Here is the area for invited guests, staff, professors and prefects to post while at the graduation. Please be reminded that you are also invited to start separate RPs that take place after the graduation

Professor Harrington had been present for a few graduations now and each year they became more and more bittersweet. She'd been teaching these students since they were rather young and had grown to care for them. She was happy to see each of them finish with fairly good marks and head off into the world as capable adults. She would miss them at the same time as she bonded with a few students who loved Astronomy as she does. She hoped their futures would be bright as the stars they've been studying. She knew the time was coming when her own oldest daughter would be here at the ceremony as a graduate which made Sarah feel more emotions than she wanted so she pushed those thoughts back. She was rather proud of Kauri for starting off in the native tongue. She tried to do the same in all her classes, having taught at a muggle primary school before coming here. She hoped the students the best and hoped she'd hear from at least a few on how they are doing in a year or so.

Liam felt more confident than ever now Slytherin had won the quidditch cup and they also had beaten Beauxbatons. He was really happy and he was in the mood for every event that was being hosted still this year. And also some family members were graduating. He walked into the great hall and saw already a lot of people he tried to spot Therese and Gabriel. Gabriella was graduating too, but he didn't had much with her. She was jealous of his prefect position for sure. And he hoped his aunt and uncle would be there, so he could rub it in their face that he become one. He was sure his uncle would be mad. He always thought low of their family. But the winner takes it all. He took a seat with some other prefects and spotted his uncle. Liam looked for a moment and wanted to take his badge into the air, but after all his uncle scared him already as a little boy and now he still scared him. So in his mind he did it, not actually. Liam clapped for the people who graduated and thought about that he would sit there next year already. All the girls were dressed up nicely as well so it was a nice view from there. He felt happy.

Bryon would be at the graduation of his oldest daughter Gabriella today. It was good to be at Hogwarts to see where his children got their education. Gabriella was already been secured of her future and he was now satisfied, she should be thankfull to him though because her grades were not that as he expected them to be. They were not perfect enough. But he had put work in her future and she would work at the Norwegian Ministry of Magic. He could stil see what she would be doing even if she would leave the house soon. He wanted to check if she didn't made a fool out of herself and the family name. Bryon walked along with his wife to the Great Hall and looked at the people coming for their children. Now only Lauren would be on Hogwarts yet, not that she would be succesfull but he had to put effort in it to make her not as much of a failure as she already was. And after that he had still two daughters who should be better than his second daughter. Bryon took a seat and figured that Agnes her brothers and sisters would be there too. Since Gabriella was even old as her cousins. Not that he was paying attention to that. They had broken the family relationship long ago. Bryon spotted Liam in the crowd for a moment and raised his eyebrow. He than looked at the graduation and saw Gabriel. He shook his head, after that childish scream. When Gabriella came he clapped shortly. That was what a father did right? His face remained straight and strict and the moment was soon over. He was still dissapointed in Gabriella, and now seeing Liam it made him even mad. Why he prefect and not Gabriella, he didn't understood it. It was a shame.

For the second year in a row, Claudia was here for her daughter's graduation. She smiled at Professor Alicastell as she spoke to the graduates and their guests. She was always excellent in her role from what Claudia had seen, and she admired the other woman. The head boy and girl spoke next, and Claudia was impressed by the Head Boy's speech. He started with a karakia, which was a nice gesture. Claudia listened to his speech, feeling a little sad as she watched him. He really did seem like a nice boy, it was too bad he and Rose hadn't worked things out together. Claudia had privately been glad that Rose had found such a sensible boy to date, but it seemed to be completely over now. Claudia felt for Kauri as he got emotional near the end of his speech, leaving Hogwarts really was a big step, and she could understand how such a thing could be emotional. The head girl's speech was shorter and a little less emotional, but it was nice as well. Claudia clapped for them both, and then settled to watch the different students accept their diploma on the stage. As Phoebe got up, Claudia worried for a moment her daughter would try something, a last grand gesture to end her time at Hogwarts. But all she did was wave at her, which made Claudia laugh softly. Her heart was bursting with pride as she watched her second daughter accept her diploma and then get back to her seat. She couldn't wait to give her a big hug.

It was incredibly strange to be back at Hogwarts after two years, but awfully familiar too. Amber almost felt like a student again as she sat in the great hall, and she definitely did miss her time at Hogwarts a bit. But at the same time, her life had been good ever since she had graduated. Two years ago, she wouldn't have thought she would have taken over gladrags and moved in with Ainsley, but things were pretty good. Now Sophie was graduating, and Amber felt incredibly proud of her. Her sister was head girl, just like she had been. Amber watched her and tried to give her a reassuring smile, though she wasn't sure she could see her very well from the stage. She knew her sister, and knew public speaking wasn't really her thing. Kauri being head boy wasn't a surprise to Amber at all, and she listened as he gave his speech. It was touching, and Amber vowed to find him later to give him a compliment on it. Then it was Sophie's turn, and Amber listened as her sister spoke to the school. She chuckled softly, it was definitely very Sophie. Then it was time for the graduates to get their diploma, and Amber clapped loudly for all of them. When it was Sophie's turn, Amber teared up a little. She was very proud of her sister.

