Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y37/S1

Daintree was watching the younger beater have more success than him with some frustration, he could do that too, he was just having a bad practice.

Liusaidh was increasingly frustrated and bored, did no-one get that she was the best player and should just always be given the ball. She fell in behind and sensing an opportunity, reached forward and snatched the quaffle back from her.

Rule 2a

2a)

Tres shot a look at the Chaser who called her out for stealing, "You won't be saying that when I steal it off Gryffindor!" She shouted back, keen not to let them think it was a bad thing. Before she could do anything else, she was hit in the side by one of the bludgers, and instinctively she had to wonder whether it was Daintree. Her watering eyes looked towards him although he didn't seem to be focused on her at all. Maybe it was the other kid then. It hurt more than Tres had anticipated, and she was glad she hadn't tried out for the position of seeker. As the Quaffle was stolen out of her arm while she had her eyes on the beaters, she scowled at the younger girl and shot off after her once more, trying to pull back her dignity. No way was anyone going to show her up. The older boy seemed scared to prove himself but she wasn't, and after a few seconds she managed to slap the largest ball out of the grip of the redhead once more, snatching it for herself and flying off before another bludger could get to her.

Tres threw the Quaffle towards the hoops, watching as it didn't actually go in this time. "RIGGED!" she shouted, half wondering if someone watching her was trying to make her fail on purpose. She flew off again and let the other chasers try and catch it for once, heck she knew that apparently needed practise in holding onto the ball as well.

Soon after hitting Blake with a bludger, Paige found another one. She sped up towards it and gave it a good whack with her back, sending the bludgers towards the Chaser who had just missed her shot.

@Tres Bear II

Daintree finally managed to hit a ludger and it went straight towards the eldest of the chasers. Smiling as it hit square on.

Liusaidh had no sooner got the ball that the girl had taken it back. She felt rather happy when she failed to score. "Serves ye right," Liusaidh shouted towards her as she rushed forward and caught the quaffle as it was thrown back out. She would take this, get this chance finally.

Jasper laughed softly when the other young chaser stole the quaffle, but it didn't take long until Tres stole it back. She was being rude and annoying, and Jasper hoped Blake was paying attention. He smirked slightly when she failed to score, and then was hit by a bludger. But then he was hit by a bludger as well, which knocked him off course. He followed the other chaser, the young girl who now had the quaffle.

Daintree was pretty pleased he'd managed to hit, it had taken a while for him to get it, but it was good he got he in the end. Now, he just had to do it again.

When Liuasidh got close enough she tried to score, and cursed loudly when it failed to cross the hoops, and instead the keeper caught it.

Paige was happy that she was doing so well during her first-ever practice as an official member of the team, it definitely show Blake that he should've picked her much sooner.

Paige was currently in pursuit of another bludger, hoping she could catch up to it soon.

When no one else rushed forward for the ball, Liusaidh decided to. She grabbed it and began once again flying towards the hoops.

Daintree continued in his search for bludgers to hit to players.

Paige was still trying to catch up to the bludger, pressing forward on her broomstick to gain more speed.

Penny was feeling confident after she had some success with a bludger. She flew around the pitch looking to hit another one.

Paige missed the bludger by inches, barely scraping the iron ball with her bat. She then continued to follow it.

As soon as Liusaidh was once again close enough to the hoops she threw the ball, but it went wide and she missed completely. Another loud string of curses flowed out of her mouth. She was better than this, maybe that other awful chaser had been right, perhaps it was rigged.

Ruben kept his search for the snitch through the pitch. This was becoming particularly hard.

Paige was still in pursuit of the bludger she'd been following for the past minute or so, hoping to land in another it soon.

Ruben kept searching for the snitch, not being very successful in the task of finding it now. It was official, his luck had ended.

Although Paige kind of wanted that butterbeer Blake had promised the Beater who could take him out of the practice, she decided to spare him when she caught up to the bludger and was about to give it a good whack with her bat. Had Sapphire still been part of the team, she wouldn't even have thought about it, as there would still have been someone to lead the practice. But since Blake was on his own, Paige decided to send the iron ball towards Jasper instead.

Eleanor has been hanging around in the background most of the practice. However, Liusaidh had missed her last shot so the Quaffle was free. Eleanor darted forward and grabbed the quaffle. She tucked it under her arm and flew towards the hoops. When she made it there, she attempted a shot. Unfortunately, she missed. She groaned and frustrated and waited for another chance.

Ruben was flying around looking for the snitch feeling a little tired of doing so already, especially since the snitch didn't seem to be wanting to be found any time soon.

Paige was quite glad with how well she was performing today and could only hope that she'd land in a couple of hits during a real match too.
