glad when he could return to his seat.

As much time as she had spent thinking about today, Nell still couldn't quite believe it was actually here. Her things were packed, her desk in the Monthly office cleared out for everything but an encouraging letter she had left for Poppy. She had taken a final walk around the school, trying to memorise every nook and cranny of its winding corridors one last time, she had fertilised her plants in the Wild Patch for whoever would be caring for them next year, she had taken a moment to thank her favourite Professors. This was it. There was nothing left to do but to graduate, to leave Hogwarts behind and begin her own life as an adult.

Still, a large part of Nell felt like she had forgotten something, that she had to run back into the castle and find the thing she had left behind, finish the essay she had forgotten, return to her familiar life and never leave. It was difficult to focus on the speeches but she did her best, unable to help tearing up slightly as Elliot reflected some of the worries that had been consuming her right back, and she was momentarily overcome with relief that she wasn't the only one struggling with this major junction of their lives. Nell had somehow managed to forget Selene would be speaking too until it was actually happening and her jaw tightened, staring at the floor silently until the speech was over and trying not to listen.

But next came the part Nell had been truly dreading. Once the certificate was in her hand, her time at Hogwarts would be finished, for good. She was both relieved and frustrated with how late in the alphabet her surname fell, watching her classmates one after another get up to receive their diplomas, clapping for her friends as they officially finished their time at school and took their first steps into the adult world. And then, finally and much too soon all at once, her own turn had come. Nell took a deep, shaky breath as she stepped onto the stage, unable to help the wavering of her smile or the tears in her eyes as she approached Professor Alicastell, accepting the diploma and shaking the woman's hand, every action feeling like a dream. This was really it. The diploma felt much too light in her hand for the weight it carried, the promise of a brand new life, completely unlike anything she had known before. As nostalgic as Nell would always be for her time at Hogwarts, she knew today was just the start of a brand new adventure.

Days as important as today came so rarely in a person's life, and Clifton knew he should be cherishing it. Should be remembering every detail of his last day at Hogwarts, should be making plans to catch up with all the friends he would soon be missing, should be taking photos to look back on when he was old and grey. Instead he had barely been able to unknot himself from the anxiety in his stomach, fighting the urge every moment to wrap his arms around himself and just curl up in a ball. He had changed so much in his time at Hogwarts, quite sure he was now a person his eleven year old self would barely recognise. And yet, at the same time it felt like he had learned nothing. Feeling grown up when you were the oldest person in your school, and actually stepping out into the adult world were two very different things entirely.

Still, Clifton did his best to keep himself together, shoulders hunched and hands fidgeting as he tried to at least sit upright through the speeches. It was strange, listening to Elliot speak so soon after patching things up with him. He knew the speech should be comforting, but it only made Clifton's anxiety worse. Soon everything would be up to him, and that was not a situation he tended to do terribly well in. He caught himself starting to wish he had just... flunked a class, maybe had to repeat a year, just given himself a little more time. But no, he was here now, and there was nothing to be done but sink or swim on his own terms. Selene's speech didn't help his anxiety any, though he quietly thought perhaps he should be listening to his gut right now.

He hunched over more in his seat as they started reading names, cursing how late in the alphabet he fell. As long as he could just... keep himself together, everything would be fine. Clifton barely looked as his classmates accepted their diplomas, too consumed by his own anxieties. He almost didn't even hear his own name, jumping up much too fast when he realised it was time. He tripped slightly on the stairs up to the stage, wincing and hunching more. He couldn't bring himself to look at his friends or family in the audience, taking his diploma as quickly as possible and slinking off the stage, face hot, wishing just once he could have managed not to completely make a fool of himself. Of all the days, of course he would be clumsy and useless on such an important one.

When he had been young, Blake had known exactly how today was going to go for him. Head Boy, Quidditch champion, his adoring parents and sister in the audience, the whole school cheering for all of his accomplishments. At least one out of four wasn't bad. As much as it hurt, Blake hadn't even tried to invite any of his family. He knew exactly how that would go, and knew the gulf of silence between them would scar anew if he were to actually try and make contact, just like it had when he sent Jenna a message at Valentines. Best to just... stay silent. They didn't want him in their lives, so he would focus instead on the people who liked him.

The van Houtens had been nothing short of a blessing, and it had felt nice to be able to invite one of Lars' sisters for him, so Lars could have his whole family here and Blake would have someone to look to in the audience, even though he was fairly sure they were only here for Lars. He clung to Lars' hand through the speeches, Elliot's in particular hitting him deeply. Everything ahead felt deeply unclear, and all Blake could really do was hope things were going to work out. Lars, at least, felt certain, when nothing else was, and he leaned slightly closer as he listened, only releasing Lars' hand to clap for both speeches when they were done.

