Hello, hello HNZers! Wow, how long had it been since we wrote something? Sorry, we were too stumped on how Slytherin managed to weasel their way up to the top of the pack, again. What has Styx placed inside of their bowl during breakfast? Something is keeping them in line. Was it the near expulsion of the former student, she-male? Or, was it because Styx secretly takes his students to see Blaze at night, no one will ever know. At either way, we are just disgusted with how the house points. Come on, other houses, stop goofing around and get off your lazy asses. Oh, we have some awesome rumors for you too. Let’s have a read.

Does anyone hear the annoying screams of someone being an inbred pure-blood? It was hard not to hear them when Damon Kyle, fifth year prefect, managed to yell his discovery all over the damn school. This was not even important news, but what is was what we tuned in to listen. Turns out, his parents are not even dead, and he has siblings. That’s right, he was another hopeless abandoned little boy. He lucked out and got adopted, but how long is it until they get tired of you too, Damon? Here is a hint to brace you for the news: your sister, Alaska, is getting tired of you.

Here is one thing that we just don’t know about the Head Girl. Her relationship with Sergios Romanes finally blossomed, but what will happen to this girl once Sergios marries the one that he was arranged with? We are not sure, but we know one thing. She sure has been packing the food lately. It seemed as though she might have gone up a few sizes. Eating your weight in food is not going to make Sergios more attracted to you, and he sure is not going to break off what could be a good marriage for a porker. Just saying.

In more disgusting news, a certain Seventh Year Gryffindor thinks she's cool enough to land the love of a Professor. The 'Wild Child' was seen following the Care of Magical Creatures Professor down to the Forbidden Forest, in what she hoped would be a romantic, moonlit stroll. The part that is most disturbing is that Alliyah Jackson seems to think that she can woo her way to anybody, but what the daft blonde doesn't get is that no one else seems to like her as much as she likes herself; especially not the likes of Professor Stark. Merlin knows everyone is looking forward for this lot of Seventh Years to leave the school, Graduation can not come any faster. Good riddance Miss Jackson!

There is this adorable looking first year, we have all seen him. He has been hanging out with several boys as of lately, but what if there was something else going on that we don’t know about? Then again, this is rumour has it, we always know what is going on. It might be too young to tell at this point, but I think that little Avie might have a thing for boys. After making one throw rocks at him after coming on to him, you would think that he would get the memo. He has a thing for Hufflepuffs too. He is betraying everything that is a Slytherin! Avie, you need to go back home. By the way, your vision needs to be cleared up. Take a hint when someone does not like you! Otherwise, you are totally pathetic!</COLOR></FONT>

A couple of years ago, the wizarding world was shocked to hear that the Headmistress had managed to lure someone into her clutches. That's right, the over-emotional lady who seems to be constantly hyped up on some sort of over-the-top caffeine drink. Professor Davershire is still what we have to call her, as this lady is still yet to get hitched! Either the significant other has realized that Davershire has infinite space between her ears, or the divorcee is stringing the poor lad along. I don't know what it is with this school and their Professors, but they all seem to be a few house-elves short of a kitchen

Thank Merlin, we are getting rid of an old one. Finally, we have driven Professor Hensel mad enough to finally leave us, he's been here long enough. Perhaps he may have been a good Potions student, but he hasn't done the school any favours by being here. I don't know why he thought he could afford to share the few brain cells that he had, but you didn't really teach anyone anything. Good-bye and good riddance, ex-Professor Hensel. A bit of advice - don't let your mind wander - it's far too small to be let out on its own.

Do we not all have that one cousin that we just want to do things with? No? Really, this is not a tribe or in the southern regions of the United States. We heard of kissing cousins, but apparently, this is not enough for little miss Arianna Nightray and the ‘untouchable’ Liam Nightray. I think the two of them laughable. It looks like if you poke Arianna, you’ll give her cancer with how sickly she seems. Or break her bones. You know, whatever works for you. And let’s move on to Liam Nightray, who is engaged to his cousin from what we heard. Oh Liam, with how proud you seem, how you carry yourself like you are the best thing on earth since sliced bread. How laughable. Want to know how? There is absolutely nothing to be proud of. You call everyone pathetic and lowly, and you know what they say about the guiltiest dog, right? They bark the loudest. Keep it up, you Nightrays, since you are the best thing. Don’t leave or else we will run out of jokes!

