Y38 Beauxbatons Practice S1

Gaby threw the quaffle at the hoops once she was close enough, giving Aramis a thumbs up when he caught her shot.
 
Gemma was feeling disheartened as she waited for a bludger to show itself. But she stayed close to Amelie just in case.
 
Everyone seemed to be doing really well, including the alternate seeker who caught the snitch twice already. Ares was glad that the beaters were going to back off a bit now as he waited for someone else to catch the quaffle.
 
Feeling pleased that she may or may not have riled up the other seeker, Amelie set off to chasing off after the snitch again.
 
Édelie was excited to see Amelie catching the snitch again. She took posession of the quaffle and looped around, hoping to throw Aramis off and get a chance to score.
 
Amelie hummed softly, relaxing as her eyes searched the skies for the snitch.
 
Hugo was frustrated that Amelie managed to catch the snitch right in front of him. He had scowled at her and quickly flew off, searching for the snitch desperately.
 
Ares watched as the captain took the quaffle, and when he saw the chance, he intercepted it and tucked it under his arm.
 
Hugo was still searching, starting to be worried. Would he be replaced if he did badly?
 
Amelie continued to search.
 
Édelie was surprised when Ares came to steal the quaffle and chased after him, eventually stealing it back. She hoped the switching would throw Aramis off.
 
Amelie continued on, humming as she searched for the snitch.
 
Aramis felt like he was back in the swing of things now that practice was really underway. He smiled back at Gaby as he managed to grab her shot before it could make it through the hoop, throwing it back out to the chasers and watching bemusedly as Édelie and Ares traded it back and forth a few times. "Make up your minds," he called to them as Édelie got closer, wondering if they were going to pass or steal again before she got to him.
 
Hugo was growing increasingly frustrated. There was still no sign of the snitch anywhere.
 
Bludger still seemed to be keeping their distance. Gemma sighed and watched the chasers for a bit. She clapped when she saw Aramis block a goal and laughed as she heard him complain.
 
Édelie laughed at Aramis, attempting to score and being blocked. Again. She felt like she hadn't actually scored since her first practice, which was rather frustrating.
 
Amelie kept searching, feeling more at ease now that she'd caught the snitch twice.
 
It looked like Édelie and Ares decided against any more tricks before getting to the hoops and Aramis just managed to knock the quaffle aside as Édelie tried to through it in. Sometimes waiting so long to react worked against him, but Aramis liked to think it made him harder to trick. Getting a better hold of the quaffle, he threw it back out to the chasers again.
 
Amelie kept looking for the snitch.
 
Édelie held back a moment to see if anyone would catch the quaffle.
 
Gemma perked up when she spotted a bludger coming her way and hit it with all of her strength. She had been aiming for Hugo and part of her felt a little bad about it but the bludger seemed to have a mind of its own and went wide. Missing her friend completely.
 
The quaffle back in play, Aramis hung back, doing a slow loop around the hoops as he kept a vague eye on the rest of the team.
 
Amelie glanced over, checking on the rest of the team before returning to her search for the snitch.
 
The switching really did seem to bother the keeper as the captain stole the quaffle off him. She didn't manage to score however and Ares just flew forward to catch it as it was thrown out into play again.
 
Finally, Élise spotted a bludger and gave it a good smash. Unfortunately it went way off and the bludger hit no one. It just acted like nothing happened. This was frustrating.
