The Stands

Maya slid into one of the benches as the Quidditch game between Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Maya was excited and had pained her face on Hufflepuff colours with banners and flags. As the game started she cheered when one of the Hufflepuff chasers managed to get his hands on the quaffle. "Go Mason!" He managed to keep the quaffle for a bit until it was taken by Graeme. Maya cheered again and waved her banners. "Go Graeme! I believe in you!" She was excited to see who would score the first point.

Emily skipped down to the Quidditch pitch, her face painted in both Slytherin colours and Hufflepuff colours. She held loyalty for her team of course, but she was also going to support her friend Avie. She grinned as she slid into the bench next to Maya. The game was well under way now and both teams had scored. Emily jumped up and cheered, she wasn't sure if she was cheering completely for Hufflepfuff though. Of course she was still upset over everything with Logan, but he was one of the reasons she was here, they all needed some down time for a break. "Go, go, Hufflepuff! Go, go, Hufflepuff!"

Jean had gone to the game more to eye the competition than for anything else. The Gryffindor knew how his brother played, but the other Slytherins were just as good and he didn't know them as well. As the game quickly began, the Gryffindor boy was surprised to see his brother remain on the bench. A slightly worried expression crossed his face as he watched his brother for a few seconds. Eventually, the game won out. It was an exciting one. Jean knew that Lucien's friend Esme was also a good player and she proved it quickly enough. Jean watched the game, his feet on the seat in front of him. It was a great game, back and forth between both teams. Neither wanted to give the other the advantage. As his brother entered the game, Jean grinned. The Hufflepuffs wouldn't stand much of a chance now.

Orwell had dyed his hair red, he had a banner with the words, Go Archie written on them, and a bright smile on his face. He was in amongst the Ravenclaws, but it was pretty obvious who Orwell was supporting. He didn't care much for sports, he didn't really see the point in quidditch, but his best friend took part in it, and so he would show his support to him. He sat amongst a sea of blue standing out pretty badly and booed loudly when the gryffindor chaser got hurt, he found himself becoming immersed in the watching of this game, and when the ravenclaw chaser seemed to have the ball, he just stood in his seat, "You can do it Archie!" he yelled loudly.

Victoire was a huge quidditch fan, she didn't play it, but she enjoyed watching it a lot, and she tried to make as many games as she could, though it was difficult with the end of the semester slowly creeping up, though she didn't have any exams she was still looking forward to being able to study and the end of the term despite no exams didn't mean she got to slack off, not at all. But, she had taken the time to be able to attend this Gryffindor game, and was cheering from the sidelines for her house team, that didn't seem to be doing that well, when Hufflepuff managed to score first and then managed to get the ball back, but this didn't stop Victoire's cheering for her house team as strongly as she was.

Matthew loved Quidditch, he had for as long as he could remember. He even enjoyed a brief stint on the Ravenclaw team himself but issues back home meant he wasn't in the right frame of mind to play the game when he returned. These days he was an avid fan and he loved nothing more than seeing his house beat Slytherin. Though, lately he had developed a bit of a soft spot for Slytherin ever since the Yule ball. Nothing would change his allegiance on the day but the thought that somewhere in the stands Alana was cheering for the opposite team felt very strange to him. Matthew settled into his position and watched as the players made their way out and the starting teams began to form up. There was some newer faced among the Slytherin line up that he hadn't seen before. One of the chasers in fact looked very familiar to him. But he couldn't quite make her out from his position.

Seeing Jean this relaxed anywhere near the pitch was a rarity, but he didn't have much invested in the game other than a few sickles that his brother would score first. The teenager sat with his feet on the top part of the bench in front of him, lounging as he watched the Slytherin team go to work. He hoped they would be successful today.

Fiona loved going to Quidditch games. And today, she had decided on cheering for Hufflepuff for the last game of the season. Emilee and Florence's house team can just buzz off for all she cared. As soon as the game had started, the Ravenclaw had already begun to cheer. There hadn't been much action yet but considering that Slytherin had a chance against Hufflepuff in the Cup, it was bound to get interesting. "WOO! GO ARNOST! Hit them all!" the young girl screamed and cheered without care. Well, she was there for her friend, wasn't she? What kind of friend would she be if she didn't cheer as loud as she could to show her support.

Jean would have given anything to be on the pitch right now. He definitely wasn't going to miss the chance to watch the Hufflepuffs get the opportunity to embarrass the professors. At least, he hoped that would happen. The Gryffindor made his way to the pitch and found a good seat to watch the game.