And then the time came. The first few graduates seemed to fly by lightning fast, and it was far too soon that Lars was called away. Blake watched with wide eyes, clapping loudly as Lars accepted his diploma, heart bursting with pride. And then it was Blake's turn, laughing a little shakily as he took the stage and accepted his diploma. He may not have had his family behind him anymore, but he had made it here, as a person he actually liked, and whatever happened from here on, he would find his way, with Lars by his side.

Cyzarine couldn't believe she was graduating, it was so long in the making, but she was graduating. The prefect was looking forward to graduating, to being around Mihail and to being able to leave though she was very sad to too. Cyzarine sat down in her spot in the hall with the others who were graduating. She was sure she was going to cry so she had a tissue already in her hand. She looked up as the head mistress began speaking and she cheered loudly for the head boy and head girl. She had gotten to know Selene very well over the past few years and was so grateful for it. Elliot she knew less well, but she was still very happy for him. She cheered for his speech but it was Selene's speech who made her cry. she was just teary eyed and feeling very sorry for the fact she was leaving school. She cheered loudly for them both as they'd both finished.

Cyzarine dabbed her eyes as the names began being read out. She applauded for her classmates and then her name was called. She stuffed the tissues away into her pocket and then walked up. She thanked the headmistress happily and shook her hand. She was teary eyed but Cyzarine was clearly also very happy about what she had managed. Graduating meant so much and she was finally there. She finished shaking her hand, taking the certificate and then walked to the other side of the stage. She felt so happy about this and couldn't wait for the next part of her life which was now beginning. And afte the ceremony was over she'd go to see Selene and congratulate her before going to her father and celebrating with her family.

Elliot smiled as Selene finished her speech, glad he'd gone first even if it had been nerve wracking just so he had a few minutes to stop his hands shaking before he had to get up again to get his diploma. It was almost surreal to finally be crossing that stage; Elliot felt like the whole year had been building to this, heck even all of last year too with Alice leaving, and now that he was finally here, it didn't really feel like it had sunk in. That this signaled the end of an era for him, and for his friends too. He'd picked Hogwarts over Ilvermorny in an attempt to become closer to his father and be his own person, and he'd certainly achieved at least some of that. In the process of writing his head boy speech, he'd spent a lot of time thinking about the future, trying to prepare for today and every day ahead, before ultimately realizing it was impossible. For now, he was just going to have to take each day one at a time and hope he'd paid enough attention to not accidentally hex his own pants off or something.

Taking his seat and clutching his diploma, Elliot noted his hands had still shook as he'd thanked Professor Alicastell, but he couldn't bring himself to care much anymore, smiling and clapping as his friends took their turns to cross the stage. He beamed at Lily especially as her turn came, hoping she could feel his eyes on her. Losing the long nights curled up with her would hurt the most, he realized. The little moments day to day with her and Lars and other friends, but it wasn't like he'd never see any of them again. They had all the time in the world for that starting today.

So many things happened in the last seven years of Baron's life. Life-changing discoveries shook him to the very core and even forced him to make big decisions. He found out that he had a brother, a twin even, in another school. This caused him to secretly send a transfer application in his second year. Too bad it was rejected and his mother found out. Everything came to light. He was confused with everything yet the impact was not that great until his third year. As a peace offering, his mother submitted the transfer application this time and informed him that he was going to Hogwarts.

Seven years had passed and there he was, seated beside his twin @Kace Corelli for their graduation. Soon enough, the speeches were over and the students' names were called one by one. Being called before his twin, he stood up and went up the stage to accept his certificate. Whispering his thanks, he looked to the crowd and gave a small smile and wave before going back to his seat. He wondered if @Amethyst Michaels or @Jenna Toubia were among the many faces.

It had felt like this day would never come, but it was finally here. Tyler felt ready to graduate, he was eager to leave Hogwarts behind and start his real life as a full wizard. He was tapping his foot impatiently as he waited for the ceremony to begin, glancing around at his classmates. He felt a bit of a strange feeling when he looked at Blake, startled to see him... happy. Tyler wondered if he should try to talk to him one last time, but then Professor Alicastell started to speak and Tyler put it from his mind.

He listened to both the speeches, finding neither particularly interesting. But he clapped politely after both Elliot and Selene were done. Then it was finally time for them to get their diploma. Tyler waited until it was his turn, then headed to the stage to accept it. He couldn't help smiling slightly as he heard Salem cheer for him, for once not embarrassed by his cousin. He'd miss her a bit. Then he returned to his seat near Emily, shooting her a quick smile.

