Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice

Theodore stifled a chuckle once he'd seen one of the beaters hit a bludger toward the one that had hit him. While he had nothing against Maia, there was some small pleasure to seeing her get the same treatment she'd given them. Deciding he was feeling much better, he broke off somewhat from behind the other beater he was tailing, needing to scout the sky in a wider area if he was going to have any chance of finding the snitch.

The blonde flew along with Brendan as he was going for the hoops. And he scored! It still felt difficult since the keepers had to have success too. But Cheryl wasn't gonna be less competetive. She wanted to score, that was what she needed to do. The blonde looked around her if there were any other chasers, but didn't noticed them so quickly. So she went for it and catched the quaffle as it went back into the game. Cheryl flew with some speed to the other side of the field. She wanted to gve the keepers a fair chance. But wanted to score since Brendan did a very good job too.

Fletcher lent forwards on her broom once again, determined to find and hit another bludger before the practise game was over. She needed all the help she could get as one of the youngest, and newest, members of the team.

Cheryl was fast approaching to Cassi's end. Readying herself,Cassi readies herself. The end of practice was almost near and she needed to do another save. Cassi felt she was at a good position to block any attempt from the chaser.

As the Chasers were doing their best to score more goals, Fletcher knew she needed to keep protecting them from any more bludgers, and kept a look out for any others.

Maia's shoulder was starting to hurt more every time she moved it around but was determined enough to continue flying around the pitch in search for bludgers.

Glad that she'd yet to feel the full force of a bludger herself, Fletcher kept her eyes peeled for any sign of one trying to attack her teammates.

Theodore zipped along, pausing for a moment to look at the Beauxbatons chateau from a height, before resuming his pursuit of the snitch. It was so cool to be able to see the entire grounds from up here, but he didn't have time to sit around for too long.

Brendan kept an eye out from above. The beaters were doing well, even if it was to the detriment of their own players, but if they'd been in a real match, he was confident they'd have taken one of their opponents out by now. No that they'd need to at the rate the seekers had been going, but it was good to cover all of their bases. Everyone needed to be at the top of their game - and the keepers specifically needed to be doing a lot better.

While the other beaters seemed to be doing very well, Jess was beginning to get frustrated over her lack of progress in being unable to hit any bludgers. However at the moment she had other matters to worry about more than her own performance. As captain, she was beginning to worry that some of their chasers didn't seem to be doing too well in practice since they hadn't attempted to score themselves, so she decided to fly over to them and see if everything was okay.

Cheryl was on her way to try and score again. The blonde felt she did pretty good for her first practice. So when she got closer to the hoops she looked out for an chance to score. Cheryl decided to try, but she missed. Cheryl wanted to score, but it was positive for the keepers. She flew back into the game and let the other chasers try again.

Brendan hesitantly applauded as the goal was blocked, feeling it was odd to do but he was pleased to see the keeper stepping it up a bit. He took possession of the quaffle as it was thrown back into play, and looked out for someone to pass it to.

Theodore's eyes caught sight of the snitch once more as it flitted through the air, but just as quickly as he had spotted it, it vanished, zooming off to the left. He looked wildly around, chewing his lip in frustration, before heading off in the general direction it had gone to.

Watching the quaffle fail to soar through the hoops down the other end of the pitch was bittersweet for Celine - she was glad Cassi had finally managed to block one, but now there was lot more pressure on her as the chasers turned and began to fly back down the pitch towards her end. Celine breathed in, then breathed out, centering herself firmly in front of the hoops.

Dodging a bludger that she hadn't been able to hit in time, Maia kept looking around to see if any more were making its way towards her.

It was slightly reassuring when Fletcher spotted their keepers were finally able to score, but the third year couldn't help wonder why it was always the same people who were making attempts. She'd been nervous to start playing but at least she was getting involved.

Theodore braked suddenly as a stray bludger flew past him. It made his heart race, reminded of the dull ache in his chest and wanting to avoid that in future. He needed to keep a better eye out for everything else, not just the snitch, though it was so easy to forget the other balls even existed when he was trying to hard to find it.

Elvira didn't pay much attention to the rest of the game, as she only focused on finding the snitch. She ducked under Fletcher while looking around. She didn't see a glimmer anywhere, and continued to look carefully.

Jamie followed the game, flying back and forth with the rest of the team, he hadn't touched the ball much, but he was happily following along. Flying close to the chaser which had the ball currently, paying close attention in case the boy passed to him, or dropped it.

Catching sight of one of the other chasers, Brendan raised the quaffle above his head, glad he wasn't just seeing Cheryl for a change. "Derouin, catch." He said, tossing the leather-bound ball over to the younger boy. Everyone needed to participate, and he would have liked to see him at least try to score once this match.

Cheryl got closer and Cassi tensed herself for the attempt.Cheryl was a good player and this was admired by Cassi. As the quaffle soared toward her left,Cassi quickly stretched her hand whacked it,sending the quaffle toward Brendan. She did it.She saved one more goal. She pumped her fust into the air as she watched the action moved back to Celine's side.

Certainly jamie was surprised when the quaffle was actually thrown at him. He caught it, and tucked it under his arm pushing himself to move faster towards the goals. He was sure that he wouldn't get it in, but Jamie was thankful for the chance to try.

Fletcher watched as Jamie caught the Quaffle from Brendan, and she followed the Chaser to make sure he wouldn't be hit on the way to the hoops.

While her eyes had been on Brendan, as soon as he passed the Quaffle away Celine focused all her attention on the new guy in possession. He hadn't attempted a shot yet this practice, so Celine hoped she would have a better chance to save this one. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but it also felt like a cop-out to think that to herself. She should be performing better than she was currently doing.

Maia aimed a bludgers towards Jamie but saw that it missed the chasers by inches. Hopefully she would have more luck next time.