[ul][li]Another arranged marriage. Apparently, Sergios started a trend. Aaren Nightray is arranged to be wed. Wow. Talk about cliche now. Yawn.</LI>
[li]No one is surprised that the lamest Quidditch team in the school has lost yet another game. Why do you even try, Hufflepuff?
[li]On the topics of Hufflepuffs that shouldn't try, Clara Antolini is the stupidest Puff around. Not convinced? Watch her next time she walks around. Rumor has it, her eyes are usually closed.
[li]Watch out for the Perseas Stratis - although he may not be a werewolf himself, rumor has it he lures people to werewolf packs, and leaves them there for dead.
[li]Does anyone even know what the hell the Second Year Fergusson is even saying?
[li]Two Ravenclaw prefects were caught snogging by the cliffs. At least the boy broke it off with his girlfriend. So, the girl, you know who you are, why not end it with your boyfriend already? Or, do you like being a cheating tramp?
[li]Zinaida, second year Hufflepuff, has been spending a lot of time with Blaine, second year Ravenclaw. Romance? Uh oh, Vladimir.
[li]Rhiannon is leading on the Stratis twins. Which will she choose? I think neither. Rumour has it, she has been getting pretty cozy with Tybalt Archer, the drama king junior with the vanishing girlfriend.
<LI>[li]Sergei seemed awfully mad about Preston Paine being a mudblood, but somehow, it seemed as though he turned his attention to Valentina Baros. Are there sparks between them or is he using her as a cover?[/li][/ul]

So there you have it kids. Owl us with any rumors - whether its something you've seen, or something you want to spread, we want it all!

It was nearing the last weeks of being in this great school. He chose to sit with his pregnant love. He was one of the only ones that knew she was even pregnant. Sergios looked down at his breakfast that he was taking great pleasure in eating, that is, until his eyes swept across a familiar looking magazine. He thought that these people were gone by now, or found a life. It seemed like that had one final spark within them before he left. He picked it up as he noticed Isabella's picture. Of course he would notice his girlfriend on the page. Upon reading, his face turned redder and redder, flushing with intense anger. How dare they call her fat! And say that he would leave her because of that! Sergios crumbled the magazine up and tossed it to the side. "I'll kill them if I knew who the hell they were!" Sergios growled before he shook his head, getting angry never solved anything.

He turned his attention to Isabella, wondering if this affected her at all. He shrugged his shoulders, before he mused, "Well, if the authors spied enough, they would have known that the engagement with that other woman was off because of... Well..." He looked at her and smiled. She knew that he was protective over her, and her current state. After all, he would not even let her play in the final game because a bludger could have killed their future daughter or son.

Tybalt was enjoying his breakfast as he sat in the Great Hall, he had a few books out in front of him, and working away. Really he didn't have time to be slacking off, but he was eating, and revising at the same time, he didn't need to be doing much else really. He was looking forward to the holidays which were coming up. He was really looking forward to them. He knew that he need to do a good number of things, but he was still looking forward to just being able to do things for fun. Purely for fun. Ty was smiling slightly. While he still had a good number of exams coming up, he could see the light at the end of this year. He knew that soon enough the year would be over, the exams would've been sat and he'd be able to just relax. With that, the Gryffindor prefect took a bite of his toast and focused on his book. This became increasinly hard as there appeared to be a commotion all around him. He glanced up from his book, and noticed that most people were reading from a bit of paper. He frowned slightly as Tybalt looked around the table for another of these sheets to see what the fuss was about.

The title cast his mind back. It had been a while since he'd last seen it, and he'd only seen a few issues. Tybalt could barely remember what they said. He knew he'd been mentioned in the last ones, but he had never felt annoyed about it. At least he couldn't remember being annoyed about it. He knew it was silly, and he didn't actually have to read it, but curiosity won out, and he read through it. Glad when all he was in it, was a brief mention because of Rhi. Now, he had been spending some time with Rhi, but there wasn't anything there, they weren't cozy. She was nice, and friendly, but he didn't think they had anything besides a friendship. It was tricky, since he had no idea where he stood with B. It was tricky. He glanced toward the hufflepuff table, but couldn't see her. He wasn't even sure what to say to her, if there was any way to talk to her about what it was they were talking about. Hopefully they were both on the same page. He sighed slightly, putting down the bit of paper and returning to his work. He could deal with it later.

