Y41 Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Semester Two

Leonardo flew up into the air, and was following behind Jordie who now had the ball.
 
It frustrated Lucas a bit that Felix got the snitch first, but he gave him an encouraging smile and a thumbs up.
 
Not noticing Leo nearby, Jordie flew up to Linden. He scored easily, sticking his tongue out at the older boy playfully.
 
René was impressed to see that even after taking a bludger, Felix had managed to get the snitch already. He had no idea how seekers were able to spot and react to things that quickly, considering René had already lost track of both bludgers himself.
 
Zag sat back quietly on his broom, though clapped a little as Felix managed to find the snitch. But he quickly realized that was a bit dumb so stopped clapping.
 
René drifted for a bit, watching the other players and checking what Tilly was doing before shouldering his bat and trying to catch up to the bludgers again.
 
Felix was feeling pretty good about catching the snitch already and got ready to start his search again. But he kept rubbing the sore part of his arm from where the bludger hit.
 
René tried to head off the bludger he was chasing but he flubbed his swing, having to duck down and drop a metre to avoid taking a bludger to the face.
 
Linden kept watching the training as jordie got the quaffle easily to the other hoops. and managed to score. "good try Zagger better luck next time" he called.It seemed like the beaters and seekers were also keeping busy but Jordie was flying towards him. The chaser was good and despite trying he failed to save the goal. you have been trained well young Jordie he said as the boy stuck his tongue o it at him. He then threw the ball back into play.
 
Tilly gritted her teeth when Rene's bludger crashed into her leg. With her knee aching, she advanced on the next bludger and sent it towards @Lucas Fletcher.

Renata went in and grabbed the quaffle again, having taken a few moments to stretch out her arm and get the blood flowing well once more.
 
Felix kept looking for the snitch.
 
Renata zipped back towards the other goals, taking a shot with adrenaline coursing through her veins and managing to get it through the hoops this time.
 
Tilly was trying to give her team a break between bludgers, but her bat had other ideas. She sent the next one into @Jordan Harris.

Jordie yelped when Tilly smacked a bludger into his side, looking at her with wide eyes. "Tilly! The betrayal!" He teased her. @Tilly Drage
 
Felix sighed and wiped some sweat from his face with the back of his hand. It was hot up here and it was making it hard to stay focused on the snitch.
 
Renata took the quaffle back up when nobody else did, noticing Jordie tease Tilly over a hit. He'd make a great footballer, she thought with a smirk as she sped back down the other end, looking to either pass or take a shot on the elder keeper. Going between the two was good exercise.
 
Leonardo followed in behind the other chaser. He knew he should be doing better and getting more shots in but he wasn't fast enough. He'd get his opportunity though.
 
Renata saw an opportunity and instead of continuing to the goal, tossed the quaffle towards her classmate. "Leonardo, to you!" She called. She didn't know the other boy that well but knew his name from classes and the team, at least.

Leonardo was startled as the quaffle was sudden thrown to him and he just continued the short distance to the hoops to try and score. When it was caught by the keeper, Leo did not feel very good, he had been tossed the ball and managed to mess it up. He would have to do better.
 
Tilly moved to defence, hoping to show her teammates she could protect them as well as clobber them.
 
René watched Tilly as she managed a string of hits, quietly in awe of the way she moved. He saw her switch to defense, wondering if he should try to copy her or take his chance to act more offensively now that she'd backed off from her onslaught.
 
Leonardo didn't spot any of the other chasers going for the ball, and then decided to fly forward and grab it.
 
Deciding it might look more impressive if René tried to be more offensive while Tilly defended, René took a hard swing at a passing quaffle. He'd been aiming for Tilly but must have put too much spin on it, grimacing as the quaffle shot into @Linden Cullen instead.

Tilly watched as Leonardo took possession of the quaffle. She flew in alongside the chasers, protecting them for now.
