Y38 Beauxbatons Practice S1

Édelie saw a chance to jump in and claim the quaffle again. She headed out, changing her path as she headed towards the hoops.
 
Amelie continued her search for the snitch.
 
Élise twirled the bat in her hand. No use in actually using it anyway, bludgers were probably having a private dinner somewhere.
 
Amelie wasn't overly motivated to find the snitch, but she kept an eye out, humming softly.
 
Édelie tried to score and missed by a few inches, feeling bad that Aramis had to go chase the quaffle. She held back and zoned out for a minute.
 
Gemma grinned as she noticed a bludger flying right towards Amelie but she was ready for it this time and rushed up to meet it. The bludger made a solid connection with her bat and she sent it flying across the pitch towards Hugo but her aim was a bit off and she ended up hitting Gabrielle by accident. @Gabrielle Perrault

Amelie thought she saw the snitch for a moment but was startled from her thoughts when she heard the sound of a bludger. She looked up, letting out a shaky sigh. "Thank you, Gemma."
 
Aramis managed to get a hand on Édelie's shot right before it made it through the hoop, though when she swung round for a second shot, he had to dive to retrieve it after it flew wide. He didn't blame her though, he'd been half distracted after Amelie had scooped up the snitch, again. "You sure you don't have it on a string or something? That's insane," he called to Amelie, throwing the quaffle back out.
 
Amelie glanced over to Aramis, a little confused, but she smiled anyway. "I'll never tell," she replied with a wink before flying off.
 
"No problem." Gemma said a little breathlessly as Amelie thanked her. She grinned, happy to be appreciated. It seemed like her luck was starting to turn as she saw another bludger and went after it. With a crack it shot across the pitch and found it's mark as it it hit Hugo in the back. @Hugo De Rosier
 
Amelie smiled at Gemma, wincing a little as she hit Hugo.
 
The bludgers found Gemma, but for Élise they were still non existant. A thing from children books, a myth, a legend.
 
Amelie continued her search for the snitch
 
Hugo yelped as the bludger hit him. He glared at Gemma, then tried to find the snitch again.
 
Gaby caught the quaffle after Édelie's missed shot, flying off with it when she suddenly got hit by a bludger to the shoulder. She grimaced at the impact, accidentally dropping the quaffle but managing to get her hand back on it right after. Trying to ignore the throbbing pain in her shoulder she continued her lap around the pitch.
 
Aramis snorted at Amelies response, shaking his head and leaning on his broom as he watched Gaby grab the quaffle, glad she was able to hold onto it even after taking a bludger.
 
Hugo's side was hurting a lot and he still hadn't caught the snitch even once. He was having a terrible day.
 
Gaby wasn’t too keen on heading back for the hoops anytime soon, not with the pain in her shoulder still very much present. Nevertheless, she knew she couldn’t hold onto it forever. So, she turned back and headed for the hoops. She took her shot once she got close enough, a little surprised to see the quaffle make it through.
 
Amelie smiled, pleased that Gabi made a shot. She was just so great. Amelie turned back to her search.
 
Hugo sighed as he realized he likely wasn't catching the snitch before practice was over.
 
Aramis wasn't fast enough to stop Gaby's shot, giving her a quick thumbs up before grabbing the quaffle to throw back out.
 
Amelie continued her search, humming softly.
 
Gemma wasn't sure if she was getting better at spotting bludgers or if they were targeting her or something, but she grinned as she saw one coming right at her. She held her ground and swung out hit the bludger towards Hugo again. She made a face as she hit him again and put her hands up in surrender and hoped he wouldn't be too mad at her. Gemma turned her attention to the chasers next, to give Hugo a break. @Hugo De Rosier

Amelie hummed softly, continuing her search for the snitch.
 
Aramis winced when he saw Hugo take another bludger. Gemma was really on a roll today and he just hoped he was staying out of her line of fire.
