Y41 Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Semester Two

Renata followed the other chasers at a bit of a distance, slowing down slightly.
 
When Leo approached the hoops he threw the ball and was disappointed when he missed.
 
René was impressed to see Leo taking the chance to steal from Jordie; when he'd played as chaser, stealing the quaffle had always seemed so daunting. Though now he hit bludgers at people which was equally as scary so maybe he'd grown as a player after all.
 
Felix was getting tired from flying around the pitch for so long. He just wished he had more to show for it.
 
Renata hovered to fix her hair, readjusting her ponytail. It was getting quite messed up from all the flying.
 
Jordie laughed as Leo stole the ball, cheering, and swooped in to grab it again as it came back into play.
 
Tilly looked to Lucas, wondering if they should call a break.
 
René gave one of the passing bludgers a solid swing but the angle was wrong and he watched the bludger spiral harmlessly across the pitch and past the chasers.
 
Jordie made it to the hoops, grinning as he scored again against Linden. He threw a playful wink at the keeper before flying away again.
 
René had been eying one of the bludgers when the other caught him off-guard. He managed to knock the bludger clear with a backhand swing but could only watch as it shot straight into @Leonardo Orr by mistake.

Renata got her fingers caught as she tried to fix her hair and hoped nobody saw her wobble on her broom while trying to free herself from tangles.
 
Leonardo flew in behind Renata as she took the quaffle.
 
Tilly tried to knock a bludger away from her teammates, who were all looking beat up. Having a mind of its own, the bludger crashed into @Rene Tofilau. Tilly knew someone was going to end up in the hospital wing if she didn't let the team take a breather. "All right, break! 10 minutes!" Tilly shouted, descending to the pitch herself to take advantage of water and snacks. When everyone was looking a little better, she took back to the skies.

Quick break. Bludgers are reset.
 
After the break, Lucas took to the air again to look for the snitch.
 
René let out a wheeze as Tilly knocked a bludger into him, glad she immediately called a break so he could catch his breath on the ground. After some water and a very hastily eaten orange slice he was feeling much better as he took back to the sky.
 
Rule 2

Leonardo grabbed the quaffle after the break and continued to the hoops.
 
Felix was grateful to take a water break and stretch his legs a bit before getting back to looking for the snitch.
 
Glad to have his energy back, René decided to waste no time, sending a bludger straight towards @Tilly Drage as a little payback for her last hit.

The break had done wonders for René and he wasted no time following up his first hit with another straight into @Felix Carnahan.

Felix cried out when he got hit yet again with a bludger. That was really starting to hurt and he wasn't finding the snitch anywhere.

René did always feel a little bad hitting his teammates when he knew it hurt, but he was on a hotstreak now and didn't let it slow him down. Rounding on the other bludger, he set it towards the other seeker instead, hoping that @Lucas Fletcher had gotten enough rest over the timeout.

It seemed like the break had been great for René, as he suddenly started hitting player after player. Lucas grunted as he was hit, giving the beater a weak smile before flying far away from him.
 
Renè grinned as Lucas smiled at him, taking another swipe at one of the bludgers only to completely miss this time, having to grip his broom to avoid over balancing. Hopefully no one saw that one.
 
Lucas flew off to the other side of the pitch and grinned at the sight of the snitch hovering there. He caught it and held it up.
 
Leonardo approached the hoops and then threw the ball when he got close very happy to watch it go in.
