Y41 Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Semester Two

Flying closer to the hoops, René gave Linden a sheepish look as he knocked the bludger he'd just hit over away. He'd not managed much luck protecting Felix so he decided to be a bit more aggressive instead, please to see he'd managed to hit the alt seeker cleanly with this one. @Felix Carnahan

Although even with the break she was pretty tired, Renata saw an opportunity and grabbed the quaffle off of Jordie, giving him a wink as she did. "Sorry, just have to practice stealing, right?"
 
It turned out that stealing the quaffle was entirely a waste as it didn't go through the hoop. The streak had to end at some point, she supposed.
 
Felix wasn't really enjoying practice anymore and a bludger to the leg didn't help at all.
 
Leonardo went for the ball after Renata failed to score.
 
René swung his arms back and forth, trying to work out a growing knot in his shoulders as he looked for another bludger.
 
Lucas saw no sign of the snitch as he flew around.
 
Felix continued to fly around the pitch.

Tilly cheered every time Lucas caught the snitch. She spent most of the time after the break trying to protect her teammates. She noticed Felix had been walloped twice and wasn't looking so hot. Pulling up close to @Rene Tofilau, she hollered, "Give Felix a break now, yeah?" She was proud of Rene but didn't want him to send anyone to the Hospital Wing today.

Felix kept looking.
 
Tilly continued to protect her teammates from incoming bludgers.
 
The search continued for Felix. He kept flying around but he was starting to think it was useless.
 
René eased up as Tilly flew over him, nodding in understanding as she asked him to leave Felix alone for a bit. He knew Felix had to be hurting but he was still pretty pleased he'd managed to keep pace with a seeker when they tended to move so much faster on the pitch.
 
Felix still didn't see the snitch.
 
Leonardo got close to the hoops and threw the ball, very disappointed to miss.
 
Renata grabbed the quaffle, thinking she might take at least one more shot before practice ended.
 
Renata watched the quaffle sail through the hoop and smiled as she did, wiping her brow.
 
Tilly meant to hit Rene with her next bludger, but it went off course and smashed into @Renata Stepanova instead.

Leonardo took the ball and began heading towards the other hoop.
 
René was definitely tired after today's practice, feeling the ache just about everywhere. He startled when he saw a bludger from Tilly heading his way, hurriedly dropping down a meter to avoid it and grimacing as it shot into Renata instead. Maybe he should have tried to hit that.
 
After checking to make sure Renata was ok, Tilly flew off to find her next bludger.
 
Felix kept going even though he really didn't want to anymore.
 
When Leonardo got close to the hoop he threw the quaffle and was pleased to watch it go in.
 
Renata knew she was going to ache badly in the morning as the next bludger hit her, but she took a deep breath and gave a thumbs-up to Tilly. She didn't envy the Slytherin players, being targeted by their beaters in the next game. She grabbed the quaffle once more, running on adrenaline at this point.
