Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice

Hamish watched Minnie grab the snitch, studying her technique but wincing as she took a bludger.

Sawyer started drifting just slightly below the hoops, wondering if he could pop up to grab the quaffle.

Hamish took a break to watch the others.

Branson caught the ball again as it was thrown back out into play. He would circle back and hopefully this time, actually score.

Minnie let the snitch go and took a moment to just watch her team, her arm throbbed painfully but she wouldn't let it get to her.

Hamish continued his search, thinking idly he would need to join Seamus on a few runs to build up his stamina.

Sawyer kept an eye on Branson, still lurking lower than he normally would to see if he could bait the chasers into aiming for a specific spot.

Hamish continued his search.

Branson threw the ball and was disappointed when it landed straight in the keepers hands. Branson sighed at himself, he should be better than this, but apparently not.

Minnie continued to search for the snitch.

Sawyer was well ready for Branson, popping up at the last minute to grab the quaffle and feeling pretty pleased with himself. He threw the quaffle back into play, pondering if he should use the rest of practice to keep trying new things.

Hamish continued his search.

Hamish continued his search.

Sawyer wondered if he'd get tired playing in the other positions, watching them all zip around searching for stuff.

Finn felt wobbly on his broom as ever but he tried to keep himself steady, focusing on that at first as he tried to get a feel for the other players' movements. Eventually spotting a bludger nearby he flew over to it and swung hard, relieved when the ball flew across the pitch, though as usual he hadn't managed to hit anyone. Terrible.

Minnie continued to search for the snitch.

Sawyer watched Finn knock a bludger across the pitch, relieved it was staying away from his spot at the hoops.

Juniper saw Finn get a taste of a bludger but watched as it sailed into the distance. "You got this, Finn!" she shouted encouragingly.

Hamish sighed, trying not to be too frustrated as he continued his search.

Sawyer was distinctly aware that he shouldn't heckle the beaters, but he couldn't help himself, calling out to Juniper after she spoke to Finn. "Can I also get some words of encouragement? I'm working very hard sitting here," he called, though it wasn't totally a joke, his whole body was tired from trying to stay on top of the chasers.

Hattie was a little disappointed that the chasers weren't doing so well, but everyone else seemed to be. She caught the quaffle once it was thrown back out and headed towards the keeper to hopefully score.

Sawyer had to reel back talking to Juniper as Hattie took possession of the quaffle, not wanting to get too distracted.
