Y38 Beauxbatons Practice S1

Gemma noticed another bludger coming her way and met it half way, aiming for the chasers. She was satisficed as it met its mark and hit Gabrielle. She felt so relieved that she was finally making up for how slow she had been at the beginning of practice. @Gabrielle Perrault
 
Aramis was still nursing his own bludger hit when Gemma knocked another one into Gaby this time. "Gemma are you okay? Any murderous impulses you need to share with the rest of the team," he asked wanly, ducking his head to check Gaby hadn't been knocked off her broom after the hit.
 
Amelie watched as Gemma continued to hit everyone on the team, giggling softly at Aramis' words.
 
Gemma rolled her eyes at Aramis. "Of course not." she teased in a sickly sweet voice. She took a break between hits to watch for bludgers and stretch her arms.
 
Aramis raised his eyebrows dubiously at Gemma, but he wasn't about to argue with a girl with a bat.
 
Amelie continued her search for the snitch.
 
The chasers were having better luck now and Ares was happy for this. He dived over to collect the quaffle as it was thrown back out after the captain scored.
 
The bludger was going so fast Gemma nearly missed it until it was way to close for comfort. But she was able to dodge it at the last minute and send the bludger flying towards the youngest chaser. She knew practice was ending soon which was probably a good thing since she was really on a roll now. @Ares Kuya-Tine
 
Amelie was glad she was no longer on the beaters list, continuing her search.
 
Seeing Gemma knock the bludger into Ares right after he'd grabbed the quaffle was exactly why Aramis hadn't wanted to tease Gemma any more than he had. He didn't have a death wish. Though he did wonder if the bludger would help his chances of blocking Ares' shot.

Amelie continued her search for the snitch.
 
Gemma flexed her arm as she watched for bludgers. It was starting to get a bit sore but in a satisfying kind of way.
 
It was tricky to keep an eye on Ares and the quaffle with all the snitch catching and bludger hits, so Aramis resigned himself to circling the hoops slowly, waiting for Ares to get closer before reacting.
 
Amelie smiled brightly as she caught sight of the snitch, shooting off after it. She came up on it rather quickly, rolling a bit as she caught it. She let out a happy giggle as she straightened, the snitch in hand. She held it up for the captain. @Édelie de la Mora
 
Gemma kept watch for bludgers but didn't see any around her at the moment.
 
Amelie hummed softly, continuing her search for the snitch.
 
Aramis shook his head in disbelief when he saw Amelie had the snitch again. "Okay seriously, you charmed it or something right?" he said with a grin, clicking his tongue in amazement.
 
Amelie giggled softly, blowing the keeper a kiss. "Sorry, cherie, that's a secret," she teased.
 
Amelie continued her search for the snitch
 
Aramis shook his head again at Amelie's response. Hugo had a lot of catching up to do with Amelie waiting in the wings as their alt.
 
Hugo saw Amelie had caught the snitch again and he almost couldn't believe it. He felt tears stinging in his eyes, though he ignored them. What was wrong with him? Why couldn't he catch it even half as much as she did?
 
Amelie glanced over, hesitating as she noticed how upset Hugo looked. She bit her lip, debating.
 
Gemma sighed as the bludgers appeared to be elsewhere and she wasn't in the mood to chase after them at this point.