Avie was not so bothered by the thought of exams, he didn't think he'd do well in them, so he wasn't really bothering with them at all. Instead he was happy doing his own thing and not paying any attention to those around him. Not that Avie had ever, he'd made a number of friends during this first year, and was very keen to come back after the break and make more. He couldn't wait to continue his education, he was really looking forward to having even more fun. He was sure that his mother wouldn't be too proud of his lower grades, but it wasn't something he cared too much about. It was all good to him. He was happy, and he was happily heading to the Great Hall to get something to eat. He had his bag on his back, filled with lots of little things for the day. He had his good thick jumper on, but also was wear shorts. He didn't knew how much running he'd end up doing. Avie was going to be putting a lot of food into his bag, before he headed out to do whatever he was going to do with his day.

Avie stopped when he was in the middle of putting in an apple into his bag, while sat near the end of the slytherin table, when he noticed another slytherin throw down a bit of paper, he reached out, and looked it over. Glancing first at the top, the title, managing to tell what the words said, his first question being who was back? Then as Avie glanced down, he noticed pictures of people that he'd seen about Hogwarts. People he didn't know but because of the size of the school, he'd seen before. Finally, near the bottom, he noticed his own picture. Avie's smile which had graced his lips all morning, changed into a frown. He liked the picture, it was a nice picture. But, he now had to find out what it was saying about him. He scratched his head slightly, he was piecing it together slowly, he had put together that it had called him adorable, and he was hanging out with guys. Which he liked, he had guy friends more than he had female friends, it was a fact. He also knew he was adorable.

Avie understood that the end was telling him to go home, but everything else, he just wasn't really piecing together. He didn't entirely mind that it was telling him to go home, since it was what he'd be doing soon anyway. Everyone was. So, Avie took the bit of paper, and stuffed it into his bag. Avie figured that he could hold on to it, until he got someone to tell him what was being said about him. with that, the boy just continued to do what he was doing. Eating a light breakfast, and putting some items in his bag for later in the day.

Rolling out of bed, the Hufflepuff, just stuck on a few layers and his shoes before sleepily heading down to the Great Hall. He'd been pretty lazy as of late, but he was feeling a lot better. His mother had finally written to him, for the first time since he'd first moved to New Zealand. Which had put the boy in an obviously good mood. He was looking forward to seeing her, and he hoped she'd bring him things from his home. He also was hoping that she was coming just so they could go back together. He was looking forward to see her, and hopefully seeing his home. It put enough excitement in the boy that he was thinking about putting more effort in this, in the last few days of term. There wasn't that much he could attempt to do anything about, but, it would hopefully carry on to the next term. Which was the hope really. Graeme sat down at the hufflepuff and poured himself a glass of milk, before glancing round for what he wanted for breakfast, it was as he did this, that his gaze was stolen by something sat just a bit from him. He picked it up, and read it over.

Graeme had grown on a small island, gone to a small school. He was used to rumours, but this was different. This was something else entirely. There was no way that this could actually be allowed by the professors. How would the person behind this even find out about any of this. It seemed strange. He couldn't really understand why a person, or people would be so interested in outing the secrets of others. It was as he came to the last bit, that he noticed his own mention. He had obviously realised that his accent was difficult to understand, that it was different from most. There wasn't much he could do when it was the only accent he'd ever really heard until New Zealand and Hogwarts. He sighed slightly. "it's no that hard" He muttered to himself. Sure, he often thought about if anyone understood him, but he figured that most did, because they never made him repeat anything. That was to him a usual indication of if they'd understood him. It made him feel a little self-conscious about how he spoke. He didn't like this gossip newsletter one bit. It didn't make him feel good, and really it made him want to go home, just so that he wouldn't have to worry about most people understanding him.

