Halloween Costume Contest: winners!
With the Halloween feast over and done with here are our costume contest winners:
Best overall: Caleb Thorne as Edward Scissorhands
Best magically enhanced: Giulia Alcott as a Green Screen
Most scary: Maisie Morvay as an Evil Clown
Most Ridiculous: Hugo Stark-West as a Confused Christmas Elf
Most traditional: Lucy Montague as a Princess
Congrats to you all!
Quidditch
Lots of things happening when it comes to Quidditch! Gryffindor and Ravenclaw battled it out during the first game of the year, with Ravenclaw eventually snatching the snitch (and the win). Hufflepuff and Slytherin were due to play against each other for the second game but due to a forfeit the win has been given to Slytherin. The next game on the calendar will be Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff on the 7th of July!
Club Events and House Meetings
There are currently a couple of big threads going on that you might want to throw your characters into! The Heta Omega girls are getting their first look at the sister pairings and are working on positivity whilst the Brotherhood boys are taking things a completely different route with a game of dodgeball. Professor Kingsley and Professor Josephs are both encouraging creativity in their students during a house meeting. Gryffindors are encouraged to share some motivational messages with each other and Ravenclaws get to bundle their strengths in creating one big piece of art!
Week 5
Can you believe we're already heading into week 5 tomorror? Neither can I! With exams and the end of the semester rapidly closing in it's the most important time to make sure both professors and students keep up with lessons. Believe me, leaving it all to the end is no fun for either party
Brightstone!
Brightstone weekend is open to all students for the upcoming two IRL weeks. It's the perfect place to roleplay your student characters in a different setting and even have them interact with others who don't attend Hogwarts. And if you happen to feel creative you should definitely take a peek at the Honeydukes Halloween Contest..

General reminder
Once in a while we, as site staff, like to offer everyone a little reminder of how important it is to be patient with each other. This applies to any and all aspects of the site. It's alright to be eager for a graphic request to be filled or to excitedly wait on a response to a thread as long as you're patient.

If you've been paying attention to the forum over the last week you might've noticed some new topics popping up. Topics like Maria's concert talks and Anna's 7 deadly sins one are a great way to discuss on topic or off topic things with others around the site and see everyone's responses! We'd like to let these topics serve as a little reminder that it's encouraged to start a topic if you're keen on discussing a specific something with the rest of the site