It felt weird that she was actually receiving her diploma now. She had worked extremely hard and had done everything to get some good grades. She knew why she did it and was proud she had actually achieved something. She had put the Arts Club back on the menu and she was confident that the leaders she had picked were perfect. She listened to the speeches and clapped alongside Tyler. She didn't care for both, she just wanted her diploma.

Emily waited for her turn and accepted it with glee. She was so excited to finally have it, it finally felt real. When she was done with the formalities she returned to her seat. She returned Tyler's smile and now their real life was going to start. It was amazing to have Tyler by her side every step of the way.

selene sat down glad that the biggrst part of graduation was over. she looked around the crowd she could see her friends, were sophie and Cyzarine crying. she could see her mum, Grandma and aunt in the crowd. she listened s the professor finished her introduction and then started clapping with names being called out. she was so proud of every one of her classmates. after about half a dozen names she realised that with every few she would get a splash of some kind of feeling. one name made her feel uneasy. another made her hopeful. she wondered if this was what being a seer was like. never quite being able to live in the moment. then all of a sudden her name pulled her back to reality. she got to her feet and stepped onto the stage collecting her diploma before looking out at her classmates, their families and her professors. it felt weird by the time she was in her seat tears were welling up in her eyes.
Once the ceremony was over she gave each of her friends a hug and congratulated them before going over to her family feeling extremely proud of what she had accomplished.

Sofia could not believe that today is her graduation ceremony and will not return to these walls next year. She sat strap on the other members of the tower, trying to look them straight ahead and not even look at Slytherin's table. The director started the speech, then started talking to the head student. It was hard to focus her mind, but she literally forced herself to listen to the conversation. By the end of the speeches began the offensive part, where they needed to get their diplomas for graduation. Had to wait until he heard his name when he heard Sofia got up from the table smiled at Kiara, then went up the stairs to Professor Katherine Alicastell to get a diploma and thanked him with a smile on his face, then returned, but looked up at Slytherin's table, but immediately regretted doing so, then quickly turned to returned to the table and sat back next to the cousin.

Lauren could not believe she was graduating. She couldn't even believe she made it in the first place in different ways. Making her way to the other students, waiting to be called to get her diploma with the headmistress. The woman who had helped her and believed her, so Lauren was gratefull. Hundred of emotions went inside of the blonde. Relief, sadness, anger, happiness it was an mix of all. She missed her best friend in this, how nice it would be to have Aonghas with her. But she had to make an choice of who to send an inventation. And she felt it was too painfull to see Aonghas in the crowd and not with her. She would visit him later on when she was graduated. Those seven years were in a way too soon for the blonde, if she looked back she could not say she had enjoyed all of her period and have the best time. It had been nice at the beginning, she could remember how happy she was to feel an bit free as she first set foot at Hogwarts and do what she wanted. But that changed quickly as her parents made sure she needed to deliver at school. And the abuse began. Looking at the crowd behind her she noticed a lot of parents and they looked proud at their daughter or son. For Lauren it was confrontating that none of her parents were here and thought that way of her. An tiny tear rolled down her cheek as she tried to accept that this would be it. How much she hated them for what they had done to her, they were still her parents. And she would be the instigator to break up their family soon. She knew her sisters could hate her forever, since they only knew what her father told them. Though Lauren was glad that Gabriella had found the courage to help her out, and she could try to fix things with her oldest sister who came here today with her boyfriend to support her.

As Lauren listened to the headpeople speak, the words kind of went past her. There had been thoughts with Lauren that she ever wondered if she would be able to experiance this day. And she was glad she did. When she heard her name getting called by the headmistress she stood up slowly and walked to the headmistress. Giving the woman an small smile. Thinking of the conversation she and her head of house had have and they decided to help her out with setting stuff up to have an trial against her parents. She took the diploma from the woman. '' Thank you.. '' She than said softly. And than looked at the crowd spotting her sister and Marcos. And than looking at Professor Landon Carter. It was nice to see he applauded for her and she tried to focus on the good times that were coming. Landon had earned her trust, and that was something special since her trust in adults had been completly broken. It was nice that there was an home waiting for her, and that her youngest sister Camilla could come along if she wanted. Poiting her diploma in the way of Landon Carter to make sure she owned it all to him. And she didn't forgot Professor Bryce Chamberlin who had ment a lot to her also. He didn't worked here anymore, but her thoughts went to him also. And perhaps even Professor Styx who she hated, but the man had ment it well after all perhaps and saw it was wrong to have such an boggart as her father and could read her mind about it. But she would never admit that to him. Because the way he had done it was just wrong to her and made her trust adults even less. As she made her way back. Lauren looked around the great hall. She would miss this place, but it also reminded her of all the bad it had brought her. The next stop hopefully would be to become happy, and find something she would like and be passioned about.