Preston was glad that the year was nearly over. It had been…interesting, to say the least what with everything that had happened. His muggleborn status was somewhat old news in his house. Most of his housemates still ignored him, but the number was much fewer than it had been before. It was as if the Slytherins didn’t seem to have the energy even to ignore him. He still didn’t speak to Sergei though, a fact that bothered him much less now than it had when the event had first taken place. Preston had also come to the realization that his relationship with Indiana had to be over. He didn’t know what he’d been expecting by way of a breakup, but he’d been expecting more of a conversation about things. Not this…just absence of her anywhere around. They’d been really good friends. He wouldn’t have expected her to really and truly just avoid him. At least, Sage had proven to be fun, though he wasn’t exactly sure what, if anything, they were. Friends, he supposed.

As he took his seat to grab some breakfast, Preston realized, with a smile on his face, that the Rumour Has It magazine was back. Preston had been mentioned in the past, always something relatively harmless, though that wasn’t the case with most of the other articles. Still, it was an amusing way to pass breakfast and he reached for a copy as he poured milk into his cereal. With a spoon in hand, Preston began to read through the articles, rolling his eyes at the Slytherin hate. Easily, the funniest article was about two cousins in the school who were into each other. Preston’s eyes widened as he read through the article and he couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Finishing his cereal as he reached the little blurbs, Preston pushed away the bowl. He continued reading, chuckling as he read the sentence on Clara. Obviously, someone had seen their altercation. He shook his head, remembering the stupid girl’s blubbering apology. It was the last article that gave Preston pause. He read it through twice before he spoke aloud, not to any particular person. “A cover for what?” he stated, confusion on his face. He repeated before an older Slytherin laughingly explained what the blurb was trying to say. Preston reddened, shaking his head as he sputtered a denial. “No way! That… that’s bulls**t” he stated, his voice pitching high as he finished. Is that what people really thought about him and Sergei? Preston couldn’t believe it. He stood up, leaving the Great Hall with a copy of the magazine still clutched in his hands. When he finally realized what he was holding, he threw the paper on the floor. Preston needed to be alone and away from the eyes that seemed to be following his retreat.

Whispers flooded the Great Hall when Benjamin stepped in. He rubbed his eyes lazily and fought down a yawn that threatened to come out. Really, he did not want to appear disheveled when his hair and outfit were on point. Benjamin was ready for another day as Head Boy and if needed, ready to scold another group of first years trying to make a point by sneaking in the Forbidden Forest. He glanced at the people who were huddled in groups. Most of them were pointing at something. It looked like a booklet of some sort and really, Benjamin almost ignored the whispers he thought he was imagining to be super loud across the room. Sighing, he trudged over to his usual spot in the Slytherin table, where there were Slytherins whispering and snickering at the same old booklet. When he came closer to his usual spot, he saw there an unopened copy of what everyone marveled about. It was another edition of the Rumor Has It magazine and Benjamin mouthed a curse that nobody could hear. He looked if Kialla was around so he could ask if she saw anyone place the copies on the table before he spotted them. She was not in sight and all alone by himself, he sat down on the bench, momentarily ignoring the delicious assortment of breakfast before him and got a copy of the elusive RHI. If some were snickering, then there must be something juicy in it that could make him feel either amused or irritation.

The entries were not as much, but they were enough for the student body to browse through. He got some fruit and ate it down whilst his green eyes scanned the words and the brutally honest messages RHI was trying to tell its readers. Well, he could not really disagree. He was glad he was not chosen to be one of its victims because the last thing he needed was to be the laughing stock of Hogwarts whilst he still had the Head Boy badge on. He read on, his lips quirking with amusement with every article. He snorted when he was done, smirking and snickering to himself. It was stupid, but who could say no to childish jokes once in a whilst? As usual RHI did an excellent job to maintain its secretive nature, however he thought that the author had already graduated Hogwarts. Perhaps she left a successor and well, Benjamin was not keen on catching her identity. He assumed it was a 'her,' for the sake of the magazine's seemingly feminine voice. Whoever it was, Benjamin was not going to go on a mission to find her. He was not a noble Gryffindor and the magazine was not affecting him in any way.

Gossiping was never Victoria Chase's number one hobby. Sure, she liked knowing the secret details of certain someones, especially if they were a part of the long list of people she purely looked at with distaste. However Victoria took more pleasure in spreading those rumors than reading about them. It made her feel more accomplished. This morning, Victoria walked into the Great Hall only twenty minutes before classes started. She woke up rather later than normal and she had only 20 minutes to eat the fruits she normally ate for breakfast. To her surprise there were lots of students still, holding a magazine in their hands and their eyes were filled with interest. Some were of shame and guilt and embarrassment. The mix was too much to hold and Victoria decided to fill herself in. Normally people at this time were going out of the Great Hall to get their bags and head to their assigned classrooms. She was only beginning her breakfast and what more to enjoy it than to see what the hell was driving Hogwarts up its own walls for once.

