Hugo couldn't believe his bad luck. How could one seeker catch the snitch four times when he couldn't even find it? He was very frustrated and angry, looking around with a frown on his face.
Aramis was able to grab the quaffle when Ares made another shot, but when Gaby came round next he was way too slow. He smiled at her as he threw the quaffle back into play, non-plussed. He was pretty content with how he was playing, so letting in a goal or two wasn't the worst he figured.
Édelie took a chance to score again and missed, throwing it completely wide. She bit her lip and looked around at the other chasers, hoping they would do a better job than she was during their upcoming game.
Gaby watched Édelie make her shot, almost feeling her friend's disappointment when it went wide. She gave her a thumbs up, catching the quaffle when Aramis threw it out again and flying off with it.
Aramis flailed a bit when Édelie made her next shot. He wasn't able to stop it, but he liked to think maybe he'd contributed to the bad angle that caused it to go wide. Probably not, but it made him feel better. Scooping up the quaffle, Aramis threw it back out, watching as Gaby caught it and took off.
Élise flew around looking around for bludgers, but nothing was found. The bludger she did spot was hit wrongly and flew off in the distance. Goodbye bludger, you were the worst.
After getting some distance in Gaby circled back towards the hoops. She wondered how used Aramis had gotten to how she and the other chaser’s played by now which is why she wasn’t too surprised when he blocked her shot.
Aramis watched idly as the chasers did a lap, sitting up more when Gaby came in close. He liked to think he was getting good at reading when the chasers were going for an actual attempt at goal or just faking him out, pleased to be correct this time as he moved just in time to knock Gaby's shot aside before grabbing the quaffle to throw back out to the team.
Ares watched as the two girls took over play, smiling slightly as Gaby let in another shot. The boy could tell that the captain was getting frustrated however, and so when the quaffle was thrown back into play again, he quickly flew across for it, very determined to score for her.
Gemma nearly missed the bludger coming right at her. She had let down her guard but was able to hit it away just in time. Her heart was racing but she frowned as the bludger went off into nowhere.
As Ares came close enough to the hoops, he attempted to score. Unfortunately it went wide and Ares just shrugged. He was getting tired and he wondered if the captain ever gave them breaks.
