Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice

Minnie immediately spotted the snitch in front of her and in a quick motion was able to grab it out of the air. She sighed loudly, holding it in her hand. She made sure to show it off before letting it loose.

Sawyer had been watching the chasers, which was apparently a mistake since a bludger caught him out of no where, winding him as he clutched his broom. "Juniper.... why," he wheezed, motioning vaguely at how far away the quaffle was.

Hamish was hardly paying attention to the others, focused on his search, when a glint of gold caught the corner of his eye. He turned, chasing it down, and before long he came up with the snitch in hand. "Captain!" He called, releasing it when she saw he had it.

As both of their seekers caught the snitch, Hattie beamed. They were doing so well, now all she had to do was get the quaffe through. When she made it to the hoops she attempted a shot. Unfortunately, it was caught and Hattie sighed.

Hamish waited a moment, letting the snitch get lost again and instead watching the others play for a minute.

Sawyer couldn't believe Minnie and Hamish had both managed to catch the snitch so fast. He kept an eye on the quaffle and hoped this boded well for their upcoming game.

Hamish resumed his search, curious if he would be able to find it again.

Sawyer's side still kinda ached and he rubbed it ruefully as he watched the chasers (and also Juniper) from his spot near the hoops.

Hamish continued his search, scanning the skies.

Minnie knew she wouldn't have immediately success just after letting it go, but she had hoped for it.

Branson caught the ball as it was thrown back out by the keeper and then headed to do a loop of the pitch to be able to score again.

Minnie could spot the chasers having some issues, but she knew that the new keeper was definitely very good so she wasn't too surprised, hopefully though they'd have some success soon, she knew it could be really demoralising to not.

-oops wrong button-

Hamish continued his search.

As soon as Branson got close enough he tried to score but he missed.

Minnie kept searching for the snitch.

Hamish kept looking. This was a little harder than he'd thought it would be.

Sawyer tried to be ready as Branson approached the hoops, though his shot missed, which let Sawyer relax some. He scooped up the quaffle, throwing it back out to the waiting chasers.

Minnie kept pushing to find the snitch again but wasn't having much luck with it.

Hamish continued to fly around, wondering what Seamus was doing right now.

Finn couldn't believe he had somehow made it back onto the Quidditch team again after last year. He had almost felt silly showing up to tryouts a second time, having barely managed anything in his first year as alternate, despite actually playing in a match. But here he was, and there was nothing to do but try to improve, so he took off with the rest of the team, spending the first part of the match just getting his bearings, finding his balance on the broom. Once he felt settled he flew towards a bludger and swung, pleased that his bat at least connected, though the shot flew wide of any other players.

Hamish continued his search.

Sawyer knew he should keep his focus on what the chasers were up to, but seeing Juniper and Finn moving around still made him nervous.

Hamish's heart leapt as he saw a glint of gold, and he turned sharply, racing after it. He caught up to it quickly, holding it up to show Minnie before releasing it again.