Then she saw it. With the title of Rumor Has It, there was a magazine placed beside her utensils and Victoria nibbled her lips in curiosity. She was always so curious about the things she did not know and sometimes, it killed her not to be aware of something. Without resisting, Vee did not hesitate to sit down and enjoy her brief breakfast (composing of a single orange) with the infamous RHI magazine. She popped the small slices of oranges in her mouth as she quietly read the lines the author wrote about each and every individual spotlighted. The messages were harsh and merciless and of course, everybody knew that RHI was not for the sensitive people. Their choice of people to talk about was not too surprising because some of them were ridiculous even. She came across some words about purebloods and frankly, Victoria was not so sure whether to laugh or not. These were the people of her kind but the way they were mentioned was not in a good light. Most were ridiculous and Victoria was glad she was not in the article. If there was any slight mention of herself, she would have thought what she was doing in this school was ridiculous as well. She assumed not, because currently she was being a behaved student. Victoria's lips were in a smirk as she ended her reading and her orange too. She had four minutes before classes started and the people around her were beginning to decrease in number. Reluctantly she forced herself up and tucked the magazine in her robes. Bringing this home would be good. Reading through it whenever she felt down would surely be an amazing mood lifter.

Maya removed herself from her comfortable and warm bed with a sigh. She had always hated winter, but she didn't like summer either and she had yet to find a nice little balance that made her feel exuberantly happy. Of course she couldn't complain too much, because at least in winter she didn't tend to get burnt and she did like snow. However it never snowed in Alice Springs, it just didn't get cold enough, so she had actually never seen snow in real life, it was just ice and sludge and freezing cold rain. Not that it rained much in Alice Springs, or really got all that cold to be honest. Maya quickly pulled on some sufficiently warm clothes and pulled her hair up into a pin. She was getting used to brushing her own hair. Even after this amount of time without her mother, she would have thought she would have gotten used to it by now, but it was only recently that she was actually able to do it quickly. Perhaps it was a sign of something? She didn't know, but she did know that she was hungry and if she wanted to get any decent food, she was going to have to move it to the Great hall now.

Arriving at the Great Hall, the first thing to catch her attention was the commotion in the room. As a first year, she was used to the upper years knowing and whispering about things she didn't understand, but this was different, there was something she wasn't quite seeing. As she made her way to the Hufflepuff table, she noticed that a few of the people had their faces stuck in some sort of magazine. Curious, Maya sat herself down with the other first years and borrowed the magazine off of one of her house mates. Flipping it open, Maya began to sift through the words, frowning at what she saw. This was just so wrong. Why would anyone feel the need to be so disrespectful in this way. Everyone had a right to their secrets, right? That was what Maya had always been taught. She flipped the pages again and came to a comment made about her friend. She frowned even more and immediately looked up to see if she could find him. Her eyes settled on Graeme and she stood up to move around the table to sit with him. She patted him on the head and smiled. "I understand you, Graeme!" She then poked him in the arm, trying to cheer him up.

Much to her displeasure, Ally had a class for today. The thought of it made her groan all throughout the process of fixing herself up before she entered the Great Hall to gather herself the first meal of the day. It was a tedious process - staying in Hogwarts against her will - however graduation was within her reach. After finally getting that diploma that would not even guarantee her a financially stable spot in the wizarding world or even in the muggle one, Alliyah was sure to be more than glad to get the hell out of here. Initially she loved it in Hogwarts. Everything was at peace to her young, naive mind when all of a sudden that fairytale was taken away from her by Harsh Reality. Ally was suddenly so aware about their judgmental society and how one, wrong yet small move can be quickly taken against you. Her time in Hogwarts had expired ever since she entered her sixth year and right now, she was only waking up everyday to finish her studies to pursue a life of finding herself in her own, lawless way.

