Y38 Beauxbatons Practice S1

Amelie heard a bludger and peeked over, but thankfully it wasn't anywhere near her. She turned back to her search.
 
Édelie kept an eye on Ares as he took posession of the quaffle again.
 
As Ares made it to the hoops, he attempted to score but watched as it was caught by the keeper. A little bit annoyed, Ares just waited for the quaffle to be thrown back out again.
 
Aramis still wasn't quite used to Ares as a chaser yet, but he was patient, waiting until the last minute to see where Ares would shoot for and moving to catch the quaffle. Pleased with himself, Aramis threw it back out to the waiting chasers.
 
Amelie glanced over to the keeper when she spotted the snitch. She grinned and turned, speeding forward as fast as she could. She almost went through one of the open hoops, but pulled up at the last moment, the snitch in her grasp again. She giggled, holding it up for the captain before releasing it. @Édelie de la Mora

Gemma grinned as she saw a bludger heading right at her and she readied her bat. She got a little nervous as it got closer because she really wanted to make this shot count after such a quiet practice. She let out a victorious shout as she made contact but winced as it started to go in the opposite direction she had been intending and hit Aramis instead. She shot him an apologetic look and hoped he wouldn't be too annoyed with her. @Aramis Faroe

Aramis was minding his own business over the hoops, just turning his head, impressed to see Amelie had the snitch for a third time, when he was nearly knocked clean off his broom by an unexpected bludger. "I'm going to take a guess and say that wasn't intentional," he said ruefully, rubbing his arm tenderly where the bludger had hit, glad that he'd managed to keep his grip despite being so distracted.
 
Amelie turned to look at Aramis, smiling sympathetically. "Are you alright?" She asked, giving him a shy smile. After talking to him a moment, she turned her attention back to the field, eyes lighting up as she spotted the snitch again. She took off after it, slowly closing in on the tiny ball before finally emerging with it in her grasp again. She held it up, giggling happily before letting it go again.
 
Édelie felt like her attention was being sent in every direction as she watched Ares fail to score and caught the quaffle but was then quickly distracted by Amelie. "That's great!" she called out before seeing a bludger whiz suddenly into Aramis. "Good job, Gemma!" she said, given a sympathetic smile to Aramis before heading back out.
 
Aramis gave Amelie a thumbs up before grimacing in an exaggerated fashion at the movement. He'd been more surprised than anything, but he appreciated Amelie's concern. At least until she shot off to catch the snitch again. "Dang, okay. I'll just stay here and stay out of the way," he said, shaking his head in disbelief. Poor Hugo was gonna need to work hard to keep up with her.
 
Gemma rolled her eyes at Aramis' comment. "Of course not!" she shouted back but couldn't help but grin. Better to keep him on his toes. But after such a dramatic hit the bludgers seemed to be hiding again.
 
Amelie was fairly pleased with herself and pulled her hair back again before resuming her search.
 
OOC: I completely missed that Amelie caught the snitch again.

Édelie took a chance to score and was unsuccessful yet again. Maybe she shouldn't be captain if she oculdn't even play her position.
 
Aramis tried not to get distracted by the rest of the team, remembering Édelie had the quaffle again so he'd need to be on his toes. He just managed to knock the quaffle aside as she threw it, though it was close and Aramis tried to remind himself to pay more attention as he threw it back out.
 
Ares beamed as the alternate seeker caught the snitch yet again. He wondered why she was the alternate seeker when she was doing so well. As the captain failed to score again, Ares gave her a reassuring smile as he then went in to collect it and tucked it under his arm.
 
Gemma sighed heavily as bludgers continued to stay far, far away from her.
 
Ares had the quaffle again and Aramis rolled his shoulder experimentally as he tried to keep an eye on the chaser until he was close enough to score.
 
Édelie kept an eye on things as Ares reclaimed the quaffle, feeling a little down.
 
Amelie hummed softly as she flew around, keeping her eye out for the snitch.
 
Ares flew as fast as he could towards the hoops, and when he managed to get close enough, he aimed for the very middle one and sighed as it was caught. He didn't seem to be the only one that was frustrated however and he hoped that soon enough everything would pick up.
 
Gaby had noticed Amelie catch the snitch more than once already, a little impressed by how lucky she seemed to be. She caught the quaffle when it was thrown back out again after Ares's attempt and tucked it under her arm as she made off with it.

Amelie continued her search.
 
Gaby circled back towards the hoops when she felt she had gotten in enough distance. She sped up as she made her way towards the end of the pitch, throwing the quaffle at one of the hoops once she reached the scoring area and grinning when she watched it go through.
 
Amelie smiled as Gaby made a goal before resuming her search.
 
Bludgers were rare at least their alt seeker knew where the snitch was. That girl was on a major roll and that with two bludgers hits. She could still feel hers throbbing.