It had been a nice surprise to get the invitation for Therese’s graduation and he had inspite all of the logic in his body said yes to it. Rory had had to get the day off, from both places he worked, but it was nice. He barely had any reason to not work constantly. What was the point in taking time off, if all he’d do was spend it alone. The time following his own graduation had been hard, he was far more settled now, but it was tricky to remember when for a period he hadn’t had anything. The man now had a sure roof over his head, he had food in the cupboards and some furniture that belonged to him. He could finally afford the apartment he was in, though it was still over priced for what Rory was getting. He had dressed nice for the occasion, clean shaven, well fitted suit, it had cost a bit of money and wasn’t the quality of his families, but it was enough for him. He felt a little nervous and oddly shy stepping back into school, but he had focused on getting to the graduation proceedings. He couldn’t exactly go seek out his brother, not that he wanted to. The letters were few and far between now, and though Rory had eventually caved and started reading them, he was glad they were stopped. Hopefully Aonghas would move on from him and just enjoy his schooling, hopefully not make the same mistakes that Rory had made.
The former slytherin took a seat in the hall, glancing up towards the teachers and the graduating class as things got started. He managed to quickly catch Therese’s gaze and gave a little wave. Rory, much like at his own graduation had zoned out of the speeches and only really let his mind wander back when the names were called. He recognised a few of them, but he held his applause until Therese, after all, he was here for her not for the rest of them. Certainly as he watched her then, he felt a pang of jealousy towards her partner, towards his parents, he could’ve really loved her if he’d just had the chance to. He was happy to be her friend, happy to be in her life, but god, did he long for just the opportunity to have really tried with her. He couldn’t now, he didn’t want to disrespect her by involving himself in her affairs. Rory was glad when the whole ceremony was brought to an end. Rory waited in the crowd, hoping to see Therese and congratulate her.

Between taking care of Miro and working, it had been an ordeal to organize attending Marcos and Geo’s graduation. Though despite the stress of everything, Flavio was happy to return to Hogwarts and celebrate his younger brother and one of his best friends beginning a new stage of their lives. Flavio was thankful to run into Amber and sit with her during the ceremony, and felt as if everything was full circle as the head person speeches began. It had only been two years since Flavio and Amber had given their own speeches as head people but it felt like a lifetime ago as Kauri began speaking. He hadn’t spoken to or seen Kauri in person for a long time, only communicating to the boy in a few sporadic letters during this past year where Kauri seemed unsure of his role. Listening to the speech in the moment, Flavio never noticed any sense of insecurity and only saw Kauri as someone confident and deserving of being head boy and he was exceptionally proud. It was unexpected for him to feel so emotional for a friend he wasn’t near as close to as he was to Geo and Marcos, though he couldn’t dwell on the thought for too long as Sophie soon began her own speech.
Flavio clapped as the speeches were over, and waited for both Geo and Marcos to cross the stage. He smiled as Marcos was the first to be called up, and teared up slightly as he cheered for his brother. Later on Geo’s name was called and Flavio felt himself tear up all over again, clapping for his friend as she received her diploma. Soon enough the graduation ceremony was over, and Flavio quickly tried to compose himself as he stood up from his seat to look for Marcos and Geo, wanting to congratulate them separately.

Kyle had been here only a year ago to watch October graduate, and it felt no less surreal returning to Hogwarts the second time. The Great Hall felt as though he had only walked through it for his own graduation yesterday, but so many years had passed, and everything here was different now. He listened to the Headmistress speak, followed by the Head People. Kyle was a bit nervous about the Head Boy after the speech they had all been put through last year, but he recognised this boy as one of the friends April had brought to his and Matt's wedding, and found the boy's speech incredibly touching. The Head Girl's speech was much shorter, but Kyle appreciated it too. He clapped for both of their speeches when they were done, and then finally it was time for the graduates to walk the stage, Kyle found himself holding his breath when April's name was called, before bursting into a chuckle as April cartwheeled her way to her diploma. As he applauded loudly, Kyle appreciated how completely April was always herself, and felt fit to burst with pride for his younger daughter finishing school and moving into the adult world.

Maria enjoyed attending graduation, but the last couple had been... strange. Odette had been close enough to graduation when Maria adopted her that there had barely been any time to prepare emotionally. Maria had never really known Odette as a child. Now, though. Now was different. Today, Maria would be watching her daughter's girlfriend graduate, knowing that next year would be Charlie's turn. Charlie, who Maria had first met as a scrappy kid, furious at the world around her. It was... strange and painful to think about. Her children were growing up before her eyes, and Maria wished she could just... freeze time, just enjoy these years before they were all off on their own adventures, starting their lives as adults. It had been almost a relief that Odette had stayed living at home, Maria didn't have to let go of her just yet. Caught up in her thoughts, Maria felt guilty for barely listening to the Headmistress's speech. She tuned back in for the Head Boy, reminded of the disasters of last year's graduation, but thankfully this time the speeches went smoothly. Maria applauded politely for all of the graduates, especially the ones who had spent time in her office, and gave Phoebe a particularly big hand. She worried a little bit how Charlie was going to cope without Phoebe around next year.