She figured coming back for her schoolbag was a much better option than carrying it all the way down to the Great Hall. Descending, Ally noticed the stares she was receiving by the younger students and how they either glared or snickered. She responded with a raise of her brow and when she reached the end of her descent, she noticed students exiting the Great Hall with a magazine in their hand. It was so familiar that when Ally looked at it, she gasped to herself. "Holy sh*t," muttered Ally and she power walked to the hall that smelled delicious but the aura it held was nasty and little did she know, it was about to attack her.

Rumor Has It was back. Yes, that was the massive news Hogwarts got. The magazine was silly and if you were not a part of it, you would have laughed your ass off. However, victims of RHI were treated negatively. Ally refused to be left outdated, so she snatched a forgotten copy from the Gryffindor table and sat down on the bench. Her attention span was fully taken by the magazine before her and there was curiosity bubbling in her gut. She opened and read the brief message of the writer to its readers, mentally rolling her eyes. She read and had to admit that each article was rather interesting in a very no brainer manner. She thought that was the end of it when she finally spotted her own face and her lips parted in unpleasant surprise. She had no time to react loudly like she thought she could and instead, buried herself for the next minute or so reading what it had written about her. As usual, its message was something that everyone would have to say was harshly frank and Ally recalled her moment with Professor Stark; a man who could do more things by using his looks alone. She searched the staff table and wondered if he saw what was written about her. She was no wh*re and it was not like she planned to sleep with him there on the forest grounds. Ally looked around and caught the gazes of several students. Now was not the time to leave, embarrassed. Rather, she preferred walking out with her pride. Ally was hurt in the inside, but she knew she would see the last of her classmates and this damn school soon. Worrying about her reputation now was not going to do anything for her. "Well kids, that's how you bag yourself your own professor. Go to the forest and expect them there. You won't be disappointed." She shrugged neutrally and dropped the magazine beside the plate she thought she was going to use. A few rolled their eyes at her and she plastered a forced smile with her chin held high. More rumors would probably circulate the school in just a few hours about her being pregnant this time and well, Ally was certainly going to ignore it. That was the best, mature thing she could do.

Admittedly, Speed rarely ate breakfast in the Great Hall, as he personally didn't like spending time indoors with large groups of people. However, the day was slightly overcast with the possibility of a serious storm, which meant that he best avoid the outdoors for a while and be more sociable towards his fellow professors. It wouldn't hurt to have a meal with the rest of the school on occasion, would it? As he sat down, however, he came to the realisation that the students seemed buzzed, with some looking horrified, while others were busy reading a magazine of some sort. He finished collecting his food, and noticed that the magazine was that Rumour Has It thing again. He had not seen it for a while - and had naively thought that the author/s had graduated and that they were rid of this. However, this appeared to not be so, and he slouched slightly, finding this to be agitating. Yet again, whoever made this magazine had avoided detection, and it was surprisingly difficult to track them. While still picking at his food, he perused over one of the magazines, his brow creasing.

Speed shook his head at the magazine, finding it incredibly harsh. This was definitely not something that the students should be subjected to during breakfast, it would only start trouble and his heart went out to all the students involved with this rubbish. He recognised a few names, one being Miss Alliyah Jackson, who had certainly been a handful of trouble in that forest. Fortunately, the magazine was not spreading unsavory rumours that would surely get him fired, and was merely being cruel. It was still a terrible thing, but hopefully Alliyah would overcome this with grace. She was a seventh year, and should be capable of behaving maturely.

He tossed the magazine to the side and returned to his breakfast. As of yet, no fights had occurred, however some students had walked out distraught, while others were seeking the comfort of friends. He saw another student stand within his peripheral vision as he took a sip of his water, but paid little attention to them, until the girl spoke - and what she had to say certainly brought his attention to her. After having a minor coughing fit when his water went down the wrong way, he watched her with wide eyes at what she was implying. What in the name of Merlin was wrong with her? "Dear Merlin," he muttered, before he snapped his hanging mouth shut and watched as the students reacted. Though there was still food on his plate, Speed had no plans on remaining as he felt claustrophobic, and decided that he would prefer to just return to grading. Without uttering a word, the professor stood from his seat, and left the Great Hall for the outdoors. Besides, the authors of he magazine had caused enough trouble with their magazine, and he had no desire to create more with his presence.