Victoire had decided to take time out of her studies to be able to watch the quidditch game, she had looked hard, but eventually had found yellow colours to wear for this game, she had painted a small H on her cheek and instead of the usual red ribbon she wore for her house, she had found a yellow one and was heading to the pitch, she managed to fight her way through the crowd until she spotted Jean and went over to him to watch this game, she really wanted the students to win, "I really want Hufflepuff to win this," she muttered to him happily.

Avie had made his own shirt for this game, it wasn't too hard to paint a an H on to a plain t-shirt and so he was wearing that to the game, happily with Rockie on his shoulder, with a poor written banner with the words, go Mason, he had gotten Lucien's help with the letters spelling it all correctly, but the writing had been his and it was shaky and uneven, but you could make it out and Avie was happy with it, he spotted the hufflepuff team, and cheered loudly, "GO MASON" he yelled out for one of his best friends, the only one currently playing.

Professor Misha Haden, hadn't ever played quidditch, he hadn't particularly liked quidditch when he'd been at school, and thought it was a little silly to have such a game for it, but the professor was out supporting the other professors and specifically one of his friends, Jon who had chosen to be on the team, but to the surprise of the man. He hadn't known much about Jon, and not that he liked quidditch, but here he found himself at the stands, sitting in the professor bit, unsure on how the professors remaining were ever going to cheer as loudly as the students currently were, there would a few students on their side he was sure, but not enough. This would hopefully be quite interesting.

Professor Kingsley was dying a little inside, sad that she couldn't participate in the student versus staff game. She'd played Beater for Gryffindor, even captaining the team for a time. As she made her way to the stands, the baby kicked at her stomach, matching the excitement in the air. The woman rubbed at her stomach, hoping the baby would settle down enough that she could enjoy the match. She grinned at Misha as she took a seat near him, ready to cheer the professors on.

Olivia was disappointed when the Quidditch season ended, even more so that Ravenclaw's season ended so disappointingly. For a while now the second year had been contemplating trying out for the team next year but she still hadn't made up her mind, it certainly wasn't something her sister would like. Regardless of her issues with her sister she always cheered her on during Quidditch and Hufflepuff's surprise match against the Professors was no exception. Olivia took her seat next to a couple of fellow Ravenclaw's and clapped her hands together as the game began.

Orwell had no interest in Quidditch, and really only cared for it when Archie cared for it, and really this was just because he liked watching his best friend play. It was easy for him to just follow it along on those occasions. The teen grinned happily, his hair dyed golden with black streaks, and a badger on his t-shirt, he was so excited for this, because as much as he respected the professors after the year he'd had fighting against them a victory on the field was sure to go a long way. The teen grinned happily at Archie as he walked hand in hand with him towards the stands, he walked with him into the crowd and then pushed through until he noticed some empty spots beside Jean, "Let's go sit with Jean!" he said to Archie before dragging him over, and sitting down next to him, Orwell having still not let go of Archie's hand, but he flashed a smile at Jean before letting his gaze fall to the game in front of him, oh, he was so ready for this, the victory to the students.

Archie was usually the one playing Quidditch, not the one cheering it on from the sidelines. He almost felt out of place walking to the stands and knowing he wasn't going to be in the middle of all the action, but he knew that watching a game between Professor's and students wasn't an opportunity to pass up so he had gone all out in show of support. His blonde hair was now lined with black streaks and he had a prideful "Go Hufflepuff" that Orwell had messily written along his forehead in left over face paint from the last wild patch event. As he arrived at the stands he squeezed Orwell's hand and made his way over to the few spare seats beside Jean. Archie was ready to cheer the students on as loud as his lungs would let him. He could already tell that this game was going to be good and he would be happy if the cheering caused him to lose his voice tomorrow morning.

It was quidditch and that was enough to draw Alana. She was eager to watch the professors get their behinds handed to them. If the other students couldn't beat them, she didn't expect a bunch of old professors to get the job done. Glancing around, Alana didn't spot anyone familiar. It wasn't like she had many of them. She settled for the first empty spot she saw and waited for the game to begin, cheering when the Hufflepuffs took possession.

Jean was happy to be surrounded by his friends to enjoy this game. He wondered where his brother was, knowing the guy wouldn't miss the game not even for a snogging opportunity. As Lydia made the catch, Jean jumped from his seat. "Go Lydia" he yelled, cupping his hands around his mouth.
