Gryffindor practice

Lysander hadn't thought he'd flown far from Willow, but only when she shouted out did he realise he'd totally missed a bludger Jacob had sent her way. "Oh, I'm sorry!" He called out to her, unsure if she even knew he was there trying to defend her. He sped forward as another bludger caught his eye, and he managed to strike it with the intent to send it back Jacobs way. Instead, much like the previous one, it veered completely off course and spiraled towards Fleur instead.

Noel smiled as he got a compliment from Jacob. That did him good. He followed as Fleur went to their side of the hoops but Christian managed to get it and he smiled. It was just practice but a little competition never hurted he figured. When Sully got the quaffle he smiled bright and tried to do his best to go along in case he needed to pass or he could use help.

Jacob was watching the team move just as much as he was watching out for bludgers. He gave another one a hit, sending it away from the chaser he was tailing. Jacob saw a lot of good stuff but also saw areas where the team needed to improve.

Willow heard Lysander apologise you have to defend the whole team not just the seeker. I wasn’t paying attention. she said. Before flying off to look for the snitch At the other end of the pitch. Maybe it was the lighting but there was no hint of it there

Although Willow had already been hit, the rest of the game seemed to be moving slowly. Sierra supposed it was good, there wasn't a lot of exciting things to distract her with. The Gryffindor girl continued to fly around, looking for the gold flying thing.

Summers kept his eye out for another bludger. He thought he'd done well in his practices over the holidays, but it wasn't showing as much as he'd hoped now. Hitting the bludgers wasn't difficult, but getting them to go where he wanted was. In the meantime, he focused on simply keeping them away from people.

Sully saw Noël flying with him as they approached the goal, but after Noël had already scored, Sully wanted to try on his own. As Sully approached the hoops, he found again that slowing down enough to get a good shot in was tricky, lobbing the quaffle and grimacing as it flew wide as he turned his broom in a tight corner. He gave Noël an apologetic shrug and waited for Ren to throw it back in to team Scarlet.

Fleur winced when a bludgermade contact with her, she hadn't spotted it in time, and it had hit her in the side. She grimaced, but kept flying. She knew it was part of practice. Sully was near the hoops, and Fleur hoped to intercept the quaffle before he managed to score. But as she approached, he already threw the quaffle. Fleur was relieved when it went wide, and took the quaffle from Ren, ready to try again.

Lysander paused his search to watch Solomon attempt to score, and frowned when he didn't manage to get it through. Turning his attention back to the game, he sped off towards a distant bludger.

Willow kept flying to try and find the snitch. She could see Sierra doing the same thing for team red. She kept looking. But there was no sign of it.

Fleur flew up to the hoops again, giving Christian a grin before attempting her next goal. She aimed for the left goal, and her grin widened when she saw the quaffle sail through the hoop. She beamed. "Yes!"

Jacob was glad that everyone seemed to be getting more serious as they continued to practice. The early banter was giving way as everyone began practicing to their position. Jacob took a swing of the bludger, watching as it went right at Noel and hit him. Having grinned and then leaned forward on his broom to seek another.

Noel flew along with Sully and was sad to see he missed. He wanted his friend to have it, he believed he could.
'' You can do it Sully let's get it again.'' He than said with a thumbs up. And he flew along with Fleur trying to get the quaffle from her but she was fast and more experianced. He noticed her scoring and was glad she was good because he wanted to win the game. But he wanted to win this practice as well. So made him ready to take the quaffle from Christian. But than a bludger came out of nowhere and hit him in the side. Auch! This hurted, he never had been feeling a bludger but now he did. And now he knew how it felt. He tried to find his balance and hoped it would stay with one time. He still asked for the quaffle and took it under his arm. He had to score! And quickly.

Sierra cheered when Fleur scored, and was about to cheer again when she saw Jacob hit the bludger, but her attention was taken to the small golden ball flying close by. Sierra took off and reached forward, pushing her broom as fast as it could go. With a triumphant cry, Sierra closed her fingers around the Snitch. Slowing her broom, she turned around and showed the snitch in her hand. "I did it!"

Willow kept flying her eyes searching for the snitch. But no luck. When a cheer came from below her she looked up to see that fleur has scored. She smiled. It didn’t matter that fleur was on team red today. She was glad that she had scored. She kept searching. But could not see the elusive bit of gold at least not until she heard a shout from Sierra. She flew over to the girl. wahay congratulations.” she congratulated the other seeker. Putting her hand up for a high five. i guess give it a minute head start the. Go again. she said hoping that she would be the next to catch and she wasn’t about to be shown up by the younger girl.

Lysander had lost track of which team was ahead. He was too busy focused on his hunting to know who'd scored and who'd failed. Keeping track of who was on his team in the first place was hard enough. The boy swung his bat at a nearby bludger and sent it sailing toward the only nearby player he was absolutely sure was on the other team, which happened to be Jacob, and smiled sheepishly when it hit.

Sully tried not feel discouraged that Noël had scored when he hadn't following him and Fleur as they made their way back up the pitch. He groaned when Fleur managed to get past their keeper this time giving their keeper a resigned shrug. "Better luck next time, mate," He called, turning to where Noël had the quaffle just in time to see him struck by the bludger. Sully hissed in sympathy, following Noël up the pitch in case he needed back up. "Oi, that looked like it hurt, way to take it like a champ!" He called to Noël.

Sierra grinned and high fived Willow, feeling incredibly proud of herself. She let go of the snitch and closed her eyes for a bit, so she couldn't follow where it went. After what felt like a whole year, Sierra opened her eyes, and started her hunt again.

Noel flew to the other side of the pitch and figured he should make haste and tried to score. But he missed! The pain in his side hurted more than he wanted. This feeling was new. He at least tried.

Willow watched as Sierra let go of the snitch and waited until it has gone so far she had lost sight of it she the. Started flying in the general direction of where it had gone keeping her eyes open and searching. She wasn’t going to pay attention to the rest of the game as she wanted to catch it now to keep her pride in tact.

Sierra kept her eyes as focused as she could, looking for the little golden flying ball. If she caught it once, she could catch it again!

Sully could tell Noel was probably hurting as they approached the hoops, and sadly Ren was able to block this shot. "Next time, bud," Sully said, flying up so he could give Noel a (gentle) pat on the back, waiting for the quaffle to come back into play.

Jacob yelped when the bludger clipped him in the elbow. That had hurt! Practice seemed to be going very well, and as he nursed his elbow, he could only just manage to keep a bludger away from himself. He would call the practice soon but everyone seemed to be finding their groove.

OOCOut of Character:
Just a few more days!

Willow kept flying keeping her eyes open trying to find the snitch. she saw it and flew towards it but it vanished before she had covered half the distance.

Sully waited carefully for Ren to throw the ball in, finding the perfect gap to swoop in and snag the quaffle and back up some, looking for a good opening to take the shot.