It was a pretty normal day for Arianna Nightray. Since morning, she had busied herself in the library, mostly burying her nose in books that she mostly found interesting, which was to say quite a lot. But it was fine with her. She hadn't spent any time with people she knew lately anyway, especially after the little incident in the Seventh Floor with Liam and a Hufflepuff named Ai. She really didn't know how that ended, but with the sight of a lot of people at the time, she could only guess that it had not gone well. Today was one of those times that she thought about it and would just sigh about how downhill it all just went. It was supposed to be a simple tour with Liam after all, until they met the Hufflepuff. And then she just had to be an idiot to introduce herself as the Slytherin's fiancee. Well, she did have to keep being a Nightray a secret as per her grandmother's orders, but that didn't go as well as she had initially hoped. That was probably the most epic failure that she had ever since she entered Hogwarts New Zealand and that was not a good thing.

Deciding that she couldn't concentrate anymore because of her train her thoughts, Ria closed the book and put it back before heading to the Great Hall to grab something to eat. She was hungry after all, though as she walked, she wasn't as oblivious as one would most frequently mistake her for. Of course she noticed the subtle fingers being pointed at her and the soft murmurs as she passed by through the corridor, though not finding anything about her to talk about, she dismissed her observation and nonchalantly entered the Great Hall. It was a surprise to her though that it seemed as if the place was almost filled with students holding magazines and reading them. Some looked distraught, some were snickering and others were trying to blatantly ignore it. The Gryffindor had to admit though that the whole ordeal was making her curious. She was a transfer after all, and this was the first time she had seen a lot of students in a buzz when it's not even a feast. And so, against better judgment, she seated herself at the Gryffindor table and got herself a copy of the magazine that everyone was talking about. Rumor Has It.

Arianna rolled her eyes at the title. Who would've taught that the school had this kind of stuff? she thought to herself, But then again, the author's anonymous so it's probably not allowed. Ria let her eyes read through the pages, her gaze landing on pictures of people she barely recognized or knew. Well, until her eyes laid on a picture of her and Liam. She could've sworn her eyes nearly bulged out because of the title. Kissin' Cousins?! We never kissed! she thought to herself as she read the article. The petite girl couldn't help but squeeze the pages though as her mind proceeded to process the words being seen by her eyes. She knew she was sickly, but she was not that sickly! She was sure that this magazine was way over exaggerating. She never had cancer and she never broke a bone yet and she was quite sure it wouldn't happen with just someone poking her! She didn't have problem with human contact! Though as angry as she was, she was also thinking about Liam. She knew what would happen if he ever gets his hands on a copy after all, though she wouldn't mind letting the Slytherin do as he pleases. In fact it would be a wonderful sight because this author just accused them of having an incest relationship. And once again, Ria's eyes widened in realization. "Holy cr@p! Mother of Merlin!" she said.

In a matter of seconds, the Gryffindor bonked her head on the table and let her head rest there. How could she be so stupid?! Now the whole school knew that she was a Nightray! Her grandparents were going to send her off again if they found out about this. No. They were going to murder her if they found out because it was too public and they would consider it as too much of a disgrace! Ria groaned out in frustration before settling herself into a proper sitting position once again. She breathed deeply before thinking of what she should do for the moment. Well, there was nothing to do about the magazine. She just had to make sure that the news don't reach her grandparents, she could probably beg Armin to stay quiet, and maybe Aaren too? Well, she decided to save that for later, because for now she knew she had other things to do. She had to apologize to Liam for dragging him into this mess after all. And so, she stood from her seat and walked around to try and find her cousin as she tried to blatantly ignore the stares she was getting. "I hope he doesn't go into a killing spree without me if he finds out about this," she muttered as she looked for Liam.

Abel had been attempting to avoid eating with large groups of people. He had never liked crowds, and his disdain of them had not ceased since his attack. The only remotely positive thing that came from this was the fact that he knew he could trust his best friend, Killua, with anything, since he had taken Abel's situation surprisingly well. Perhaps a little too well. It had reached the situation where Killua knew more about werewolves than Abel himself did, going so far as to make sure he was eating the right food. Abel hated eating meat. It was a total change in his diet and he just wanted to go back to eating rubbish again. With bags under his eyes from a poor nights rest last night, Abel sat down at the Slytherin table near Killua, and began placing food he looked to eat on his plate, making sure to put on some meat. He looked at Killua curiously as he realised that the Slytherin table was buzzing, and that was when he noticed the parchment being shown around, and what was left on the table. Still picking at his food, Abel took and issue, and read through it, his eyebrow raising at some of the accusations the magazine held. He could not help but feel relieved that there was nothing of him, or anything he really cared about within the magazine.

