Y38 Beauxbatons Practice S1

Amelie was content to take it slow, feeling she'd been successful, and kept a lazy eye out for the snitch.
 
Édelie watched Ares' attempt at scoring and gave him an encouraging look when he missed. Grabbing the quaffle, she headed back out, hoping the beaters would get a few more hits in.
 
Amelie hummed softly as she flew.
 
Idly watching Ares as he flew with the quaffle, Aramis was distracted by what he was certain was the sound of someone nearby humming. It was a relief then when Ares' shot went wide, as Aramis definitely hadn't been ready to properly stop it when the chaser made an attempt on the goal. He sheepishly ducked down to grab the quaffle, throwing it back out to Édelie.
 
Amelie watched the bludgers a moment before returning to her search.
 
Édelie kept an eye on Hugo, hoping he could catch up to Amelie's score before attempting to score again. She watched the quaffle sail through one of the hoops and did a victory spin on her broom before clearing her throat, nodding at her teammates. Finally.
 
Amelie smiled at the captains enthusiasm before turning her eyes back to the sky.
 
Bludgers were nowhere near her and Élise decided to work on some evasive manvoures, they were pretty easy with no bludgers to evade.
 
After throwing out the quaffle, Aramis seemed to have lost track of whomever was humming. He didn't know if he could blame his distraction for why he wasn't able to block Édelie's next shot, or if he was just too slow, but he could only watch, miffed, as the quaffle sailed through the hoop, though Édelie's little victory twirl was kind of worth it. "Very cute, Captain," he said, ducking down to grab the quaffle and throw it back out.
 
Amelie continued to hum as she flew across the pitch, watching for the snitch.
 
Gaby chuckled at Édelie’s enthusiasm when she managed to get her shot past Aramis, only barely paying enough attention to catch the quaffle when it was thrown back out again.
 
Gaby headed back to the hoops, quickly throwing the quaffle in an attempt to catch Aramis off guard. Perhaps a bit too quick though, because her aim was certainly off as she watched the quaffle sail just past the outside of the hoop.
 
Amelie hummed as she searched the skies.

After Gaby’s shot had gone wide she swooped in to intercept the quaffle before either Ares or Édelie could catch it.
 
Aramis hadn't quite been ready for Gaby to swoop back and take her shot already, though thankfully he was saved by the shot going wide. Relieved, he scooped up the quaffle, smiling when Gaby grabbed it again for another. Clearly she was on a mission.
 
Amelie smiled softly at Gaby before returning to her search.
 
Gaby figured that keeping the pace up would be good for all of them, circling back around towards the hoops and making her shot. "Nice save!" She smiled at Aramis when he blocked it, hoping it'd be easier to get some point in with a keeper that wasn't as used to them as he was.
 
Aramis was ready when Gaby came around this time, able to get both hands on the quaffle as she tried to throw it in. He gave her a little mock bow as she congratulated him on the save before throwing the quaffle back out.
 
Amelie laughed softly at Aremis' bow and returned to her search
 
Hugo was flying around with a frown, still not seeing the snitch anywhere.
 
Édelie was glad to see Gaby score again and took posession of the quaffle when it was sent back. "You doing okay, Hugo?" she called out to the seeker, hoping he was keeping his spirits up. It had taken her forever to score, but it was worth it, and she was sure he'd catch the snitch before practice was over.
 
Amelie continued her search, humming softly to herself.
 
Aramis kept an eye on Édelie as she took the quaffle, giving Hugo a glum look as she checked in with him. Aramis was just glad he didn't have any competition for his position.
