Gryffindor Practice Game

Willow kept flying and kept looking but there was no sign of the gold ball

Noel saw that Chloe had caught it now. He looked at Sully for a moment and followed Chloe as well, perhaps there was a chance to steal the quaffle away.

Chloë looked behind her for a second to notice both Sully and Noel closer than she would like the other team's chasers to be. So, she tried to see if she could speed up even more as she turned around to head back towards the hoops, deciding to take her shot when she came close enough. To her own surprise, she managed to get the quaffle past Christian. "Woooo!" Chloë put one fist up in the air as she let out a happy cheer, turning around to look at the other chaser's with a proud grin on her face before she got back into position. She knew the gold team was still ahead with 140 points, but at least she had managed to score a goal for team scarlet, and for their chaser squad in general.

Sully couldn't help but be disappointed Chloë had managed to score before he had, but then again she'd been put on the team for a reason. It sucked that Scarlet team had managed a goal first, but chaser team finally had a point on the board which was worth celebrating. "Go Chloë!" He called, flying close enough for a high-five before scooping the quaffle up from Christian.

Lysander cheered as Chloë managed to score the first point for Scarlet team. Gold may have been way ahead, but all they needed was one snitch catch from Sierra to take the lead. Lysander sped away, keeping an eye out for Willow in case she spotted the snitch again, so he could help the scarlet seeker beat her to it instead. To make things more exciting, a bludger was rocketing around nearby, ripe for the picking. Willow had challenged him, and he'd already targeted the opposing chasers, so the boy lined up a shot and gave the metal ball a hard whack, directing its course into the Gold seeker instead.
@Willow Cullen

Noel saw how close Chloe came and she managed to score. Noel betrayed himself on cheering, but it was the first goal Chloe ever made. He could understand her happiness. And finally the chaser squad made some success. '' Good job Chloe!'' He than said with an smile. '' Now you Sully!'' Noel than cheered his friend on and flew close to him to back him up.

Willow spotted it. and started to fly towards a flitting glint of gold. She didn't get very far when she felt a hard bump as if someone had elbowed her hard in the side of the ribcage knocking her spinning of course. once she had stabilised she looked to see where the bludger was coming from. a smirk spreading. "Good shot summers. that is an extra point for team beater. does that out you guys in second place behind team keeper" she called wincing slightly as she shouted. he really had hit hard.

Chloë was proud she had managed to score a goal. Not just because she was the first one to score for 'team chaser', but also because it was the first goal she had made now that she was officially part of the team. It felt nice to have managed to get one through and hear the others cheer her on. She happily high-fived Sully back as he passed her and turned around to follow him as he took possession of the quaffle.

It was tempting to go for another goal himself, especially now that Chloë had one in, but Sully had a feeling it might be smarter to try and chance things up. "Noel, catch," He called, passing the quaffle to him in the hopes that he had a better shot at goal. @Noel Waldgrave

Noel flew along with Sully and when he passed the quaffle he was glad he paid good attention. He went to fly to the the hoops and hoping to get a good shot soon. They needed to practice playing together as well so it was an good idea to pass it to eachother.

Chloë stuck close to the chasers for team gold as they made their way across the pitch. She tried to intercept when Sully passed the quaffle to Noel but didn't manage as it had been a solid pass. Instead, she continued to chase Noel as he made his way towards the hoops.

Noel tried again but when he got closer to the hoops he failed again. He missed but it was really close. This time he was really gettin irritated. He gave a thumbs up to Christian but this was not hopefull.

Sully laughed excitedly when he spotted Chloë on their tail, glad she was keeping up, but more glad they managed to get their pass through. It was a bummer when Noel didn't make the shot, but Sully was secretly relieved it hadn't been him. "Next one, bud, we got this," He said assuredly, more determined now to have a go, watching for Christian to throw the quaffle back in.

Lysander grinned, pleased to hear Willows compliment. "Yeah! We're the best!" He laughed, looking around for reassurance from the others. Beater squad was where it was at. He was glad he wasn't one of the ones trying to get a quaffle past the keeper. It looked harder than finding the snitch.

Chloë scooped in to catch the quaffle as Christian threw it and moved away from the hoops once again. She looked around to see if she’d be able to pass it to Knox, figuring Sully had the right idea in getting some more passes in.

Defense wasn't nearly as glamourous as scoring with the quaffle, but Sully still found it fun to fly after Chloë, keeping the pressure on in case she tried to pass.

"Nooooo" Sierra called back at Willow, definitely not having any luck. She cheered when Lysander hit her with a bludger, loving the competitiveness that was coming out of everyone.

Even if she tried Chloë wasn’t able to find the right moment to pass the quaffle to Knox with the other chaser’s so close on her tail. Instead, she sped towards the hoops and threw the quaffle towards the left one with all her might. Whether she had been struck by a moment of luck or had just chose the right hoop at the right time she let out another cheer as the quaffle sailed past their keeper and through the hoop. She hadn’t thought that she could get happier than she was after her previous attempt, but right now she was just beaming with pride at having managed to score two times in a row.

Lysander cheered when Chloë scored another goal, stopping his flight to clap. "Woo! Go Team Scarlet!" He whooped, dropping his hands back down to grab his broom and continue searching for another bludger to hit.

Your action (hit) was successful!
...but the bludger went off course, and you hit another player, instead!
Emma had been struggling all practice and was having trouble keeping track of everything that happened. She finally managed to hit a bludger, and had been aiming at Noel, but instead the bludger hit @Chloe Thompson instead, who was a chaser of their own team. Emma grimaced. "Sorry!" She called out, feeling embarrassed.

Willow heard sierras shoot they she was having no luck either. i promise it is there somewhere and that I didn’t sneak it in my pocket she shouted back. Hey eyes still scanning. As she flew she defended wondering off the Bali was hiding somewhere near the gripping.

4 hour rule
Willow continued to fly. looking out at the game. it seemed like despite all of their best efforts there was not really much progress in the game or the score. though she must admit the team red chasers were making some progress. she scanned the grass looking to see if the gold ball was hidden in there was one bit of gold down there but as she grew closer she saw that it was only a dandelion. she reached out and picked it anyway. at least that would practice her aim at catching something.

Sully couldn't believe Chloë had managed another goal so easily, not sure if he was impressed or jealous. "Nice, Chloë," He called out again, grabbing the quaffle, determined it was his turn to score next. He had to let out a hiss of sympathy as Chloë was hit by a bludger right after her shot, glancing over to see Fleur's little sister had managed to pull off the hit.

letting the flower go behind her willow thought that she may have better luck looking next to one of the goals. she flew towards the base and wound her way up them but there was still no luck

Chloë’s little victory was short-lived as soon after there was this wheezing sound, followed by something slamming into her shoulder. She instinctively clutched her shoulder and clenched her jaw to fight back tears. There was absolutely no way she was going to cry right now. She was small and obviously knew bludgers were going to hurt, but the pain was more intense than she had thought it would be. Nevertheless, the risk of getting hit was part of the game and she figured it was better to get her first hit during training than to be thrown off her game in a match. “It’s cool!” She shouted back at Emma, trying to shoot her a smile through her gritted teeth, although she was obviously hurting. Chloë took a few seconds to compose herself, before she started chasing after Sully who now had the quaffle.
