Y39 Slytherin Practice S1

It seemed like the bludgers were only interested in flying at her. Celia ducked under another one before turning and pursuing it. She tried to hit it towards Ruben, but the bludger changed course halfway through.

Indi approached the hoops and threw it towards the right one and she frowned as it missed. She wasn't sure what was wrong with her but she was growing more and more agitated with each missed shot.

Celia swung again, aiming for Ruben. And once again, the bludger switched directions halfway through, but this time it crashed into @Liusaidh Fergusson. Though she hadn't been aiming for the chaser, Celia decided to count it as a win. She really needed one.

((just learned I did one of my past bludger hits incorrectly x.x))

Lucie kept a close eye on the chasers and their every move. She needed to expect the unexpected and not get too distracted by what else was happening on the field.

Buoyed by her brief success, Celia quickly chased after the second bludger and tried to hit it towards Ivelisse. But her shot missed, causing Celia to sigh. The bludgers really wanted to make her life miserable, it seemed.

Eleanor hadn’t had the Quaffle in her possession since she arrived at practice, but when Indi missed her last shot, she decided it was time to change that. The girl snatched the falling Quaffle and turned to race back towards the hoops. She tried to throw it towards the far left hoop, but the keeper knocked it away. Eleanor frowned and was determined to try again.

As a chaser came close to her with the quaffle, Lucie reached out to catch it and did so easily. She threw it back out, much more confident in her abilities now.

Indi watched with some satisfaction as Eleanor also missed the mark when it came to scoring, at least she wasn't the only one. She saw her opportunity and grabbed the quaffle as it was tossed back in and she started to make a lap around the pitch.

Ivelisse kept on looking.

Indi kept up her pace as she approached the hoops and tried to fake going left before throwing the quaffle towards the right hoop. But she must not have been that convincing because the shot was blocked in the end. She swore under her breath but kept going not wanting to let it get her down.

Liusaidh was feeling rather superior in her skills as both Indira and Eleanor missed. Although being hit with a bludger was less than fun. She grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out and began to head towards the hoops again.

Daintree gave a thumbs up to the young beater who was doing pretty well, he wasn't doing well so it was perhaps a good trade off.

Lucie watched as Liusaidh began making her way towards her, ready to block her shot.

Ivelisse flew a bit higher again, hoping to get a good view of the pitch.

Celia smiled when Daintree gave her a thumbs up, glad that her efforts weren't going unnoticed. But that smile quickly disappeared when she hit another bludger and missed her target.

Ruben started looking near the stands, maybe the snitch would show up there.

Ivelisse kept doing the searchy search.

Back when she'd been practicing by herself, Celia had found that she really enjoyed hitting bludgers. It was almost therapeutic. But now, she couldn't gain any satisfaction from whacking them around. What was the point if most of her hits missed her targets?

Ivelisse glanced towards where Ruben was flying again to see if he was chasing anything.

Ruben kept searching for the snitch, it had to be somewhere.

Daintree having no luck, kept watch on the game vague as he flew around.

Liusaidh got close to the hoops and threw the ball, very disappointed when she missed. She was definitely better than that.

Natalia grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play, she tucked it under her arm and flew off.

Celia chased after another bludger, but it veered away just as she was about to hit it. Annoyed, she changed directions. She needed to get better at sharp turns while flying.

Ruben kept searching the snitch, nor him or Ivelisse were having much luck at this point so he could only hope their luck was different for the games ahead.
