Welcome, to the Hogwarts Staff Dueling Tournament! This year, the adults have the opportunity to join in on the fun that the students like to hoard to themselves 
For those of you unfamiliar with how dueling works, please be sure to check the Rules and Points System, and perhaps go over old topics as a point of reference.
Match Information
Matches will begin on Friday, June 8th (AEST) and all threads will be posted in this topic. All matches have a 24 hour posting deadline, and if that deadline is missed then the last duelist to post is considered the victor. Matches have a seven day time limit, and if no victor is reached by the end of the seventh day, one will be decided through a random generator.
Eligibility
To be eligible to compete in this tournament, your character must be a member of Hogwarts New Zealand staff. This includes professors, librarians, counselors, caretakers, hospital wing nurses, and the like. (House-elves are unfortunately unable to participate, since we don't quite know the extent of their abilities
)
Prize
Since professors don't have the benefit of receiving house-points, the victor(s) will instead receive a cash prize of1 galleon a yet-to-be-determined number of galleons. Professors and staff are free to pool in money for the prize, but this isn't necessary to compete, and the amount of galleons will be adequate regardless of whether anyone decides to chip in (Katherine will just deduct it from your payslips, its fine 
)
