Which would you rather be stuck in for half an hour - a broken down elevator or an inescapable conversation with someone whose name you can't remember but should?

Oh god, the elevator, I frequently can't get out of conversations and I find it hard to exit naturally. I was once stuck in a conversation for three hours at the shops and I COULD NOT figure out how to leave without it looking abrupt.

Would you rather always have just enough money for anything you want at all times when you need it or get a billion dollars. Notice it's need, not want. You can't just buy a mansion because you don't need it.
