Open The Stands

"I tried for Keeper!" Demi told the older boy, "I think Beater would be fun too, but at least as a Keeper you're less likely to be hit yourself," she said, looking up at him, "you?" He hadn't written anything in his notebook yet, although Demi wasn't sure what he meant by inspired. "What kind of things do you write about?" she pushed, wondering if she should be taking notes too about how the players were working together so that maybe she could prove to the future captain she'd be good enough to join. "Do they?" Demi hadn't noticed the boy wince at her sudden volume but now turned to watch as the Ravenclaw seeker continued to hunt for the snitch. "Isn't that the SDA leader?" she asked, vaguely recognising her from the club fair.

There were a bunch of Ravenclaws out in force today, but as his dad came to sit with him (he didn't know why he wasn't in the Slytherin section of the group) he made some room for him to sit, but didn't say anything. He did take the flag his dad had, and settled in to watch the game, his mouth then dropping in shock when the Slytherin Seeker almost immediately nabbed the snitch. Well, sometimes that was just how the game went he supposed. Disappointing though. And when his dad had sat with Gryffindor, they had lost as well. Was he a jinx? He turned to look at his dad and frowned.

@Professor Conan Edogawa

Cyrus nodded as she told him she had tried for keeper, smiling slightly as he answered. "Well, I tried for chaser, but I was thinking keeper might be fun." He admitted. Beater seemed too aggressive and seeker was just... a lot of pressure. "I write about just about everything. I write poems." He admitted, not sure if it was a smart thing to say. It was true, though. He nodded at her question. "Savannah has been on the team for a few years, she's older. The Slytherin seeker is in my year- second." He said. But then, a gasp went through the crowd as Ignatius surged forward. He grabbed the snitch and held it up. Cyrus raised his eyebrows. "Well, I stand corrected." He said, disappointed.

@Demi Zephyr

Demi wondered whether next year she'd have someone else competing for the position she wanted as the older boy said he would have found Keeper fun, too. If she did, well maybe she would have just gone for Chaser instead, it wasn't as though she minded going fast through the air either, in fact, she loved it. "Oh, that's cool," Demi didn't think she knew anyone else who wrote poems, and she hadn't read a lot but the ones she had always seemed to say so much while saying very little. "If you do write one about Quidditch, I'd like to see it!" she grinned at him, before turning back towards the match. Savannah, the boy had said, seemed to have a lot more experience than the second year, however, no sooner as he'd said that the second year caught the snitch. "Really, is that it? Is it over?" Glancing between the match and the second year stood next to her.

The last time Lilith had taken to the stands had been quite overwhelming and she had been sure there was no way she'd ever go to see another one of the games again, but somehow she found herself right there. On the stands, in the foggy and rainy weather. She didn't mind the weather, quite opposite actually. Lilith had always been quite drawn to the element of water and enjoyed the rain. As she looked for a good place to sit down on the stands she could hear the game being announced of starting and soon after motion, more specifically the distinct sound of someone gliding through the wind. Turning her head the young Ravenclaw looked at her own house team members among with those in red and gold robes soaring through the mist. A smile etched on her face, it was quite exciting she supposed.

Emery hadn't forgotten Michael's annoying comments at the start of the year because Emery had dared to wear a red shirt to a game between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, so when it happened again he couldn't resist annoying him even more. He had gotten some Gryffindors to give him red and gold face paint, he had put on one of Raawhiti's gryffindor scarves and was even holding a red and gold flag. He also made sure to sit smack in the middle of the Ravenclaw stands, as he was a Ravenclaw and he had the right to be there. Despite how he was decked out, Emery was still determined to not seem like he was into the sport. So when the match started, he sat back and opened a book to read. Glancing over it occasionally to watch Raawhiti. It seemed like Gryffindor was ahead, which was good. He really didn't want to see Raawhiti upset again.

Charlotte found her way to the very top of the stands, wanting to get a good view of the game. She didn't watch much quidditch, but it was one of those things that she had started to pick up on after starting school. The Hufflepuff had thrown on a yellow cardigan and put some ribbons in her hair, excited to see how the game would unfold.

Okay, so Conan may have made a mistake in choosing his seats in Game 1 and 2, because now both of his kids’ teams made it to Game 4. It’d been pretty difficult to decide where to sit. But he did eventually manage to find his way to the Hufflepuff stands. Not because he was a Hufflepuff himself. But mostly because he’d heard that Jonah will be playing today. He’d decided though that if Sayuri was called to play, he’d sneak his way to the Slytherin stands and call it even.

Ben found Conan in the stands and headed over to watch the game with the older professor. "I saw that score with your boy, nice shot!" he said into the mans ear as he sat down, eyes focusing on the game to make sure he doesn't miss any of the plays. Quidditch could be a very fast game, but it could be equally, frustratingly slow. "Sayuri is in Slytherin right? So you're proud either way."

Eli held Rose's hand in his as they made their way up to the stands. Cheering for Jonah as he scored. They had barely managed to make it up to the Hufflepuff stands when Jonah had scored, so they had to wait a moment for them to calm down before continuing up. Eli spotted Touchan first, and pointed him out to Rose who left his side to get to their dad quicker. Eli sat on the open side next to Mr. Kaster, who wasn't as related to him as some other members of his family, but was close enough of a relation, because his sister was married to Eli's cousin. So... he's a cousin? It's confusing. He was making a concentrated effort this semester to let Jonah know that he was here to support him. So he'd made a banner with Jonah's Hufflepuff crest on it and it said King Jonah. "Ganbatte, Jonah! Kimi nara dekiru yo!"

Rose cheered for her brother when he scored, eyes narrowing as she tried to find Sayuri on the bench but couldn't quite make her out amongst the crowds of people, they were too high up for her to get a good look. She sat next to Touchan, her fingers clenched tightly into the crook of his arm (potentially causing him some discomfort) as she tried to ignore her anxiety about being in a group to support her siblings. She didn't call out, but she hoped they would know she was here in spirit.

Todd sat rigid in the stands, dressed in yellow to support his girlfriend. It had been fun at first, but after the first bludger hit, he had to squeeze the railing. Alright, she’s okay, he told himself, but he could feel his heart pounding fast. Another bludger hit, and he shot halfway to his feet. Penny looked upset and it was pure torture for Todd to watch and not be able to do anything to help. Todd didn't like the violence in Quidditch at the best of times but today, watching the person he cared about most right in the thick of it was horrible.

Tempest was excited to support the Slytherin team, mostly because she didn’t want anyone else to win any house or quidditch cups and become insufferable. Slytherin owned that right. She had mostly worn black but had a green cardigan on as she took her seat, watching closely as the game began. It wasn't soon after that Vanity had knocked Penelope around enough that the game was paused, and Tempest gave a loud cheer as the third bludger hit. "Woooooooo," she called, a little lacklusterly.
