Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y37/S1

Searching for the snitch over the stands, Blake heard a bludger coming too late. He tried to roll to avoid it but it smacked hard into his upper thigh, sending searing pain all down his leg. He cried out, gripping his broom tightly as the momentum forced him into a barrel roll that took a few seconds to stop. Righting himself, he shook his head to shake off the dizziness and try to refocus on his task. "I'm fine." He said quickly, shooting Ruben a look, then gave Paige a thumbs up. "Keep it up!" He called out, before returning to the hunt for the snitch.

Ruben gave a weak smile to Blake and returned his search for the snitch which seemed to be particularly hard to find.

Mo had been too busy focusing on the competition of the seekers that a goal went through. Damn. That was twice now. He threw the ball back into play

Blake tried to ignore the throbbing in his thigh as he flew on, searching the areas above the stands as he tried to find any sign of the snitch.

Ruben decided to fly a bit higher then he was, maybe a higher view from the pitch would give him a better chance at finding the snitch.

Paige frowned slightly when Blake told her to keep it up. By his reaction one would think that another hint would knock him right off of his broomstick, so she didn't know if keeping it up was such a good think to do. Whether it was or not, it did not matter anyway, as the bludgers were actively trying not to get whacked with a bat.

Daintree was still looking for some success and he was sure he'd find it eventually, it was just taking a while.

Liusaidh finally got an opportunity for the ball and managed to catch it as it was thrown back out. She began flying towards goals, hopeful she might not completely fail a this in front of anyone and ready to kick at the other chasers if they tried to take this from her.

Penny circled the pitch looking for bludgers. She tried aiming the bludger but it was harder than it looked getting a moving target.

Paige hovered in the air, looking around for bludgers. She had done ok so far which she was happy about, though she could be doing a lot better.

Ruben kept searching for the snitch, not sure how long it would take until he finds it. His body was still aching from the bludgers but he was trying his best to ignore the pain.

The bludger flew near Penny and she whacked it towards another player and watched as it soared past them without a hit. She had practiced loads over the summer but it wasn't enough, Penny really needed to up her game.

2a)

Tres was on a winning streak now, and she had very little intention of going "easy" on anyone else. She flew up behind the younger chaser, trying to keep her movements subtle until she was able to slip the ball out of the girls grasp, snatching it yet again and darting off in the opposite direction.

Ruben was still searching for the snitch, the golden orb seemed to have just vanished.

Paige was relatively happy with the way things were going. Of course, she wished that she would get some more hits in but it was going fine.

Penny flew across the pitch watching the training. She was particularly impressed with a chaser taking possession of the quaffle. Hopefully one day she'll have good skills like that.

Ruben kept looking for the snitch feeling already some frustration.

Paige flew circles around the pitch, actively hunting down bludgers to hit.

Ruben looked to Blake to see if he was having more luck than him but he seemed not to know where the snitch was either. Ruben kept looking, he still wanted to catch it a few more times before the end of the practice.

Paige spotted one of the bludgers flying close to Mordred and immediately pressed forward on her broomstick to try and catch up to it.

Blake tried to ignore the throbbing in his thigh as he flew on, pressed close to his broom and looking all around for any sign of the elusive snitch.

Ruben was trying his hardest to forget the pain in his body by focusing on searching the snitch but he was not having much luck at either tasks.

Mordred stayed focused on his task, to prevent any more goals from being made. There was just so much going on with these darn chasers!

Ruben kept his search for the snitch while also dodging some bludgers, he might not be catching the snitch but at least he was getting some game experience.

If there was one thing to be optimistic about, it was that at least Blake wasn't using up all his good luck on a practice. Still, he couldn't believe how poor his luck had been compared to Ruben's, teeth gritted tightly as he continued to search.
