Y41 Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Semester Two

Felix kept looking for the snitch.
 
Zagreus was quick to react as the quaffle was chucked at him again, this time managing to grab it safely before it made it to the hoop. Feeling just a little better, he tossed it back out again. But now the chasers had the ball again he made sure to keep his eye on it so he could make another save if they decided to try and score against him again.
 
René hated when he hit people by accident, deciding to take his time and line up his shot as he took his next swing. Unfortunately, the caution seemed to work against him, as Tilly had moved by the time he finally swung and the bludger shot right into @Leonardo Orr instead.

The bludger Tilly had hit at him hurt, but Lucas tried to stay focused on getting the snitch.
 
Maybe Tilly had had the right idea going on the defensive... René hung back, contemplating which seeker to try and defend before ultimately chickening out and tailing after Felix, since Lucas looked so focused even after taking a bludger.
 
As Leonardo went to throw the quaffle into the hoop and just as he threw it he was hit with a bludger. It caused the quaffle to fall short of the hoops.
 
René felt pretty bad when he saw Leo missed his shot, hesitating and missing his next swing as a bludger shot past.
 
I lost track of which direction the quaffle is going in. I think it is to me.

linden hovered in front of the goal doing the best that he could. But the blow from a bludger was leaving him winded. He watched as Leo approached him and it seemed like he wasn’t the only one affected by the bludgerAs Leo’s shot fell short. He retrieved it and threw it back into the game good try Leo. Are you okay agree that hit he called.
 
Felix couldn't help notice that nearly the whole team had been hit by a bludger by now. He flew a little faster hoping to stay ahead of any stray bludgers.
 
It was hard to keep up with Felix and René eventually had to let the gap grow as he tried to hunt down one of the bludgers.
 
Renata flew in to grab the quaffle when it was thrown back out. It was probably not the best idea to constantly change ends but it was good to give both keepers practice.
 
Felix squinted as he glanced up toward the sky to see if the snitch had decided to get a better view all the way up there.
 
Trying to give the chasers a leg up after they'd been hit a few times, (and because he couldn't quite line up a shot on the seekers), René sent a bludger towards the hoops, a little surprised when he managed to hit @Zagreus Kohler with it.

Maybe it was because Zagreus had been hit with a bludger, but Renata was able to get the quaffle past him and through the hoops. She felt a little bad about it, though was at least a tiny bit pleased she was managing to make shots.
 
René felt pretty proud when he saw Renata managed to score after Zagreus took the bludger. She probably could have made it without his help, but it still felt nice. He was distracted by the thought as he took his next swing, fumbling his bat and grimacing as the bludger swung back around, knocking the wind from him as it collided with his back.

Leonardo grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out into play after Renata managed to score, heading back towards Linden.
 
Lucas flew a bit closer to the ground, looking around.
 
Felix continued his search.
 
His eyes widened as he saw the bludger, wincing as he tried to turn away from it, but failed as it smacked into him, right as the chaser managed to throw the quaffle past him. He probably would have saved that if he hadn't been hit.
 
Leonardo got close to the hoops and threw the ball, very disappointed when he missed again. he didn't understand why he never got better at this.
 
Tilly grinned broadly when Renata made a shot. The chasers were working hard, although Linden was doing his best to block him. She winced in sympathy when Rene got smacked by his own bludger. It happened to the best of beaters. She cracked her bat as the second bludger veered close to her, sending it into @Felix Carnahan.

René spotted Tilly's bludger heading for Felix, moving to try and intercept it. He was too slow on his broom to stop it hitting Felix, giving the seeker a sympathetic smile, but he was able to send the bludger back with a solid swing, watching it arch right back towards @Tilly Drage.

Lucas didn't see the snitch anywhere, he sighed.
 
René shook out his bat arm, always forgetting how much playing could make his arms and shoulders hurt.
 
Renata grabbed the quaffle again, thinking this was a lot of exercise but probably worth it. But maybe she should consider throwing it at Jordie to keep his head in the game, she wondered.