After getting her diploma, October had intended to leave Hogwarts behind for good, and never look back. She had left the magical world almost entirely, as it happened, and her first year as a student at the New Zealand School of Dance had confirmed to October what a good idea that had been. She finally felt in her element, in a way she never really had at Hogwarts. Years striving to be something she wasn't, for grades she didn't actually care about, all of it felt so meaningless compared to the work she was doing now. Hogwarts was her past.

A past that October had forgotten she would have to revisit, until she had received the letter inviting her to her sister's graduation, that was. Of course. Somehow even though they weren't even a year apart in age, the thought that April was graduating already seemed absurd. How had so much time passed? And so she had returned to Hogwarts, feeling a weight on her shoulders just from stepping into this building. How had she lived with this for seven years?! It felt nightmarish, the invisible pressure to always be doing something, even if October had nothing left to do here. She sat stiffly upright as she listened to the Headmistress, wondering who had taken over from herself and Jerara. She recognised Kauri at once and wasn't the slightest bit surprised. He was probably the safest choice possible, after Jerara's stunt at the last graduation. October didn't really recognise the Head Girl at all though, surprised by the choice. Whoever this was, she hadn't been a Prefect. Interesting. October listened to the speeches quietly, flashing back to her own speech up on that same stage a year ago. Did they feel the same dread, the same desperate need to make every word perfect? October didn't know, but it didn't seem likely. Just being in this school felt horrible, and October couldn't wait to leave. She watched the graduations impatiently, waiting for her sister's turn. Finally, April was up, and October burst out laughing at the sight of her cartwheeling across the stage, just as she had at sorting. Of course, April was always herself. October admired and envied her sister's carefree attitude, clapping loudly as April received her diploma. Now, if they could get out of here as soon as possible...

Attending graduation was just part of the routine of Hogwarts life at this point, though every year Kahurangi felt a twinge in her heart, farewelling students who had worked hard in her classes for the past three years. And now Kahurangi felt a connection to all Ravenclaws, meaning that the routine of graduation had only gotten more emotionally involving. She took a seat with the rest of the school staff, listening quietly as Katherine gave her speech, followed by the head people. Kauri and Sophie had both worked hard in Kahurangi's classes for the past three years, and she would be sorry to see them both go, though she knew they would continue to impress in their future lives, no matter where those took them. She watched the graduates stand up and get their diplomas, applauding each student in turn as they accepted the piece of paper that would be their passport to their new careers, and lives as adults.

It seemed like only yesterday that James had been here to watch his oldest daughter graduate, and yet the time had already come to return to Hogwarts for Phoebe's graduation. His children were growing up much too fast, and James almost couldn't handle it. He was thankful that Eva had agreed to watch Lucy today, as the toddler was going through quite a loud phase, and he didn't especially want to be the one whose infant interrupted the ceremony. Sitting with Claudia, James watched the Headmistress give her speech, followed by the Head Boy. He was still a little disappointed Rose's relationship with Kauri was over, as he had seemed like a good influence on her. James certainly approved of Kauri more than he did of the friends Rose had chosen to live with, though he knew better than to say that to his daughter to her face. He clapped for each speech, appreciating the sincerity of all of them, and then watched as the graduates began to take the stage. His heart swelled as Phoebe's turn came, and James clapped even louder, watching Phoebe cross the stage and accept her diploma. When she waved at them, James waved back immediately with a broad grin, forgetting that the Minister's husband should probably compose himself with a little more decorum in public. Right now, all James felt like was a proud father.

Matt had known this day would come for a while now, but it still managed to overcome hom a bit. He already felt the tears prickling behind his eyes before anything even happened, and he clung to Kyle's hand as if it was the only thing holding him steady. It had been strange to see October graduate last year too, but somehow she had seemed... more ready for the real world. In Matt's eyes, April was still a baby. He couldn't help it, even though she towered over nearly every other student at Hogwarts these days. He listened to the speeches in almost a daze, though he did appreciate Kauri's heartfelt words. He had been April's best friend since their first year, and Matt had a fondness for the boy. Then it was time for everyone to go up and get their diploma. Matt nearly burst into tears the moment April cartwheeled across the stage, though he managed to contain himself. It only seemed like yesterday when she had done the exact same thing at her sorting, and here she was... leaving the school to become an adult. Matt clapped loudly until his hands stung , dabbing at his eyes when April returned to her seat. He would miss her terribly at Hogwarts.
