Alex smiled. 'No Nina. A joke is a joke. Compelte stupidity that means nothing'Alex said smiling, basicly meanign that she wasn't all serious. He nodded. 'You better or else.'he joked before goign serious. 'I mean it Nina. Or people are going to start looking at Haden getting him into more trouble than he already is in half the time,'he said looking at her.

"Alex you can trust me, I really wont tell anyone." Nina said seriously hoping he would learn to trust her more, she never told anyones secrets. "Ever." Nina said seriously but a little sad that he didn't trust her.

Alex looked at her a second more before relaxign again. He played with some more stones that were in the ground but didn't trhow them. 'I bet you can't skim a stone 5 times on the water,'Alex said back to his normal self as usual. He smiled, looking up at Nina again.

"You would loose that bet." Nina said playfully then picked up a stone and skipped it across the water and it skipped 6 times before going down.

'Wuold I? Coz unless you're going to try again, I have still won,'Alex said smiling. He flicked the flat stone in his hand and it flicked 5 times exactly before plonking in and creating circle that soon caught up with the outside of Nina's ones.

Nina smiled and picked up another stone and flicked it but it only went 4 times.

Alex smiled. 'It would help if you picked the right stone,'he said looking through some more of them. He picked a nice flat one like he had and gave it to her. 'Seems alright,'he offered.

Nina smiled and said poshly, "Why thank you, Sir Cullen." And bowed her head jokingly than happily took the stone from Alex's hands and she skipped it, it went ten times and she smirked playfully.

Alex laughed at her posh voice before looking as the stone skipped ten times. He stared amazed. 'Wow,'he said still lookign at the water suspicously now. 'Maybe it was quite a good stone,'he said jokignly before lookign at Nina. 'Nice throw,'

"Nice stone picking," Nina said happily then said, "I think that means I win." Nina stuck her toungue out playfully to him.

Alex laughed. 'I won't ever bother asking you maths questiopns then. You still haven't been able to do five yet,'he said smiling. He picked another stone and held it out for her. 'Not ten here, five,'he said sticking his tongue out back at her.

"I thought we were doing the most skips." Nina muttered than picked up a flat stone and flicked her wrist softly the it did 5 skips and Nina stuck her toungue out and said, "Take that, hunn." Nina smiled brightly.

'Aww, you win,'he said smiling and giving her a hug for no reason. He suddenly realized what he just did and bit his lip, going back to looking through stones before picking one out and flickign his wrist, sendnign the stone 11 skips before sinking. He smiled and flicked another stone, doing 7 skips. He wondered why his always ended up uneven. 'So..'he said not sure what too say.

Nina smiled as Alex hugged her and she melted in his arms and then let go of him hesitantly and watched as he skipped stones, "Alex, I don't-----" Nina started to say then said regetadly, "Nevermind."

Alex looked up but was confused at why she had cut it off. 'You sure?'he asked her now curious of what she was gonna say. He smiled and picked up another stone but didn't throw it. He didn't feel like it anymore.

"Yeah, I am sure." Nina said lying a little. Nina looked into his eyes, hoping he would jsut figure out, her eyes said, 'I like you a lot, and I hope you like me to'

Alex smiled but he was still confused. He wondered why he always seemed the most confused when he was with Nina. He looked at her. 'Okay,'he said smiling. He dropped the stone back on the ground. He wondered what time it was. He was almost exhausted but he wasn't sure if Nina was. He looked at her. 'Yeah, I was jsut umm wondering if..'he said before rethinking it. It would be too much like a hint. '..you wanted the fire out yet. It's pretty burnt out anyway,'he said changing his plans, hoping it wasn't obvioous.

Nina perked up when Alex started to speak then he mentioned the dying fire so Nina took her wand out sadly and muttered, "Aguamenti" and water shot out of her wand and set out the rest of the fire. "Finte." Nina muttered when the fire was all out. Then Nina looked down into her hands and started to figit with her wand sadly.

Alex was about to get his wand out when Nina went ahead and did it. He didn't bother saying anything though. He noticed Nina looked pretty sad. Alex bit his lip and wondered what he had done this time..again. He tried to think why he always ended up hurting people that were his freinds. It wasn't fair. 'You ok Nina? Did I say something? I'll set another fire up if you want. It's no problem,'Alex said trying to think of something.

"No I'm fine promise." Nina said giving a small smile.

'Oh, ok,'Alex said smiling and relaxing a bit. He looked at Nina leaning ono his hands. 'You figured out the task yet?'he asked curious.

"Course," Nina said with fake confidence and smiled weakly.

'You're quick.'he congratulated smiling. 'Your scared, aren't you?'he asked curious.

"Terryfied." Nina admitted softly but she didn't say why she was scared.

Alex nodded. He wasn't surprised though he guessed she was probably scared of the wrong things. 'I'm just curious but what of?'he asked her.
