Hufflepuff Practice Y39/S2

Jordie flew back to the hoops, and tried to throw it again. He scowled as Linden caught it. Jordan won't score any points for Hufflepuff. He thought with a scoff.

Lucas grunted in pain as a bludger hit him. He supposed he should have expected one sooner or later. He rubbed his side and then went on looking for the snitch.

Determined now to score at least once, Jordie snatched the quaffle as it was thrown in and started back around again.

Jordie groaned when Linden yet again caught his throw. God, he was terrible at this.

René stuck out his tongue in concentration as he approached the next bludger, swinging wide to try and angle it towards Connor again. He must have misjudged the angle though, as the bludger took off towards the team, but headed straight for @Blair Silver instead.

Amy x1
Blair x1
Connor x1
Jordan x1
Linden x1
Lucas x1

Lucas grimaced, still in pain from the bludger. He wanted to catch the snitch again, so he kept looking around for it.

René had to duck when one of the bludgers shot past him, not having his bat ready in time to try and hit it anywhere.

"Good try, Jordie!" Amy called out, catching the quaffle as it was thrown back into play. She was pleased to see Rene was getting some good shots in, hoping that he could do the same in the match.

Jordie sighed, taking a few moments to breathe. He'd have to see about extra training if this kept up.

Amy was tempted to give Jordie another shot, but he looked like he needed a break, so she continued flying for a bit longer, keeping an eye out to see where Blair was too.

René blew out a breath, shaking his head and tucking in close to his broom as he took off after another bludger.

Not seeing anyone else, Amy went up to the hoops again and was pleased when the quaffle went through.

The bludger turned too sharply and while René was just able to knock it aside with his bat, it spun off and down, missing any of the players easily.

At least the others could score for them. Jordie swooped in and snatched the quaffle as Linden threw it out again. He needed to score.

Rounding back on the bludger he'd mis-hit earlier, René was pleased when he got a much better angle this time, managing to send it straight towards @Connor Holland.
Amy x1
Blair x1
Connor x2
Jordan x1
Linden x1
Lucas x1

Jordie was determined, setting his teeth as he came back around. He tried to fake out Linen this time, and couldn't help but throw his hands up in victory when it actually worked. "Finally!" He relaxed. Okay, he just needed to keep that up.

Lucas spotted a golden glint and grinned, flying forward quickly, grabbing the snitch. He held it up in the air. "Yes!"

Linden watched the 'game' unfolding from the goals watching the chasers coming too and fro. he wasn't really paying much attention to the beaters, that is until he felt a sharp pain in his side when he was hit by the bludger. and flew off target. he then made sure to watch everyone else as they played as well. which wasn't a bad thing. it meant that he could watch the beaters and seeker. when the chasers were on the other side of the pitch. the game went on like that for a while before Jordie came at him again. "Woo good shot Jordie" he said as it came flying through the hoop before he could get to it. another cheer caught his attention as he threw the ball back in. Lucas had again caught the snitch. "Yay Lucas" he called looking at the seeker and grinning.

Tilly wasn't feeling all that great after the start of the semester. Her head was stuffy and she was still fighting off some dizziness. She was horrified to find out that she'd slept in, far beyond the start of practice. Haphazardly throwing on her Quidditch gear, she raced down to the pitch. The girl was positively covered in sweat by the time she got there. She mouthed an embarrassed apology towards Connor and Amy as she shot up into the air.

Lucas grinned at Linden as he cheered for him. He let go of the snitch so he could chase it again.

Wanting to build on his last success, Jordie swooped in and caught the quaffle again. He started around the pitch, keeping half an eye out for one of the other chasers.

Linden watched as the players continued to play keeping an eye on his goals. as Jordie took the quaffle again and Tilly joined them. he wasn't excited to see more beaters on the training pitch as he could still feel the bruise forming from where he had been hit. but he was glad that she was here to join the rest of the team.

René circled the pitch, trying to keep the more focused approach to aiming that he'd been working on. It immediately flew out the window though when he saw Lucas on the move again, in awe to see he'd snagged the snitch for a third time.

Lucas kept flying around, looking for the snitch.

René switched his attention back to the bludgers, trying to aim his next hit towards Lucas. He was a hard target to hit and René's aiming didn't seem to help him much as the bludger shot wide.
