Liusaidh arrived at the pitch, she motioned for the team that were already there to gather round. She knew other captains gave big speeches and talked about all they should do, and work, but Liusaidh wasn't like that. "Right, get in the air, let's get tae it," short and brief and after a small glance to Eleanor to see if she had anything to add before getting up into the air.

Seamus was glad to be back on the pitch, he got on his broom and shot up into the air looking for that first bludger.
 
After the last game Ivelisse had to suppress some nerves as she walked back onto the pitch for training. She was undoubtedly feeling an ever greater pressure to perform and she was certain Celia would have it out for her in one way or another. Luckily, there wasn't much time to think about it all and she made sure to quickly push herself off of the ground when they were allowed to get right to it.
 
Once practice started, Natalia flew into the air and grabbed the quaffle, tucking it under her arm.
 
Ivelisse looked for the snitch.
 
Indi frowned as Natalia grabbed the quaffle first but she followed behind quickly to try and steal it from her before she could score a goal.
 
Celia stalked onto the pitch with just one goal in mind: Send Ivelisse back to the Hospital Wing. She found it absurd that Ivelisse was still on the team. The girl was a crappy seeker with an even worse attitude. Celia hadn't really had any complaints about Liusaidh's and Eleanor's performances as team captains so far, but the decision to keep Ivelisse around made her seriously question their judgement. At the very least, they needed to demote Ivelisse to an alternate.

Practice started, and Celia shot into the air. Once she was at a comfortable height, she surveyed the pitch, taking note of the bludgers and Ivelisse's position. With one eye on the seeker, Celia took off after a bludger.
 
Ivelisse continued looking, trying to shake the feeling that Celia was watching her every move.
 
Celia smacked the bludger towards Ivelisse, missing the girl by inches. But she wasn't worried. She had all of practice to knock out the seeker. During the game, Ivelisse had only lasted three hits before she was forced off the pitch. Celia was sure that if she hit hard enough, she could manage it in two.
 
Ivelisse ducked when she noticed a bludger fly straight for her head, glaring in the general direction it had come from. Having to change her line of view caused her to catch a glimpse of gold though and she quickly shot after it. Reaching out her hand Ive managed to wrap her fingers about the little golden ball when she could, grinning as she held it up for the team to see. In some way, Celia had just helped her catch the snitch.
 
Avery frowned slightly as Ivelisse managed to find the snitch before too long. It was still early, he had time.
 
Natalia flew up to the hoops. To her frustration, her shot was blocked.
 
Liusaidh let Natalia get the ball first and then chased after her. She was very pleased with how quickly Ive caught the snitch. Though did hope that in a game she'd at least allow her an opportunity to score first and have some glory. She was a little frustrated as Natalia failed to score, but just grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out.

Celia rolled her eyes at Ivelisse's obvious excitement. Who cared about one catch? It was just a bit of luck, and Celia was sure Avery would end the practice with at least twice as many catches as Ivelisse.
 
Ivelisse had taken a moment to let the snitch fly off before starting her search again.
 
Indi grew a bit frustrated as Liusaidh grabbed the quaffle before she could but she wasn't about to let her get away with it completely just because she was captain. She kept close to the other girl and was looking for any opportunity to steal.
 
As soon as Liusaidh was close enough she threw the ball and felt pretty good about herself when it sailed in.
 
Celia was a bit annoyed when Seamus managed to hit Ivelisse before she could, but hopefully it meant the seeker would get knocked out sooner. She accelerated after the other bludger, lined up her shot, and sent it soaring towards @Ivelisse Burleigh. She smirked.

Avery had to wonder if Ivelisse was cursed to be a magnet for bludgers, or if she simply wasn't good at avoiding them. He continued his search for the snitch, keeping an eye out for any bludgers that might have come his way, too.
 
Ivelisse thought she noticed a hint of the snitch when she felt the, by now, familiar sensation of a bludger slamming into her. Another followed quickly after and clenched her teeth while her knuckles turned white from the grip she had on her broom. These hurt a lot less than the bludgers during games but they still hurt. She wasn’t going to give Celia the satisfaction of showing it though, powering through and continuing her search.
 
Indi finally saw her opening and grabbed the quaffle as it was tossed back into the game.
 
Unfortunately, Ivelisse kept flying, even after the successive two hits. Whatever. Celia was sure she'd knock her out eventually. She took off after one of the bludgers.