He did, however, take notice when a fellow member of his year and house, Preston, left in what appeared to be a huff, probably from what the magazine had suggested. He rarely spoke to Preston these days, but had done so in the past. One part of him wanted to follow the boy, and see if he were okay. Long ago had Abel abandoned his previous opinion of mudbloods muggle-borns. But he eventually decided to let him go, and just leave himself. The Slytherin didn't want to be here, and was no longer hungry. He turned to his friend,Killua, and informed him that he was going for some air, and left the Great Hall before he could witness anyone else becoming upset. This was no way to start the day.

Rosie wasn't really hungry this morning, but she knew that if she didn't eat anything she'd be suffering for it later. So attempting to swallow at least a couple mouthfuls of food was her whole reason for being down in the Great Hall to begin with. For some reason or another, the hall itself seemed to be bustling with life. It was actually a lot noisier than it usually was during this time of day. "I wonder if something is going on that I don't know about." Either that or the student body was excited that exams were over. Rosie attempted to ignore the excitement for a little bit so she could work on finishing her food, but her attempts to ignore it seemingly made the Great Hall only get that much louder. Rosie swallowed one last bite of her sandwich and pushed it aside. There was too much going on for her to focus on eating right now. The Ravenclaw Prefect figured she might as well try to figure out what all the excitement was about. Rosie leaned over and noticed magazines sitting everywhere. They had pictures of students on it, and it was called Rumor Has It. What was this all about? She'd have to read and take a peek because she hadn't heard of this thing before.

"Can I borrow this?" Rosie asked the student next to her as she took one of the magazines. Rosie opened it and let her chocolate brown eyes scan the material. The more she read, the more she began to feel sick. These things were just horrible! Why would someone go around and write these things about other people without taking how they would feel into account? The worst part was, Rosie couldn't tell if the things written were true or not. It wasn't until Rosie read a little section on the side that she really lost it. The part mentioning the two Ravenclaws on the cliffs kissing, whom had significant others stunned Rosie, were they talking about her and Bryce? They had kissed that day on the cliff, sure. But Rosie wasn't a tramp. She had no idea that Bryce was going to kiss her! Maybe it was about some other couple? Rosie prayed that it was, because she didn't her personal live thrown around. Setting the magazine down, Rosie got up from the table and headed out of the Great Hall. Right now she was too mad to focus on eating or being around her classmates.

Zinaida entered the Great Hall and immediately found herself growing concerned by the amount of activity going on. "What's going on in here?" Zinaida asked as she stepped further into the hall and peered around. The red head glanced towards Blaine curiously, wondering if he had any idea what was causing the commotion. Sometimes the Great Hall was packed and quite loud because everyone was there at one time, but this was normally one of the quieter times. Plus it seemed to her like everyone was mad or something. "Let's go find out what's going on." Zinaida tugged on Blaine's sleeve and they walked further into the Great Hall. Eventually, she noticed this magazine-like thing that everyone was reading, and wondered if this was the cause of everyone getting so riled up. Grabbing a copy, she motioned for Blaine to come over and read it with her. So far, it was mostly stories about people she couldn't care less about. Older students or kids she had never met personally. For all she knew, these stories could be totally fake too. Some of them were sort of funny too. But she resisted the urge to laugh. Finally, she did scan something of interest.

"Uh oh." Her eyes met with Blaine's. She was sure he had read the same thing. The whole thing about them hanging out with one another. It wouldn't have been bad if the author hadn't thrown the word 'romance' at the end of it. They were trying to avoid Vladimir finding out that they had been hanging out with one another a lot. Bur with this thing floating around it wouldn't be long before he knew something was up. "We better pray that Vladimir doesn't read this crap. Chances are, he might not even care enough to look at it. But god help us if he gets curious." Zinaida balled the magazine up and tossed it aside before she motioned for Blaine to follow her. Sneaking out of the Great Hall in hopes that Vladimir wasn't around, was the best and only option right now.
